Actually, I only have old gen consoles haha... they are mainly for the younger boy. I should get a Xbox One, but I don't have a heck a lot of time. And my skills have gone to pot out of a lack of decent gaming time. About 5-8 years ago, I was gaming a whole lot and actually moved up the CoD online ladders to the mid ranks.

I don't know about Titanfall, but here's some exiting news for some of you gamers out-there (especially Capricorns), as in - "Goat simulator" - was finally scheduled for release and that will take place real soon (on 1'st april) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvWGLcdI8o8 - Now that's some exciting news to look forward to. And, i know what some of you are thinking (GTA fans in particular): "OMG! I WAS BORN TO PLAY THIS GAME! THAT'S ONE OF MY LIFE's PURPOSES! Must have "Goat simulator - NOW!" Well, that might be true - but won't be long now, so - try to bare with the wait a little longer. It's just around the corner.

Taurus Sun, Virgo Moon, Scorpio ASC.

I've always had Games Consoles and Video Games since 1998 (when my parents brought a PlayStation 1).
I've still got all of my consoles (PlayStation 1 & 2, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and a variety of handheld stuff Nintendo DS, PSP and Gameboy Advance SP)

I just play games for fun until 2009 where I used to gaming for hours everyday, playing Halo 3, Fifa 09, Call of Duty WAW and Gears of War 2. This carried on until 2012 where I used to just play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and 3.

Ever since Saturn entered my 1st house in October 2012, i've rarely played video games, I only play Fifa 13 once a week for about 30 minutes, and then GTA 4 or GTA 5 with my 2 friends once or twice during the breaks across the year.

Saturn has told me 'Games are a waste of time', because I always feel I should be doing something else instead.

Life story over!

Here is something for you all gamers out there:

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/97838-Department-of-Defense-Research-Gamers-Are-20-Smarter

quote:
Ray Perez, a doctor of educational psychology, is a program officer at the Office of Naval Research's warfighter performance department and has been studying the effects that playing videogames has on the training of men in the armed forces. Conventional wisdom held that once an individual reached 20 years of age, their brain stopped developing and their intelligence ceased growing. Perez's research suggests that playing videogames can increase someone's "fluid intelligence," or the ability to think outside the box, regardless of a person's age.

"We have discovered that video game players perform 10 to 20 percent higher in terms of perceptual and cognitive ability than normal people that are non-game players," Perez said. "We know that video games can increase perceptual abilities and short-term memory." His research suggests that gamers focus longer and the field of vision for gamers is larger compared to non-gamers.

1. Skyrim, this game is creative genius, and I will never get tired of it.
2. GTA, esp. San Andreas. I love flying all of the aircraft in this one, starting fights and riots, beating the cops (esp. with the shovel and golf club), hand-to-hand combat, setting fires, and causing major pile-ups on the highways. Just generally making a mess.
3. Hitman (esp. SA and Blood Money)

Man, it's hard to pick just 3!

There's Mortal Kombat, and yeah, I esp. love the Flight Sims too (MSFS, Ace Combat, etc.). I used to love Tomb Raider before it was ruined...I also love SSx. I also used to enjoy the war games like SOCOM, Medal of Honor, and Call of Duty.

This used to be my favourite game, and I was looking for a way to play it on my current computer. You need to modify something, in order to run it now.

My cappy/pisces/pisces sister got me into it. We played it together.

I now play Fortnite, Among Us, Goose Goose Duck, and I have a lot of games I have yet to play, that I got for free, from epic games, or steam. I need a new computer first, and also need to get a controller for some of them.

Fortnite has a user-made version of phasmophobia, called phantom investigation.

I’m Aries, Gemini, Scorpio.

My very first console was Ps1. I played Syphonfilter, Tony Hawk pro-skater, some snowboarding game, and an NBA Live.. can't remember the year.

Then I had the first Xbox and I played Shrek mainly on that one..

Nowadays? Ps4 (finally getting a ps5 soon). RDR2 GTA Battlefield 42 God Of War. A little COD when I'm extremely bored.

PCs seem like a better investment overall. You get work at home equipment, a gaming console, a music studio, and dvd/ bluray player all in one.

