I've noticed Virgos would say it a lot.
Me included.But I do not dislike either, as both are completely different, due to human's high intelligence and intellect.
While animals are much more instinctual and lack a higher sense of consciousness which humans possess. And just in case you do not know this, but humans are animals as well, as they are scientifically classified in the same kingdom as animals - which is called Animalia. IP: Logged |

I'm guilty of that.
Its probably because im air void and retrograde Saturn retrograde Uranus and retrograde Neptune are in my 3rd house which causes communication problems,Plus I like animals because they aren't intrinsically evil like people are. IP: Logged |

Humans aren't evil either, as it is survival of the fittest for them as well.
Human's complex emotions overdrive their intellect and cause what you may call evil people. As the people who seem evil because they have no regard for life or anyone and go out of their way to do evil things for their own entertainment, then they probably are psychopaths, sociopaths, etc. As it was not their fault to be born like that. I disagree about this being a Virgo thing.Virgo are down to earth AND intellectual. Animals do not provide the intellectual satisfaction that interacting with can humans give. ------------------

Most of the people I have seen IRL who prefer or relate better to animals than humans had strong Neptunian traits. ------------------

I think most people like animals more than people because animals are much less complicated lol.
I know my dad really dislikes dogs and cats but prefers birds which is so weird for me because birds annoy me. Anyways he would much prefer a friend over a cat or something.

I'm a Virgo moon trine Neptune, Pisces rules my 6th, I love animals, they provide the basic love when humans are too busy killing each other. Humans are too complicated, where as animals it's pretty much you know what they need. IP: Logged |

Me definitely.Neptune, lilith, and juno in my 6th house. I've actually had people tell me i care about animals more than humans but thats not true.
I like to help animals. My dad was the same way and im teaching my daughter the same.

Pisces and their big hearts. I know this has nothing to do with animals but I hate insects/pests and there would be instances where i'm trying to kill one and the pisces person appears asking me not to kill.
As for pets, it's probably a 6th house or 5th house (if they don't have children to care for) thing. I also think it has something to do with retrograde planets. Dogs love you unconditionally and it makes it easier for them to care for them back whereas with human, there's always a struggle going on. They want to avoid that struggle with human.
As for bird lovers, hahah.... it's just feeding birds with seeds and water. I don't see much emotions going on. Maybe it's me, but I feel like it suits an Aquarius. lol. ------------------
