In all honesty, having just ended a relationship with one, pardon me, an engagement, I don't understand why women across the world fuss about this sign anyways. They're not as passionate as their reputation, heck a fire sign is ten times more passionate, they put you through loads of cr*p, neverending silences and mind games, and for what? A blank stare and some innuendo. Sheesh. IP: Logged |

Well... I was going to say that Scorpios will test sometimes you. They will either ice you out so they can chase you back or they will ice you out to see if you are willing to stick with them and chase them back. The problem is it's difficult to know the difference. Personally, I can't deal with games so.... quote: Originally posted by Dancing Maenad: In all honesty, having just ended a relationship with one, pardon me, an engagement, I don't understand why women across the world fuss about this sign anyways. I think it's the scorpio sexuality that is intriguing to most women.I agree that fire signs are far more passionate in the long run. Scorpio men are good at seduction and just smoldering but relationships always seem awkward for them from what I noticed. I guess because after courtship you can't play the same game it's stale. Actually as a general rule in a break up, it's always best to go no-contact if you're the one being dumped. It could be the man/woman in question could just need some space, so it's best to just give them that. I mean you could use the time as the "dumpee" to heal, work on yourself or hey find somebody new all together if you're over it. You know the cliche "absence makes the heart grow fonder" it's actually pretty true in most cases. Plus for me it's just a pride thing lol..even if you're telling me I suck as a person and you hate me I at least still have my dignity and didn't chase after someone who didn't want me. quote: Originally posted by Dancing Maenad: In all honesty, having just ended a relationship with one, pardon me, an engagement, I don't understand why women across the world fuss about this sign anyways. And thus the reason for the smoke and mirrors...they don't want people to know what you just figured out here for yourself. Congratulations!! lol

Thank you! I can be plutonic but am a fire sun sign. I've always said this. I found them very boring. IP: Logged |

You don't break up with a Scorpio, a scorpio breaks up with you, and even if you do try and breakup, prepare to suffer abit of Stockholm syndrome - because in all honesty you kind of need and want them. IP: Logged |

My point was, why would you subject yourself to a life of second-guessing yourself, tip-toeing around his precious ego, constantly having to prove and explain yourself over every single thing while he does and goes as he pleases, withdraws affection on whims and will NEVER trust you completely despite all your efforts? Think about that while you're pulling your hair out waiting for 2 minutes of his attention. IP: Logged |

Dont mean to pry, but what happened between the two of you? How long were you together? What was the synastry/composite like? So, you're saying all this crap continues forever with a Scorp?? Yeesh!! IP: Logged |

You need more than just the Sun to stereotype someone anyway haha, The ascendant, Sun and Moon as a combination perhaps.IP: Logged |

I totally agree with that, but was just wondering if this was a typical "Scorp" thing. My guy has Sun/Venus/Pluto conjunct in Scorp LOL with Cappy Moon and Ascendant.. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.. IP: Logged |

Right..which leads to me to believe that there is a small possibility that if I were to contact him he *may* respond..But for now I'm trying to be strong and keep things the way they are. Plus if I wanted to use my key as an excuse to see him I can just say I really need it back..unless he threw it away hahaha..but nope I bet it's still on it's key ring with his other keys..honestly I don't think we're done with each other yet..but he needs to do what he needs to and so do I..but I would like to be friends later on down the line. To those that have or know scorps with cancer moons, I've heard that cancer moons are pretty manipulative in general so yea we're getting it doubly with the mind games and manipulation. Cool part about dealing with so many scorp men through the years is I can see and smell their game from a mile away..so I can either choose to play or do like I did in this last situation and chuck the deuces. Personally this is the first cancer moon I've met. I'm a cancer sun/mercury and venus person myself but I can't relate too much to the moon placement, at least not yet... Did you find your guy guarded? I think the cancer moon here would also side step situations or be passive aggressive and then the Scorpio placements are always seeming to be just about to burst at the seams (even if they do not show it) As a sensitive cancer myself I don't like the guessing. I've just learned to read more from his actions than words bc he's super shy and when he's not being shy he's typically sarcastic Have you thought about requesting a reading on the personal readings board? There are tons of people who do free readings including myself I realize some aren't into that Wish you luck though and stay in touch IP: Logged |

If they break up with you then usually it's ice you out. OTOH, if you break up with them then it's a whole different ballgame, and if there is any legal proceedings to follow make damn sure you have a good lawyer and expect it to get petty and dirty (for example, getting a restraining order against you and then doing everything to provoke you into breaking it, including stalking and then reporting it to the police as you stalking him or her which will then be used against you in the proceedings, and if you spend some time in jail and perhaps lose your job or valued property then so much the better). I wish I knew the details of my dad's chart...I suspect there's some Scorpio there but I don't know for sure. My Scorpio mom sure had her revenge against him (good thing her drunken attempt at just using the shotgun on him didn't work) but after she took his beloved Mustang (and bragged "just so he couldn't have it" including to him) he sabotaged the brake pad, almost got me and Mom both killed. Though upset over it, I think Mommy Scorpio was grudgingly impressed that he both did it and got away with it. That's the negative manifestation. I'm sure the evolved Scorpios wouldn't stoop to that level, they'd just ice you out (or at least become distant) even if you were the one to initiate the breakup. IP: Logged |

I'd say he was pretty guarded and could be pretty passive aggressive. But this man also has Sun, Mercury, Saturn AND Pluto just chillen in his 12th house...so he has issues anyway that I could never help him with. IP: Logged |

Exaggeration, of course. But yeah, breakups tend to be pretty obvious. It's like mastering the cold shoulder. I'll admit, I still feel possessive over exes from years ago. IP: Logged |

You can't. Well, I can't. Maybe some people are better at the game than I am. I'm a Sag. I like things clear and straightforward. Having said that I have Scorpio influence and I can be ice cold too. But that's generally when I'm done. When I'm done, I'm done. Don't bother getting in touch. It takes a looooooot to get me to that point. So at that point you've reeeeally worn out your welcome. I can also test people. Sort of push their buttons to see if they will stick around. But not nearly to the point of a Scorp sun. Honestly, I try to be open, but I'm learning that people with lots of water are just not for me. They (literally) drive me insane! quote: Originally posted by Dancing Maenad: My point was, why would you subject yourself to a life of second-guessing yourself, tip-toeing around his precious ego, constantly having to prove and explain yourself over every single thing while he does and goes as he pleases, withdraws affection on whims and will NEVER trust you completely despite all your efforts? I wouldn't. He's a grown up. He should know that it takes two to tango in a relationship. IP: Logged |

Hi I was with aries sun, scorpio moon and mars. Oh boy did he ICE me out both times we broke up (him dumping me,then him being unfaithful). That was 2011, it is now 2014 and he was contacting me last week to see me! No clue what he wants, power play perhaps.