Ooohh my kind of topic

Big three:
ASC Sag
Sun Pisces 4h
Moon Leo 9h

Plus+
Pisces Venus in 5h Aries

If I don't play games I watch others play instead. I loved going into another world and getting submerged in the story, the art, etc.

My first console was technically the tamagotchi, then the ds then playstation ( I played spyro, kingdom of hearts, and that Chinese war game idk the name, mostly watched my brother play though)

I always enjoyed different games but never finish them completely.

my choices: basically everything besides shooters/fighting, horror or subscription 😂

1. RPGs , top favourite being Dragon age series. It was so immersive for me that I felt emotionally attached for a time. Also first series I actually completed, was that fun.(Pc)

2. Simulations like; Harvest moon and rune factory being the most loved as it was my childhood. Second being final fantasy.(console)

3. GW2
beats all the MMOs I've played so far
For its world building, story and Immersion. Though my guild was a ghost town and I didn't communicate with others much, I still felt the sense of community which is one of the top things that make me stay or come back in an online game.

And here we are 10 years later.

So this should tickle every gamer's fancy. Me and a couple of friends were invited by the Manager of Hotel X in Toronto (a good friend of ours) to experience their newest exhibit / Bar / Arcade at their joint. Its appropriately dubbed "Retro Arcade" and it contains all the goodies from a bygone era (from a more... Civilized time as they say.)

A Bar which doubles as an arcade which doubles as a gallery. All my big three my Mercury in Virgo and Mars in Sagittarius were thoroughly satisfied.

Oh look... a sign that I have to be here:

For this occasion, the good old Leather Jacket comes out:

Ah yes... Dance Dance Revolution... Or as I like to call it, the "Humiliation Simulator."

I think Halo was free on Steam, but I didn't download, because my computer isn't doing so well.

I forgot to mention Fornite Festival. I've been playing it again, trying to distract myself from anxiety that really hit me again. There's also fortnite lego, like Minecraft, but I haven't tried that since it began in December.

Unfortunately for me personally these days, gaming has become more of a social activity rather than a solo hobby . Just too many projects, too many responsibilities and too many things in general going on to devote the necessary time to enjoy a good game.

The last game that I completed and immensely enjoyed (Despite its messy Bug riddled Launch) was Cyberpunk 2077:

http://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Cyberpunk_Wiki

I am a huge fan of the cyberpunk literary genre and to have a game completely centered around the key aspects of said genre was a feast for the eyes.

I mean, just look at this! (And this is a screenshot I took from the actual Gameplay environment BTW. This was not from a cutscene.)

A little video highlighting a small drive through the city.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0PGqVkZDR0

The world CDPR created is truly magnificent. Being the 80s kid that I am, playing this game is like interacting with your favourite 80s/90s Cyberpunk based movie. When you throw things like government regulation on size, constraints, clear marking of roads and development plans out the window and just allow everyone to do as they please, you get a winding confusing congested mess of an environment that grows "organically" rather than something that has form and structure. A good real world example of this issue can be seen in Areas like the former Kawloon City in Hong Kong and Osaka in Japan where allowing Feudalistic "tradition" of building where you please has now left the Road System there a complete nightmare.

The atmosphere and design of the city is one of the factors that got me hooked on the game. For someone who grew up watching Cyberpunk themed shows like Ghost in the Shell, Akira, and Gall Force, the Architecture in the game speaks to me and tells a vivid story.

Highly recommend this game. But be warned... You don't get happy endings in this game. Best you can hope for is a bitter sweet one. If you aren't feeling in the right state of mind, this game might not be for you.

the thing with halo is they destroyed the multiplayer by introducing things like labeling the weapons on the map and introducing various classes post reach so i miss the pvp prior to that specifically. can't do minecraft or games like it i get bored

I installed a fallout game, but forgot about it. I didn’t even start it yet.

I tried a story game, oxenfree? But couldn’t get very far, because I was too antsy. I have a lot of free games from epic, but have hardly tried any of them.

It’s good to see you, by the way.

couldn't get into fallout, open world sandbox stuff makes me instantly bored. so much to do with zero motivation to do any of it. i've been playing deathsmiles, good phone port of it. other than that i havent played anything. never heard of oxenfree, deathsmiles is great though. always good to see you too. 🥰💕
