Topic: Is it possible for a Libra Venus to NOT be relationship oriented?

Am I the only person with a Libra Venus who pretty much ALWAYS finds themselves preoccupied with all things concerning romantic relationships? It's like no matter what I'm always either thinking about some past relationship, daydreaming about a possible relationship, looking at cute guys, flirting, etc. Like, why can't I just be one of those girls who barely gives a crap about the opposite sex and are more focused on other things?! It's. So. Annoying. It's not that I can't live without being in a relationship (not hard at all for me) but I can't for the life of me take my mind off of relationships :l. Anyone else identify with this or is it just me lol? IP: Logged |

I have Libra Venus and I am usually always interested in someone but I am not always in a relationship. I have a lot of other things that cause problems such as Saturn in 7th and a few aspects that make me really independent but I almost always have a crush on someone. I have trouble with relationships though. I am not the type of person to stick around with a guy if I am not treated well. IP: Logged |

LOL actually two of my libra venus friends are really needy drunks..I found this to be interesting!
Always trying to be intimate with someone.. and texting suitors.
They always end up hooking up and they have this weird they're sort of dating but NOT really because he is gay but their both single and alone situation. One is a virgo and the other is a libra sun. The libra actually told me how needy he is when I caught him snap chatting dick pics for his crushes LOL. IP: Logged |

Same here! I've been single for a while (and I'm okay with it) but even STILL I find myself crushing on people and noticing them in the blink of an eye. And my 7th house isn't the best either lol, I have Capricorn Dsc with Uranus and Neptune in my 7th (yay)  .
Just today at my new job, there's this guy who started flirting with me and being playful and stuff and on my way home I had to stop my mind from getting all preoccupied with him. Like can my brain not? Ugh.

Mannnn the struggle with this aspect in regards to relationships is so real. Like, even though I'm trying to get over this one guy, I got bored and downloaded this dating/rating app and *told* myself I wouldn't message anyone because I'm not interested and lo' and behold I started messaging this one guy back and now he wants a date this weekend but I'm honestly not even interested (I ended up deleting the app though).
But like why do I do this to myself lol? I think my Virgo Sun "tries" to be rational and not be so boy crazy but overall it never stops. IP: Logged |

Know two Venus in Libra who don’t give a crap. Both have Sun in Scorpio. Both have Venus square Uranus and Neptune, maybe they’re too busy in their own worlds ?? Both have crush on celebs and that’s as far as it goes. Both are hot.IP: Logged |

My virgo friend she is boy crazy but she's less obvious about it.But YES the struggle is very real for her.. I feel like in America society is very relationship oriented.
So yes it does not help. I'm sure Japanese Librans secretly desire a lover and cry for their lonely heart in the bath but they don't really make a fuss since it's not a big deal anyways. IP: Logged |

Yeah I'm not really obvious lol, my friends all think I have "everything in check" since I'm quick to cutt off ties with someone and act like I'm all independent doing my own things. Nahh you're fine lol, I didn't know the man personally even though I actually had it on my bucket list to meet him one day  .
At first I honestly didn't believe it. Like, I literally googled it to make sure it was true when I first seen a post about it on twitter. I literally felt so devastated I went to bed early after I told my mom lol. But, again I didn't really know him or anything. I still feel a little sad when seeing pictures of him though cuz it's always like "dang... he's dead" yano?

I have Libra venus in the 7H. I am relationship oriented, however with it squaring Uranus the feeling comes and goes rather quickly. One second I think I'm in love with a guy, the next I could care less if I ever see him again. My longest crush has his Venus conjunct my Venus. Not going to lie still crushing on him till this day, but the feeling of being in a relationship with him has long-faded. I have been single my whole life, and it wouldn't kill me if it stayed that way. However, like most girls i have my moments of weakness, but as I get older I learn how to not let it take over my life. IP: Logged |

I'm very romantic relationship-oriented as well.My other focus is is my intellect and skills, though. I don't think I personally know a Libra Venus, now that I think about it. So I cannot share my observation of them. Don't worry, though. As it sets you apart because most people do not seem to care about it much, if really at all. (well, at least in my observation with people)
When a guy you like has the same focus and importance of it as you, he would admire that in you, and you two should be really happy together. Much happier than some detached relationship between two people who do not care for romance much  IP: Logged |

I'm a libra Venus/Pluto/AC.... I gave up on love a few years ago, it feels better not to care than it does to obsess over a relationship with someone who takes you for granted.
Plus guys obsess over you when you really don't care if they call or not, or you forget to call them/text them back because your to busy doing your own stuff.......they are the ones that start acting stupid, emotional and irrational!
I do miss the overflow of love and emotions I used to have...but now I just want my independence and freedom. Definitely not just you or just Libra Venus. That said, I have a Libra Venus and I don't obsess on it like that. Though I MUST have friendships...I've contemplated one day becoming a hermit for maybe a year, but if I did I think I'd at least have to have an animal companion. They keep it a secret. Though for what it's worth nearly all of my Libra placements are right on the Scorpio cusp (with a couple of placements all the way Scorpio). The only exception is Venus, and even that's pretty close to Scorpio. IP: Logged |

My cousin is a scorp sun, libra venus and she isn't crazy about relationships. She's happy on her own, she's happy when she's in a relationship. Meh, not being with someone doesn't bother her. She can take it or leave it. It's like... she runs her life on a schedule, when there's someone new she'd make room for him. When he's out of her life then it would just be "back to normal". 34 and has only been in 2 relationships. She's picky though, has a long list of must-have traits. IP: Logged |
