Yeah okay... lol that's what I meant too. one time there was an earthquake in the morning and my mom was trying to find the dog and my dad was like we have to go and started running out of the apartment and assumed she was behind him..
He left his wife and dog in a earthquake.. LOL leo's aaaaareeeeeee so romantic -_- I still look at him like 0_o when that story comes up. I dated a leo and honestly could imagine that I would be left in a fire or something. IP: Logged |

I didnt say i cared more about humans. I care for both. But with animals it hits me more. Should have been more specific. For example if i read in the news that a human died i feel bad and sad about it. But when its an animal i cry and it hits me more. I just see them as defensless. They cant talk or tell you whats going on. Ive had pets all my life. Whether its s turtle or fish. Dogs are more loyal then humans in my opinion.

I prefer dogs to humans. No planets in 6th house. Sun/Moon midpoint in 6th house, ruler of 6th in 4th house. 4 planets in Pisces.IP: Logged |

People with planets in earth signs are very serious about pets, will keep a pet until it dies and generally takes excellent care of them. A lot of them are fanatical about it. The most fanatical I have seen are Taurus suns. One of my friends with a Taurus sun wanted to use prisoners for medical testing instead of animals. IP: Logged |

LOL. I think maybe if it actually came down to it, he'll have a hard time deciding which one he wants tested, personally... an animal or human. But even if he really chose to save the animal, it will affect his social standing in the world dramatically, for the worse. (depending what the prisoner did to end up in jail) I really feel bad that animals have to put up with being tested with experiments, but it has to be done some way, so animals are going to have to be the ones Plus, humans are of actual more value than animals, technically. Since they are progressing the world. IP: Logged |

She happens to be a woman and now her career is probation officer! I wonder if the parolees she monitors know this?

I don't see how Mercury Retrograde would mean a person would prefer animals to other humans.I'm definitely such a person, though (and in addition to being heavily Mercurial, my Mercury, my chart ruler, is direct). Here's why I prefer the company of animals: --they are true to their nature and they respect your nature. No deceit, no insincerity, no need to demand you to be something you're not for their needs. --because they are true to their nature, their beauty is uninhibited --because of their beauty, they are teachers, showing us the path to an authentic, honest existence --as for pets, their devotion and bond to you is unconditional. You can count on them. Humans? Not so much. Loving humans usually means you have something they want and if they stop wanting that/you stop giving that, they stop loving you. Pets only want me to be present, to live in the moment, sincerely, honestly, with them. That's all they need to spend their entire lives with you. I have lots of Mercury influence: Virgo rising, Virgo Pluto and lots of planets and other things in Gem (starting from 1 Gem to 29 Gem): Amor, Venus, POF, Anubis, MC, Mercury, Nessus, Ceres, Sun, Eros (and I'm forgetting a couple at the moment). I also have Aqua Mars in the 6th, Neptune falls in my 3rd, conjunct Jupiter, and opposing my 9th house Venus/Saturn conjunction. My Pisces moon is in my 7th, conjunct to Diana by 1 degree, the goddess of the hunts who preferred the company of her hunting dogs to men. I think that's likely very significant here. IP: Logged |

Ridiculous rationalizations and such shallow thinking. To argue that something is a moral good because humans do it or humans--in our impatience, ignorance and greed--see immediate gains from it is a clear fallacy and the idea that human progress is an universal, inarguable good to be placed above the value of life is simply arrogance and intellectual immaturity. The negative impact our progress is having on our planet (the ONLY place we have to live), on other living species, and on the human race and our own future is enormous and impossible to justify. We have screwed up. Bad. And the sooner we realize that we have made a fundamental, egregious flaw in thinking what we perceive as progress is always good, while being so profoundly ignorant of and unwilling to address the consequences of that progress, the sooner we can mature as a species and get to work undoing the damage we have done. What we have proven is that progress without foresight, humility and accountability is a dangerous folly that could very well destroy us and all life on this planet, life that had begun to evolve here long before us and thus has more right to this planet than we foolish humans. That's the good in our "progress". IP: Logged |

I know a guy who reminds me of Hagrid from Harry Potter (somewhat in appearance, and a lot in demeanor). I know his Virgo Venus, Cappie Mars, and Taurus Saturn have all been given as reasons for why he's an animal lover, but I think it's his Pisces moon and NN that really seal the deal. But when he was younger he didn't actually prefer animals to humans (he was equal opportunity back then), that only came after terrible abuse and tragic events that burned him one too many times so that eventually he became extremely wary of humans. I also think his Pisces sensitivity (he's also had a NDE and later a concussion that I think enhanced his psychic abilities which make him an empath that's very difficult for him to turn off) also discourages him from human contact, and living a rural life he still saves animals (and the odd person, including me once upon a time). And perversely amusing to me, when out in the woods he warned me more of human dangers than animal ones (though he's probably right about humans being more dangerous--that include marijuana crop growers hiding from the DEA choppers, and the choppers occasionally crashing into power lines starting a forest fire, something that infuriates him), and whereas most in that area arm themselves in case they run into say an attacking bear, he arms himself more for vicious HUMANS. (Though it's only fair to mention that he's never found the need to defend himself from an animal, but one time his revolver dissuaded some young males that came after him.) IP: Logged |

While animals are much more instinctual and lack a higher sense of consciousness which humans possess. And just in case you do not know this, but humans are animals as well, as they are scientifically classified in the same kingdom as animals - which is called Animalia.
I am a virgo and yes I like both humans and animals but animals I adore! LOL. Well some humans I adore as much as animals. Also I agree with what you are saying but I find that animals if you observe them are freaking smart as hell is just that we are measuring them with our lenses and instruments which is kind of biased as we are not part of their species... I feel they have their strengths even when talking about intelligence just like we have ours but I get what you mean though too. IP: Logged |

^^Why Aquarius? I never heard that. It sure doesn't match the Aquarians I know as well (not even the one who sat in redwoods to keep them from being logged). I also never heard of Cancer rising loving animals more than humans, though the guy I described above did have Cancer rising. IP: Logged |

Thats not true. I have Mercury Rx natally and I prefer people over animals. From what I've noticed, Sagittarius people and Sagittarius dominating ones love animals over humans. To the board of the obsession. Ian Somerhalder is a Sagittarius. He has told all his gfs and potential ones he wouldnt date them if they are not animal lovers. Such a cretin! IP: Logged |

With sun signs in my experience I've seen it with Taurus and pisces people. With virgo I know a girl who adores her pets but also her family and anyone outside that isn't as important to her.IP: Logged |
