Yep. Sounds right.
Though I should point out two things. If I get angry I am NOT violent. Many times it still takes a lot to anger me. (Gemini moon?)
Finally, it's like anything else. It's an aspect that can be refined. Which is important. I'm nothing like when I was younger. (up to late teens maybe... It's hard to draw a line)

I like this aspect actually. I guess you can say I have a "no-nonsense" way of handling my emotions? I don't exactly get super mad and in a raging fit, but I'm quick to cease contact with someone if they hurt me or I feel like they are toying with me (Maybe my Leo moon pride?). It's rare that I actually raise my voice at anyone in anger though, If things get confrontational I just calmly and swiftly deliver my sting where it's least expected.

My mom also has an Aries moon so growing up with a "hot tempered" mom is true for me in relation to this aspect. In her younger days she was definitely a plate/any nearby object-throwing, and yelling type person lol.

I have the square as well and what you said also sounds about right. I'm not violent until pushed to that point. Like DeepFreeze it also takes a lot to get me upset. I get annoyed yes but it thanks to my libra everythang I get over it very quickly. 😊 Thanks to my water mars and venus I'm very passionate, nurturing and all woman. LOL

Uhh idk I'm sure I knew people with this aspect but the ones I've always noticed are the conjunctions.

Luminaries conjunct mars is usually like sure tell sign that I'll be into you.. because I love Martian energy.

Squares and trines operate at different levels, but the conjunction is just combining to two energies together.
They are beyond passionate and just have so much personal power and just fearless.

It's a lot easier for someone to own moon conjunct mars vs moon conjunct pluto.
Pluto conjunctions are always a bit dysfunctional because it's hard to own outer planets.
Mars is personal planet.

I have Moon tightly conjunct Mars in Libra.

I've struggled with a hot temper all my life, and I think I'm finally winning the battle.
Impulsive- yes
Passionate- yes

Also, don't mess with someone I love, bad bad things will happen to those who do. lol

The people that I feel most comfortable with has Moon square Mars, hot tempered, yes, but it's also good to let it out than hold grudge. My Mars in Aries loves a fair fight, and Moon square Sun needs to know where I'm stand.

I have Moon in Cancer square Mars in Libra. As I kid, I used to get angry easily but now, I guess I kind of worked with the aspect and I barely get mad at all. I also hate getting mad at something or someone because I feel like anger is a pointless emotion to have. I like to have peace and balance and I guess this is my Mars working out. Though I tend to hide my anger most of the time and when I do let it out, I admit, it's pretty explosive.

I have mars semi square Moon with moon also being square Pluto. I am capable of very bad things but I temper those bad things with vigorous exercise to the point I actually come across as melancholic and super docile. Mars is also semi square sun with sun square Pluto...Had I not had my mars and moon in Earth signs to keep me somewhat grounded I think I would probably be in jail or dead.

I have always said that the day I am no longer able to exercise to keep steam off I will end it all.

I have Moon conjunct Mars exactly!
When someone upsets me, I try to walk away. It takes a lot for me to get upset though I usually just brush it off. Violence only occurs when a person has pushed me too far and won't stop pushing me.
I too grew up with an Aries moon mom, need I say more.
It was like she was poking a sleeping bear and then decided to throw rocks at it after it was awake.
Other than that I am usually really calm.

Lol my mother has an Aries Moon as well (widely square a 1st house Mars to boot).
She's the only person who can make me lose my temper at the drop of a hat.

Like PiscesCancer said, other than that I'm usually calm.

I think I'm pretty controlled. Unless I feel really slighted.

Gemini Mars square Pisces moon.

I can freak out, but then I pay a heavy price of guilt. I experience this aspect as almost constant discomfort. Maybe it makes me easier to be around, though, since I am usually extra careful with my words.

PS To answer the question, I find it easy to feel passion and very challenging to communicate it.

I have the trine. I don't get angry often, but when I do.. you better wish it's not with you. I don't lose my cool on the outside (Moon sext Saturn), I'll be cool and collected when I bring you down, but inside I am boiling. I suppose I should mention Moon is in Sag, Mars in Aries. I have a lot of fire there.

I also think lust is a big part of the love game. If I'm not in lust with you, then why bother. We can stay just friends.

I have the conjunction.
I tend to get angry/upset fairly often, but I try to express my anger in appropriate ways without upsetting the others. Learning my triggers and understanding how certain things/events/people affect me have helped me avoid unnecessary aggravation.
I grew up with a fiery mother as well, but I always felt like I could be myself around her and I'm actually quite grateful for that. I guess when you're an Aries Sun/Merc you're barely phased by this conjunction. I noticed I gravitate towards people who have this aspect , the sq/opp or an Aries moon because I actually feel comfortable being myself around them and they're not really afraid of me.

My mom has Moon in scorpio square Mars in Leo.

She's quite volatile only when slighted..
But it's easy just to not annoy her, that's what everyone does.
Just tip-toe around her. YES MOTHER DEAREST

With aspects like squares trines they show like dimensions of personality.

It does not over take everything.
This is why people with little to no conjunctions are usually more balanced.

but I just love the conjunctions with Mars.
i think it's my Venus conjunctions, really.
