Will become mainstream in the future?
I mean, now, not all the people is interested in astrology, and don't believe it, but I think eventually, all people will feel attract towards astrology, because to me, this science has so much awakening potential and is definitely awesome to discover yourself. Idk.IP: Logged |

I doubt it. In fact I worry that the opposite will happen. People are becoming more and more closed up towards anything more spiritual that science hasn't been able to explain so far. If the majority is turning its back on mainstream mysticism like the world religions I think they will definitely reject the occult which has always been the underdog even in spiritual times.Unless there is some kind of scientific breakthrough in favor of the validity of astrology I think people will continue to give it a dirty look. Hahaha Secret weapon! I like how Astrology is so misunderstood by the public, it makes me unique compared to my friends for having this as a hobby. Then again I also wish more people knew about it so I could just find someones chart and be set up with them or atleast make friends based on our charts alone. ------------------

We're in the age of Aquarius now which will be a time of new technological inventions and scientific breakthroughs. People will be continually convinced by Science quicker than they will be by astrology and stuff. I mean, I say that, but when we moved into it Dec 2012, all the spiritual peoples were going on about it being a time of enlightenment as people begin to discover their spiritual side more and more. But...Idk...I think Science and Spirituality actually go hand in hand more than we think. In our minds we've separated them too much. So maybe, actually it will go mainstream if something science-y and justifiable gives evidence of some planetary influence. Maybe it'll all come together at some point, but it depends how long this age lasts and what NASA are up to :P IP: Logged |

I know, but I dont like how people makes astrology to be satanic and stuff. Just today in my religion class the subject was "New Age" and basically they were saying that is all of the Aquarious era, and that it makes you a person without fear and guilt, you leave God and all that stuff and astrology is satanic.7.7
While I do believe in God, i don't consider myself to be new age, but i do believe in astrology, in chakras and spirituality, and in my class people still are not accepting of astrology but i do see others taking interest in it, so they asked me but when i started explaining they just dont care anymore and forget. I think as we move deeper into the Aquarian age astrology will start be viewed more as a science and accepted within society. Me and a few people i know have just started using the physical planets, there orbits and atmosphere in the chart to summarize what they mean and it works nicely.IP: Logged |
