There was a similar thread on a topic a while back but if I am not mistaken, it was focused on the person's 5th house and asked as to what type of activities people were interested in.

Well now I am asking a more specific question directed at gamers.

What are you big three placements (Sun, Asc. and Moon) and what are your fav. VG titles?

My response to the topic is pretty much the same as the previous thread.

My Big Three:

Leo Asc.
Libra Sun.
Leo Moon.

quote:
Both me and my wife love VGs! To me, the interactive quality of this media is right on par with movies. I would actually argue that VGs are better than movies since the interactivity of this genre is outstanding and it allows the player to truly immerse him/herself in the role of the protagonist.

I don't have one particular fav. I have a fav. in each and every given VG genre.

However, there are a few series I find myself getting immersed in way too often because of their amazing storylines and beautiful gameplay.

Platformer/Action-Adventure: The Assassin's Creed series.

I LOVE this series! The storyline is outstanding and sooo immersive! And the characters are so unique and complex! The fact that it uses real historical events and settings within the gameplay frame makes it all the more appealing to me (I am a huge history buff Lol!)

If you haven't played the Assassin's Creed game, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! PLAY THEM!

RTS/Strategy game: Starcraft 2.

I am a huge RTS buff and to me, a well made RTS game shimmers with the elegance and calculative imagination of Chess. Hence why I am a huge fan of Starcraft. The strategy limitations are just about as much as your mind's limitations. If you want to develop your quick-thinking and problem solving skills, I suggest you play this game .

Tactical Story Driven Action/Adventure: Metal Gear Solid series.

Possibly the BEST gaming series ever made! The immersive storyline, The complex plot and twists, the Amazingly deep and intriguing characters... Oh there is just so much I can go and on about when it comes to this series!

- The story line was absolutely phenominal. The game never focused on one character alone. There is no definate good or bad in the game. Even the bad guys had heart wrenching stories about their past (Sniper Wolf has to be the most heart felt antagonist to greet any game.) Even the side characters like Grey Fox (My Personal Fav.) had qualitites and characteristics about his that made him an admirable friend/foe.

- The game play is just brilliant. The Sneaking, the strategizing, the methodical infiltration... It just can't be beat. This game isn't your conventional RPG; Its a whhooole lot more. The camera angles and the stealth aspect of the game was a wonderful input which later on inspired the Splinter Cell series.

- MGS female characters (Most of them anyway) broke away from the usual cliche of Bimbos in clad strappings or girly girls. They gave something more to the game that just a set of knockers.

All in all the game series was wayyy ahead of its time.

I also want to add a recent addition to my fav. list:

TITANFALL!

The game mechanics for this Sci-Fi based shooter aren't anything new but boy oh boy is it fun and exhilarating! The best part of the game is the integrated Multiplayer Campaign Mode; Especially in Attrition Mode. Facing actual people as compared to AI is just so much better since you ALWAYS have to bring your A Game.

Add to that the fact that you can now call upon giant Robots to pilot and help you fight and you have a real good game!

Cool! The Sims series, GTA: Vice City, Medal of Honor (online only). Also Call of Duty but to a lesser extent (again, online only). I'll probably try out The Sims 4 when it comes out, I'm curious how they're gonna develop it. And to be honest, sometimes I miss the adrenaline kick shooter games tend to give so I might go back to slaying folks on the net someday

Ohhh I love video games, right now I'm all about Shadow of the Colossus, absolutely amazingly game with such an emotional story line to it. I'm not sure if I can pick 3 games I like above all others though, Super Mario Sunshine is a lot of fun and so is Katamari Damacy. I also enjoy indie PC games like Yume Nikki.

Aries Sun, (Venus, Mars, Mercury)
Virgo Moon
Sag Asc

He is scary intelligent but sadly has become paranoid in real life and sees everything like a game of chess..

I used to play games, not as much though now.

Sag sun
Virgo moon
Libra asc

The best and favourite games I've played:

World of Warcraft - online mmorpg. Huge community, appealed to my 3rd house stellium. Beautiful artworks and immersive.

Tomb raider - both old and new, the early ones used to scare the crap out of me as a kid.

Spyro the dragon - another childhood favourite, it just gives me a lot of nostalgia.

Hahaha...

I'm a Gamer of a different Genre. I own older consoles (PS3 and Wii) but my home is a PC gaming environment. My Mrs. is pretty good too. She used to belong to a Counter Strike girl clan.

MS Flight Sim X, Gran Turismo 6, Activision COD Ghosts, EA BF4, Ubisoft Ghost Recon, EA MoH, EA Crysis 3, GTA V...

I'm more into PC hardware geekiness than anything else... Too much of my money goes to Intel, Corsair, EVGA and Asus. But I started with all the classics: Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, Doom, Quake, Unreal, Half Life, FEAR, NFS, etc.

Pisces, Capricorn, Gemini.
