Topic: Does your 7th house accurately describe your spouse or long term friendships?

I am curious to know if the 7th house cusp, its ruler and any aspects it makes actually describes your partners personality. Since the 7th house is also the house of long term friendships, does it describe your close friends personality?

Not for me. My seventh house is Sagittarius (with moon placed there) & most of my friends are Earth/Water sun signs, with Fire/Air moons. I do get along fabulously with Sagittarians, however.------------------

I think for me, partnerships are ruled by my 12th and 7th house fell into a void somewhere!
What depicts non existent or void? My 7th house is aries with Jupiter in it non the less?? So, Definitely would say no...my 7th house is nothing like my partner, he's a ghost! Oh, well maybe he's in my 8th house?IP: Logged |

Yes for me. I have a sag descendant also, and jupiter in my 5th conjunct my vertex in Scorpio. My husbands venus conjuncts my jupiter/vertex. I have moon in cap at the end of my 7th house; my husband is a cancer rising, moon in Aries conjunct his MC, and he has a stellium in the 4th. I also have neptune in my 7th, and my husband is a virgo sun. My husband fits my whole chart in general. I attract less the sign on my descendant, and more the sign of my descendant ruler, and the people with charts that resonate with the planets in my 7th. I've always attracted more Scorpio, capricorn, and cancer by sign, or people with 4th house stelliums, guys with jupiter or mercury conjunct their moon, venus or the ruler of their descendant, guys with prominent moons, and lots of aries moons. Two guys who were really into me, born only days apart, had Scorpio sun/venus/mercury/jupiter and cap mars conjunct my moon. Another two were cap suns with venus in sag conjunct neptune, and mars in gem conjunct my sun/ascendant. As for what I'm attracted to, usually combinations of sun, moon, and ascendant in Scorpio, capricorn, and Pisces, and moon in gemini. Of my two closest friends, one is a Scorpio rising with his ascendant/NN conjunct my jupiter vertex, sag sun, Pisces moon; the other is a Pisces sun. IP: Logged |

I think both Juno and the 7th describe my friendships pretty acurately. I have Juno in Aries, and all my long term friendships have been with athletes, my 7th however is in Aquarius, so most of them were aloof and diplomatic. I have Saturn and Lilith in the 7th, which matches perfectly with how stern and authoritative my friends all were.
As for Lilith, we would have very Pluto/Saturn type interactions which always ended up in me literally escaping in the end. All I can hope is that I'll learn my lesson through those failed friendships and hopefully won't step on the same rake in an intimate relationship :/IP: Logged |

I am not attracted to my 7th house per se, but to my 7th house ruler. though my relationships need to have a little of that Gemini-quality. A relationship without talking, playfully teasing each other, having fun, bouncing ideas?
Gosh, how boring!
But as a type I go for the Sag/Cap-mix or Jupiter/Saturn, which is like a summary of my relationship houses (7th is not the only one).
With Saturn in 8th and the ruler of 5th house in Capricorn, there is no way I could ever be satisfied with someone who is ONLY Peter Pan.
has to be some consistency there, too. Freedom AND Security - yes, I want it all

I have my Sun & NN in the 7th - both in Aries too! I admire Arian Men. But I rarely choose them for serious relationships. My romantic desires are dominated by my Venus (Taurus) in the 8th. Absolutely dominates me! I'm much more attracted to males with Water/Earth influences over a ton of Fire placements. As for friendship...I'm all over the board. No one element really dominates. Allmost all my crushes and boyfriends are Caps or Cancers. No planets in these signs. These signs rule 3d/9th houses... And these house rulers both sit in the 10th.

It fits perfectly for me.
I attract older talkative partners that don't like marriage and don't want to get married. 7th ruler is "Mercury in Libra Rx" in the 10th. Mercury=They say

Please don't mind me being a newflake  My 7th house falls in Sag, mostly and the ruler, Jupiter, is in scorpio, 6th house. one of my close friends is a sag. She's got a sag stellium, mars, venus, sun, mercury, all in sag. With that scorpio, her pluto square her asc and widely conjunct her mc. Another one also has a stellium in 9th house, along with other pluto's hard aspects. However, They are both saturnian aswell. I don't know if it's because of my Jupiter trine saturn thing... Mine does - also a Sag 7th houser.It's in different ways though. All my friends are intuitive, dreamers, good with directions and they give me my space, and loyal. They all love helping people in some way or another. They're also all very sensitive emotionally (Jupiter falls in the 9th house in Taurus, and Cancer rules my 2nd house.) (example: one friend is a lawyer now…very Sag but he's a Cancer Sun. Another worked at a women's shelter and is a special ed teacher. My other friend likes to be needed and for people to depend on her.) Most of my friendships last for years and the ones that don't I blame on my Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune also in the 7th house. As far as dates go … I could relate them all to a Sag DSC. They were idealistic, they lived far away, some were immature, some were younger than me. IP: Logged |

Gemini on the 7th house!. I love when I meet a great conversationalist. A person that can move from one subject to another. The person doesn't need to have extensive knowledge in every subject but just a little interest. My 7th lord sits in Aquarius 3rd house. Knowledgeable and probably shares a lot of hobbies with me. I am a Capricorn Descendant.Im not attracted to capricorn men but young and old capricorn women seem to be in my life alot. Wherever i go i always meet one.
I usually attract intense relationships with scorpio men. My 5th house is in scorpio.
