6th house, Saturn in 6th... All cadent houses can cause depression, but any house can be culprit if it's under stress or too many planets are using it. Stelliums can cause stress because transits are more activated.There is many types of depression, so not all depression depends on the same energy factors. Most charts have aspects that help alleviate or support planets. But a Moon with no planets on either side, all alone can cause depression or emotional upset. The Moon needs other planets for support, it doesn't do well when it's by itself or aspecting harsh planets.

Because of my line of work I can say the following so far:mood swings- an afflicted moon Bipolar- Moon/saturn aspects combined with moon/uranus aspects. Whether schizophrenia or bipolar an afflicted pluto and moon seems to be present. Severe mental illness: Chiron in the 12th or Neptune in the 12th with A LOT of oppositions all over the chart, and an afflicted moon and or afflicted pluto. IP: Logged |
