I think it also depends on how that moon sign combo would land in the person's chart. For example, I do like Cancer moons but I tend to not like Cancer suns. Why? Because almost all Cancer sun's (that do not have a trine to jupiter in my chart) I've known have "backstabbed" me in some way. Cancer up to 19 degrees would land in my 12th house (Secret Enemies?). But anyways, we are talking about moons...

I have a gemini moon. I get along very well with late gemini moons but not ones that are about 8 or 9 degrees away from my moon sign. The moon in my chart is being clobbered by an opposition to uranus, square to jupiter, conjunction to chiron, and square to the sun. Another gemini mooner in the same range as mine would have to handle this in synastry and most cannot, therefor we do not get along well despite a moon conjunct moon. It is the same for Sag moons in the degrees of opposition to my moon. I cannot handle that energy. However later Sag moons, I can get along with.

I think people should also post how the moon sign they are wary of most affects their chart. It might provide more insight on why certain moon signs give them certain vibes or feelings. Otherwise it's just another general thread of people complaining about signs.

I've only known one Taurus moon...he was my ex. He had a Leo sun. He was very clingy, possessive, and jealous. When I broke up with him, he stalked me for two years.

Yes!!

Am having a similar stalking experience with a moon in Taurus.

There was nothing between us. Gemini-Taurus used to be someone I found interesting to talk to, at first. Eventually the Mars conj Mercury in Cancer ( snappish) kicked in along with the controlling, jealous, and possessive moon in Taurus characteristics. I wondered when I agreed to a relationship - as a Gemini all my friendships has a flirtatious component.

A power struggle ensued and ultimately Moon in Taurus filed a complaint to retrain me from interacting with 'em - it was a gift from God. Short lived, within three weeks that #&$^$&^% tried reaching out an I blocked it. This is when they became the crazy/brooding/vengeful/slanderous stalker.

Damn! I'm sorry that happened to you! Maybe it's the fixed nature of the Taurus moon that makes it hard to let go. I know that not all Taurus moons are lunatics, but after my last experience, I can't help but be wary of getting into another relationship with one.

Virgo Moons can be hard for me to deal with because they're so damn critical. Also they tend to brag about stuff like how much they brush their teeth. My sister has a Virgo Moon and I love her dearly but it's probably my least favorite part of her chart.

I might look very clean and neat when I leave the house. But when I'm at home i'll wear the same pair of underpants or not shower for days (trying to save water here!) >_> efficiency...

Hahaha, gosh I'll have to remember the underpants thing - that is something to be wary of! chuckle, oh well, for every moon there is a silver lining, lolsy

I don't think I would be together with someone who had aqua or gemini moon

Even though their sun was compatible and everything else, I just wouldn't…cause their emotions would be so unstable I guess…ok maybe I would give Aqua moon a chance, if everything else pointed to emotional, but I'm a pisces moon myself so I need to be able to feel how they are:S

I've seen capricorns with aqua and gemini moon…they are so cold that it seems like they don't love anyone at all

I love almost all the other moons, but I would be a bit wary of capricorn moon as well, cause they are too cold also:/

Fire moons are the greatest(for friends) and water moons is the best (for relationships) for me!

I have a Scorpio Moon and I give my whole world to the people I love but if they hurt me I never go back. I forgive only for my inner peace, other than that I don't take revenge, I find it silly.

Cancer: too clingy, moody, jealous and possessive. They are ultra sensitive and take everything the wrong way to the point where I don't feel like I can be truly 100% honest around them. Walking on eggshells all of the time is exhausting and I hate sugarcoating! On the plus side, the more mature ones are very nurturing and considerate.

I think this is a great point. Interesting too.

I haven't explored much yet about "where" someone's sun, moon, etc falls into my chart. How would I best figure this out?

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of Aqua or Virgo Moons. I don't think they are horrible, I just mesh with them the least. And although I'm an Aries Sun...Aries Mooners irk the sh*t out of me. We can fight all damn day! LOL

Moon in Scorpio and Moon in Virgo. Also Moon in the 8th house and Moon in the 6th house, respectively.

Moon in Aries
Moon in air signs
Moon in Sag

They lack depth for me personally.
Moon in Aries (unless other aspects make this a bit better) are like hell to live with. As a Pisces Moon I absorb the energy around me and Aries Moon has always a negative one because they're ungry all the time for no reason. They also have a need to control you and want you to do everything for them. Of course that's when they get familiar with you which hapoens when you libe with them for months. With other relatives and stuff they are so nice though. Definately one to love from afar.

Air Moons are cold the best of them is Aqua for me. I would definately be a friend with an Aqua Moon but I don't think I would in a relationship with them.

You really don’t like air placements lol & it really depends on what you define as “depth” ...
Im honestly surprised you’re a Pisces moon because you come off more critical/judgey than I would imagine a Pisces moon would be. I think that shows not all moon signs are the same.

If I had to be honest, for me personally, Sagittarius Moon. Most of the Sag Moons that I have known always want to shoot the breeze, even when it comes to serious emotional situations. In my experience, they tend to be quite unempathetic and indifferent towards other people's emotional issues and they always expect people to be happy all the time. My dad is a Sag Moon and constantly comments on how women are "full of drama", even though he is no better, and has a very low tolerance for dealing with other people's feelings. Part of this thought might also be related to various circumstances, such as how he was raised and his experiences. He was raised in an environment that taught him to "ignore your feelings and focus on what 'really matters'."

That's just my thoughts. Even though I have my personal feelings about certain sign placements, I think it is just closed-minded and shallow to put Moon signs in a box and attribute specific sign placements for being shallow vs. deep and etc. To me, it is poor astrology and shows a bias in how you view others. For example, I have known many Pisces Moons. I know a Pisces Moon that I'm good friends with, who has tremendous depth, psychological understanding, has experienced psychic phenomena and has quite an evolved outlook on the world at large. I know another Pisces Moon who is just full of drama and lives in a delusional world of how nothing ever goes right for them, always makes drama over minor incidents (such as going "I might have to go to the hospital" and freaking out over a tiny cut on their hand) and etc. Part of it has to do with how mature, evolved, and well-developed someone is, and whether or not they choose to live on the higher or lower vibration. Accusing certain signs of being deep vs. shallow really evades what understanding astrology is all about.
