Definitely true about that with guys. I think it's better when people are fine and comfortable with being independent on their own before they enter a relationship.

I don't do all the crying though (ok over this recent guy in private I did get all theatrical leg kicking in my bed - I blame my leo moon ) but I do start doing things to basically seem like I'm not affected. I think initially libra Venus can be clingy but once we get comfy and trust that our relationship is stable we tend to let go and want to go back to doing our own things more.
Even if you are clingy at first, I'm sure your worth it!! Ppl just need to give us the chance and allow us to feel safe and established in the relationship, then we lighten up a lot.

I do believe we (Libra Venus influenced people) are relationship oriented; But we have come to a realization in life that a lot of people know in their hearts to be true but still struggle to accept it. And that is "No man (or woman) is an Island." You can only evolve through learning and gaining valuable experiences through a shared journey; May it be in a professional sense or a practical one. That has been the core modus oprendai behind every given successful civilization.

As a Married Man, I can tell you that there is no greater treasure in this world than the experiences (both good and the bad) that I share with my wife. Her presence is a blessing beyond any other and I can't never be too thankful for her.

Besides, I believe that this saying applies perfectly to all Libra/Leo influenced couples out there :

Other than that I'm not very relationship-oriented. In fact I feel awkward with one-on-one interactions most of the time, that's why I tend to avoid them IRL.
I am more concerned with my relationship with myself and the world at large.

However that's definitely not a Libra Venus thing. That's something else in my chart.

Generally speaking usually personal Libra placements are relationship-oriented. Sun, Moon, ASC, Venus, Mars.
