As for "classic" I've always been fond of the 1920s. But I guess if I were going to emulate someone then...well offhand I can only think of Gabrielle (both long & short hair) from Xena which was shown in the 90s (I think she was shown wearing sweetheart sunglasses which I like and were popular for awhile in the 90s) but that's not really 90s (still, it could be inspirational...). Off the top of my head there was ONE episode where I LOVED how Buffy looked in BtVS (that is, I wanted to look like that) called Gone (s6). Unfortunately she changed fast and it's very hard to find a good pic of it (she spent most of the episode invisible), but here's what I found: Cute, sexy, and dignified IMO. Granted, that ep came out in 2001 but I think that look had been around awhile. And I just realized this look is somewhat reminiscent of the flappers from the 1920s! When older I think I'd like to look like Dana Scully (especially the first 4 seasons which was 90s), she has a versatile, athletic, sexy, dignified look that I love. I tend to just make my own style, however. Always have, even when I do choose a style I find a way to make it my own. Leo asc Libra sun & Venus IP: Logged |

It seems to me that Marilyn Monroe is iconic, many women love her, and I've heard of many models idolizing her (my mom just one of them). I've heard more than one song dedicated to her decades after her death. Nicki Minaj even did a song about her not that long ago. She's almost just as iconic and popular among men (I think most songwriters who created a song about her were male) though I'd bet Bettie Page would beat her in a popularity contest (only among males, though Beyoncé has done at least one tribute to her). Both men & women love Marilyn. From all races. From every generation! LOL. Funny thing is...most models don't have in their WHOLE BODY the amount of sex appeal that Marilyn had in her pinky finger. She will never be duplicated no matter how hard most people try! I do really like Bettie Page also! Yes. I admire women who are classy yet truly very sassy. Sensual, alluring, curvaceous, powerful. That's what I aspire to be! You think that fits my ASC-Sun-Venus combo?!

I dunno much about sex appeal but I know I like the 40's fashion most. Virgo AC, Capricorn Sun, Aquarius Venus.Btw, I don't get this whole Marylin obsession. I haven't seen any of her films but when I see her photos, she annoys me. She was pretty but I find her style and image terrible. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Great topic! I love the 60's icons: Brigitte Bardot, Jean Shrimpton, Raquel Welch and Sharon Tate. They of the curvy bodies, long, crown-teased hair, and sexy makeup are still the feminine ideal for me.IP: Logged |

Gem ASC Aries Sun 11 Venus Pisces 10 I will add my Mars cause that's a physical sex sign...Aquarius house 10. Different era make me feel different. Each one can give it's own unique confidence boosts. 1900's:For romance I'm in love with the turn of the century looks, and very proper charming and lady life. 20's-30's: I recently tried a Marcel bangs wit a curly bun look. Makes me feel proper and polished in the front, and romantic in the back with a curly bun. 40's: The glamor, those big glamorous curls, makes me feel sensual and womanly! 50's: Very poised cute looks,as well as rebellious/edgy looks like women starting to wear PANTS! and their boyfriends sweaters and leather jackets. 50's make me feel poised and edgy. Curly pony tails make me think of the 50's and that makes me feel like a goody two shoes. 60's: Love the teased smooth hair looks. I'd say the 60 looks win for me when it comes to a sex appeal looks. Yes for me 60's get the gold metal for sex appeal. I feel the dresses are both classy and sexy the dresses they wear on the job are so poised looking but also very sexy with out being revealing. And the more night on the town looks...the cat eye make up makes me feel sexy and fun. Gogo boots hell yes! I feel like the 60's looks are just sexy and fun enough with out looking slutty. 70's: Now women wearing pants are in the norm. Dressing 70ish makes me feel hot in a free spirited laid back down to earth kind of way. Makes me feel more relateable w/ the opposite sex. The wavy hair looks so naturally sexy.(even if you style it to look that way) 80's: Something about teased hair just screams "I am going to rock your ****ing world. But some of the mullet looking stuff YIKES! That would not makes me feel sexy, that would make me feel like a weirdo. Messy hair can be sexy, but some of the hair looks like rats nest! Shoulder pads do not make me feel sexy at all. Lots of hits and misses in the 80's. Hits like leg warmers and acid wash jeans. 90's: oh yes a time for grunge and valley girls! I do like the flannel for a I'm sexy and idfaf look. But grunge hair...nonono. That does not make me feel sexy at all. That makes me feel gross, depressed and edgy in a bad way. I have two fashion role models from the 90's Fran Drescher and Posh Spice. For sex appeal Gold Medal: 60's Silver: 70's Bronze: tired 40's and 90's

For what I find attractive, it depends which gender you're asking about. For females, I'd say the 70s. For males, I'd say the 90s. And for the second question I'd say the 90s. Pisces Sun Taurus Ascendant Capricorn Venus ------------------ My chart: http://i.imgur.com/N9w5x4Z.gif IP: Logged |

I like the whole 1920s Flapper thing I think that just looks incredibly cool. My favorite decades are the 1920s and 1980s.I like how in the 20s, a dress down to your knees or ankles that didn't show every curve you had, was sexy. There's kinda a dark elegance about the whole 20s that I just really really like. The 80s just have my heart cuz I was born in 1981 and everything from that time just seems cool to me. I liked how colorful and out there everything was. Jem and the Holograms, Punky Brewster, Prince trotting around dressing like he was from a bygone era with ruffles at the front of his neck. Everything was just wild and very very fun and cool. Sun Leo Moon conjunct Pluto in Libra,8th house Aquarius Ascendant

For both questions, I'd definitely say 1920s. There's just something irresistibly beckoning about the style; all classy, but still looking casual and comfortable. ASC Taurus Apollonas & Aphrodite in Gemini, 2H------------------ L'amour d'Aphrodite et un choc de beauté~ IP: Logged |

I have little knowledge about this topic. But from what I've seen, I think I prefer the "style" of the 1920s (flapper dresses -beaded n all ). To me it seems very light, flirty, comfortable n glamorous. I find that sexy. LOL I'd love to emulate that style but somehow I doubt that I have the right body type for it. Yes - definitely minus the racism/sexism/war! 40's are most similar to the 50's so I enjoy the 'look' of that decade as well. Like...
