Would you say that a libra is willing to go through a lot in their relationships?
I'm thinking that libra rules 7th house and venus, and is functioning well in a relationship. But I also think they can be a bit avoidant when it comes to conflicts, and is quickly moving on?

I'm also thinking about that the opposites attract, and for a libra that would be an aries. But aries isn't exactly avoidant and likes conflict and is more aggressive? Why do libra like that, and why are they attracted to "bad boys/girls" like this?

Libras will not stay through thick and thin. What Libras crave is peaceful existence. They hate it when someone discourages them or puts what they like down. They don't want to witness stupidity, either. If someone is too stupid, I just walk out or hang up the phone. I am not a Libra sun, though, just Libra dominant.
I find they will put up with a bit more but will do distancing if the situation is not to their liking if the sun is in Libra. They like to keep their options open.
What they like most is sharing their interests with others. They like to be with one other person, especially Libra rising. Libra rising needs to find one partner that can help them through life. I have found this to be true. Someone they can trust.
Libra suns are sorta the same way and are even more likely to be in partnerships and have many friends because it's their soul's function and main focus. Libra suns tend to like a circle of friends and are more sociable, still they need a steady partner who will support their dreams.
I haven't noticed that Libra suns are attracted to the bad types. They like people who share their interests, that's number one.
I notice they are drawn to Gemini or people who are logical and informative. Gemini is social and can help the Libra sun network.
They tend to like Virgos too, if they share interests and are the Libra's type.

I'm a libra AC with Venus in 1st, Venus is the most dominant planet and ruler of my chart.

My DC is Aries and I've never been in a relationship with an aries because, just like you said...they are to ballsy and like trouble!
I can't deal with them, plus they usually don't hit me as intelligent because they lead with mars, it makes them seem unintelligent even if they are intellectually smart, emotionally they have little refinement and tend to embarrass me with their behavior!

I stick through thick n thin unless I see there is no value in hanging in there, like they don't appreciate my effort to be there and stick with them!

I can be alone just as easily as with someone, I don't know which I prefer...a good relationship I'm sure would trump being alone...but I haven't found that yet so I'll have to get back with you on it!! Lol

They so are, they are turned on by the rude aries attitude I believe I've seen both libra girls and boys who is attracted to aries sun
I think it's on a more physical level though… I'm virgo sun but with pisces moon in the last degree and sun conjunct mars, which gives me the aries trait and my moon is often opposite libra. I have venus in 5th house and 5th house in libra, so I attract libra-people like a magnet… and I'm not exactly the sociable, balancing type of girl

Libras will probably stay longer than other signs before they finally give up. They try but if someone isn't treating them right or there is a lot of unbalance, they will eventually leave and it won't be easy on the Libra because they don't want drama and the loss of a relationship will hurt them. If a Libra leaves, you know something was really wrong.

I really think that Libras only understand each other. The need for balance, the need for comfort within a relationship, the need to think about things all the time, the need to communicate what they are thinking, the need to not argue.

What I've read says yes. What I've seen says yes.
Of course anyone has a breaking point but libras will put up with a LOT - from what I've personally seen. But like I said, any sign is capable of either.

Most importantly though is that i think there are too many other factors to consider than to just say yes or no.

They might like the Aries sun because of the oppositions however most Aries suns are not rude. Quite the opposite. They are too the point and can bring order out of indecisive chaos.

They will if they love the person, have feelings or are just too afraid of the outcome of breaking things off with the person. We really give it our all before we've had enough and are over all of it. Libra is balance. We're avoidant and get over things quickly because we like to keep the peace. Our symbol is the scales for a reason. The whole opposites attract applies to everyone. I've known some Libras who like Aries and some who don't. We're all attracted to what we're attracted to.

I have sun, moon, mercury and rising in Libra. If anyone knows Libras it'd be me, I have the most here

@Barbie - I'm right behind you. I have Libra sun, moon, venus, mars and pluto but they are all in the 8th house. I think your Libra rising pushes you over the tipping point with being a Libra.

True that, I only got libra mercury and juno, but I really think this is so true. Especially libra venus people, they just seem to be the masters of relationship and can hardly do anything wrong:P

From what I've seen (my friends and my s.o) they will stay through thick and thin, as long as there is love n a sense of "partnership" - facing difficulties together. They won't stay if the other person treats them badly.

One of my libra friends has moon conj ascendant in sag, gem mars n when her partner lost pretty much everything n fell into a deep depression - she stayed, was emotionally supportive n worked her ass off to help him paying off debts.

And my relationship wasn't exactly peaceful n I'm not a person without problems, but nearly 5 years n here he is, as supportive as always.

Libras can put up with a lot because they have a fear of letting go but if you are abusive to Libra in any way, you can bet they are contemplating leaving and if you keep it up, one day, they will. A Libra can fall out of love when relatives dislike them, too. And if someone comes along who is cute and nice to Libra, it would be easy to just take them by the arm and head on out the door.
I don't know about people who are very, veryyyy Libran, perhaps the urge to stick together is stronger. Moderately Libra like myself can walk away from destruction and never look back.
The best way to keep a Libra with you is to be sweet and nice to them. The romantic gesture is very important to the Venusian.

It might only look like Libras are putting up with a lot but really what they are doing is planning their next move and their thoughts can run along the line of if things do not get better I am GONE.
Keep in mind Libras are accomplished, well versed strategists.

This is a loving, peaceable Venusian sign and they do not want bad people don't think that for one minute! What they want most is to be treated fairly and as equals. Libras are way too smart to fall for the "bad guy/gal" hustle unless it's some kind of fantasy role play. Always treat Libra with RESPECT.

--This is a great description of the Aries people that I know. None of my friends (who are Aries) like being around rude or obnoxious people. If anything, they become really sarcastic towards the rude people. They are also very good at analyzing a situation and helping you come to a conclusion.

Aww, I could never be abusive to a libra… that's like shooting myself in the foot and then cannot walk.
Their support is always the right kind of support that actually helps, so turning away from that would be very, very stupid!

SSS: libras staying because they dear letting go - lol idk I've seen my friends going through relationships where their exes thought that they were too sweet n meek to break up n started to take advantage of it. The walked right out n never looked back. They said to me that they could deal with unfortunate events, but they hated that their partners "betrayed their trust" by taking advantages of them n didn't have their best interest at heart.

I'm a bit behind you guys...Libra Pluto and Venus
on AC.....Venus is the ruling planet in my chart, it's energy is quite a bit stronger than any other energy in my chart! My Venus/Pluto is also expanded by Jupiter!
But I don't really enjoy the libra in me....it's not my preferred sign!
I have just as much saggy as libra, and I really wish I had some more earth to help ground me!!
My Virgo moon just doesn't have enough strength to balance all that mess!!

I wish sometimes that I had Libra Venus just so that all of the important planets were all the same lol. But I do enjoy my scorpio venus a lot and the fact that it's in the first. It's my dominant planet too and I feel it more than anything else.

I love your scorpio venus. It just wouldn't be quite the same without it. It's also in my first so that's awesome. I Love the obsession/intensity.

I'm jealous I would die for some water in my chart along with more earth! I have a gemini mars ....puke! Lol, all I want is to get my head out of the clouds!!

My only water is my scorpio Uranus!
I do have a large stellium in my 1st of very important asteroids, all in scorpio....sitting all on top of each other! It's a cluster duck!! Lol

Lol....wow! It's cool you guys love that intensity, I think it's hard to love that kind of intensity!
Pluto is sitting 2 degrees from my AC......Ive had a lot to deal with because of this and had to learn how to redirect the intensity so it wasnt destructive to me or others anymore!
