I would say that I do relate to Gemini because, in high school, I had this girl who had her Moon in Gemini and we could not stop talking to each other.

I tend to be quite conversational and open to dialogue when meeting new people. I love the prospect of meeting someone interesting, eloquent and well-read.

I also find it difficult to just stay in one place/job for too long. I feel like there is so much more that I haven't seen yet and love the idea of exploration.

I have mine in 4H. And yes, I do relate more to Cancer some days, but I can easily point out the Leo influence on her.

Obviously the sign is important. The house is more important.

I know you knew this, but the two aren't in competition really, they're complementary to each other. Moon sign is HOW the Moon expresses itself. Moon house is WHERE & with whom the Moon is most comfortable expressing itself. Aspects to the moon show the different experiences the moon is likely to have.

Funny I stumbled upon this topic, because not until reading about my 3rd house Moon did I realize how pin-point accurate astrology can be. Specifically, I was reading Howard Sasportas' description of Moon in the 3rd - wow!! it was SO accurate for me.

quote:
I feel the house is more important than the sign. How emotional are you and DO YOU FEEL you RELATE to the natural ruler of that house?

Sag Moon in the 3rd, and I AM a Gemini. However, I don't feel like a Gemini Moon. I do relate strongly to 3rd house things - siblings, cousins, neighbors, writing...

Am I emotional?? I have Pluto in the 1st, so I have an intense and emotional approach to life. I would like to think I hide this pretty well from people, but there's no way of knowing how much is hidden, or not.

My 3rd house is Scorpio/Sagittarius, with Pluto in Libra. Regarding 3rd house people; these are the signs (Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius) I have the easiest time relating, and take an instant liking to. Or any combo of the three.

I have Moon in the 11th House (Gemini), with my 11th House Cusp in Gemini.

I am not very emotional, but when I am emotional, it is very intense emotions because I have Moon quincunx Pluto, and a Scorpio Pluto in the 4th House. Scorpio is my 4th House Cusp as well.
I also have a Scorpio Mars, but it's in the 3rd House.

I would say that I relate to an Aquarius Moon a lot, but I also have Moon quincunx Uranus, so this and maybe even my Moon being in Aquarius's Decan adds to this. I would say that I relate to a Gemini Moon just as much, though.

Libra moon (yes, yet another one. lol) in 6th house.

I love intellectual discussions about emotions and if we can have them wearing the cutest little skirts and jewelry while flirting with boys, I'll go crazy with happiness. How I process my emotions: dissecting, analyzing.

Sometimes my mercury is more emotional (8th house) and my moon more logical/analytical. They are BFFs though. Sometimes my moon gets confused and says "Mercury! What am I feeling? Logic isn't helping!" So, mercury says "don't worry libra moon, I'll take your concepts and take us on an emotional swim. You sit on top of the yacht, watch, collect data and organize emotions and thoughts. I'm going to go dive into my submarine and feel/swim my way through this deep juicy personal topic." After Mercury's emotional dive, my moon knows enough to return into its pretty, clean, safe, logical state without getting wet. It also has a fantastic report created in an extremely logical format worthy of an A grade. This is then referenced extensively for all future habit setting.

Haven't seen so many 10th house moons in this topic:/

I have a pisces moon in 10th house, and I like speaking to the puplic, but I'm shy at the same time

In my chart the moon (gemini) is in house 11.

I feel the gemini more however I think the aquarius/house is more apparent to everyone else. I also have moon opposite uranus.

One thing I have read about this placement that I remember and resonated with me is looking to acquaintances and friends for support. I do feel emotionally happy when in a group and having a sense of belonging. More than others it seems. (The gemini moon with trine to libra venus may be a factor to this too. Then uranus sextile venus- I have a pretty scattered chart).

When I talk to people about horoscopes, I always kind of ask them what sign do they think I am. The #1 answer is Aquarius. My chart actually has nothing in aquarius or taurus - which is their second guess. I have Sun in 2nd house. . And the third guess is either gemini or libra where I just shake my head and go "close enough!" - It's so predictable.

And The moon is also my chart ruler so I think it intensifies the sign, aspects, and placement.

I can be kind of emotional sometimes, but mostly when I am home and thinking about what is bothering me. I tend to be very analytical about how I am feeling and wonder what is causing it and how can I fix it (Perhaps this is the Virgo Sun. Or just the mercury sun/moon blend). Or just grace everyone with my wit and humor- perhaps this is the gemini moon mixed with the 11th house energy?) I am definitely a venter but once I talk about it, I'm pretty much over it. I'm happy when I am chit chatting. It's very stress relieving.
