leo is generally a highly confident sign, so the leo suns and risings jump right in with conversation, and then (the virgo mercury) slows them down a bit. so it's almost like jumping in without thinking beforehand. I think a virgo mercury with a less enthusiastic sun would be more cautious and aware before they speak. IP: Logged |

I am sure she has her moments when she doesn't feel confident. One of my favorite films is Winter's Bone. She showed the down to earth, survival side of Mercury in Virgo as Ree. IP: Logged |

imo moon only matters in speaking if it has aspects to the mercury or the mercury ruler. for example, I had a close friend who had a leo moon opposite aqua mercury and they were affected by inability to speak on emotional issues.IP: Logged |

lol this thread is ridiculous. Mercury is analytical sign of course he or she is going to speak with thought. Just because it comes out slower doesn't mean he/she is less confident. You have to take in Moon signs.And the part about StarlightSmileSupreme describing her mom. She sounds more like describing herself (virgo with libra mercury) cos that's what she does on the forum. I'm sorry :/ I just wanted to have other opinion. That is true emotional moon signs. I was wondering about communication with two completely different sign coming together

Writer, talkative especially one-on-one, definitely a chance to be high-strung like Starlight said. Yup, it does water down the Leo, mostly because their thoughts are a lot more hesitant, critical - especially of themselves! Double that when in a water house. Do keep in mind that when they do blow up, it will be bad. Worse than you could expect as they are usually so accommodating to everyone else (Virgo is mutable, you know) and tend to remember all the little things you said to them. I like other Leo/Virgo Merc combos a lot, even more when our Mercuries are conjunct. If not, they'll fall on one of my other Virgo planets anyway, which rule my 7th and 8th. Very good, easy energy, though I can tell they can get nervous and when they're worried. Stable, though? Hmm, for me, that depends on just how nervous I am.  Not really sure what the conjunction to Mars does. Maybe speed up my thoughts again? I generally have to hold back not to become impatient. My thoughts are three subjects ahead of whatever is being said... or behind from trying to keep up with everything. So glad for those trines to Saturn and Neptune. Wouldn't trade my Mercury for more Leo. The adaptability and willingness to help others made me what I am. I do think it keeps the Leo ego in check most of the time, haha. It's like the voice in the back of my mind going, "Nope, you can't!". Sun in the 11th expresses itself through groups and their social circle anyway. It's definitely not the easiest combo, especially not with Mercury in the 12th, but this is the chart I've been given. I trust that the universe knows what I'm supposed to do with the energies.
