Can you tell me about how this aspect has played out in your life? I'm specifically looking for negative aspects of moon/Pluto..
1. Are you manipulative?
2. Did/do you have mother issues?
3. Are you prone to being jealous or possessive?
4. How has this trait affected you negatively?
5. Do you feel you have lost friendships/ lovers because of issues with this aspect?
6. Also what houses are moon/Pluto in?
Thanks! 💙

I have a strong Moon-Pluto conjunction in my 8th house. The Moon is in Scorpio while Pluto is in Libra. I'm not jealous or possessive, I love my freedom of speech and act and I want the same for my partner.I do have trust issues though, 'cause I tend to test people before I give my heart. My Moon-Pluto logo is absolutely "all or nothing"!!

1. I'm not. Sometimes I do but only with my best friend, and even then it's more like an inside joke than real thing. I'd never do that with random people.

2. I don't understand this question. Do I have issues as a mother? (I'm male) Or I have issues with mother? It's really hard to tell, but more to the side of not having any problems.

3. Jealous, yes. Possessive, no.

4. I can feel lost sometimes. And for me feeling lost is depressive.

5. Yes, actually now that I think about it, the reason I lost a friend was because both of jealousness and possessiviness.

6. Both moon and pluto is in 3rd house.

Three women that are close to me have Moon/Pluto: Moon conjunct Pluto in the 7th, Moon conjunct Pluto in the 8th, Moon opposite Pluto 3rd/9th. The three of them are: manipulative, have problems with their feminine self-image, suffer form an almost pathological envy (and jealousy), with violent fits of envy and jealousy - probably the reason they don't have really close friends, especially other women (or if they have them, they lose them because of this). Two of them are suffocating mothers, the other one has no children. Envy and jealousy seem to be a real problem with this aspect, leading to serious tantrums that can break any friendship.

All three have a lot of wonderful qualities as well.

Mine aren't conjunct, but occupy the same house (the 4th).

I've got Pluto in opposition to my Sun and Square Saturn. My main antagonist is definitely my father; Morally ambiguous and more than a little dangerous- very Plutonian.

Both of my Moon and Pluto aspect most of my planets (mostly negatively) so yeah, I'm extremely jealous, possessive, prone to fits and mood swings. My father and I have very similar charts, so it looks like I've inherited a good deal of his charming quirks

I have an opposition.
1. With family, highly.
2. If you mean if I have issues with my mother, yes, definitely. Ours is a very very very complicated relationship. I do love her but I never felt her love for me (me being a cancer only makes things worse, lol).
3. yes, I'm very jealous, but I don't like to show it. I prefer letting everyone to be free to do what they want.
4. Maybe it's just the fact that I don't show my feelings that causes problems sometimes, since people often don't understand where I stand and what I want, neither if I do care about them. The problem with this aspect, to me, it's the absolute, unrestrainable desire/need to keep everything hidden. Only people who decide to know me and dig into my thoughts, eventually will really know me.
5. Yes. For the "keep everything hidden" issue. Until I feel very safe, and I know the person won't go and leave me, I don't show what I really feel. The intensity of my feelings terrifies me and sometimes I'm afraid it could terrify others too.
6. My moon is in gemini on the cusp of 8th/9th house, my Pluto is in Scorpio in the 2nd house

Hope it helped you have an aspect like this or is it someone close to you?

I have opposition. How nice.

1. Are you manipulative? I have told several times that I am so I suppose that it is true even though I can not see it myself.
2. Did/do you have mother issues? No, I have not.
3. Are you prone to being jealous or possessive? Yes I am but I`m usually pretty good at hiding it.
4. How has this trait affected you negatively? Well it makes me feel icky. I know that people belong theirselves and they can do as they please and I do not have right to try to control them but I feel the urge very stongly at times so I have to frequently fight against that urge.
5. Do you feel you have lost friendships/ lovers because of issues with this aspect? Yes one lover who after a relationship become a friend. When I later think about it I guess I didn`t never quite realize that I demanded too much during our friendship and didn`t realize fully that I wasn`t the girlfriend anymore.
6. Also what houses are moon/Pluto in? Sixth house moon, twelfth house Pluto

Just been told I have this (it explains... umm... a lot) so thought I'd add my two cents.

1. Are you manipulative? Well, I work in marketing so... Longer answer is there's potential but I really don't like it - maybe my Sagi Mars, Cappy stellium and 12th House Saturn gang up and force me to be honest. I just don't like keeping secrets at all. But I can be manipulative if I feel its justified - hence why I work in marketing for a charity!! Not sure I could stomach the job if it was flogging soft drinks or somesuch.

2. Did/do you have mother issues?Mum is definitely a forceful personality (Aries, natch) but I wouldn't say there were issues per se.

3. Are you prone to being jealous or possessive? Not in the sense I try to control people. But I find it hard to trust. It tends to come out as a martyr streak ("oh, there must be something going on with x and y so I'll bail now before I get hurt anymore" kind of thing, when there's nothing of the sort).

4. How has this trait affected you negatively? See above. Also https://www.the-numinous.com/2019/01/09/moon-pluto-astrology/ has it spot on: "You blow up at people. You blow up at yourself. “Alone forever!” you cry."

5. Do you feel you have lost friendships/ lovers because of issues with this aspect? In the past, yes - if only because a super emotionally intense person is never fun to be around. I'm more in control of it these days.

6. Also what houses are moon/Pluto in?
Third. It crosses the Virgo/Libra border though (Moon late Virgo, Pluto early Libra).

1. Are you manipulative?
I understand motives so I tend to go looking for clues in others’ behaviour rather than using strategy to get what I want.
I’m more interested in protecting myself by assessing who is truly a friend.
2. Did/do you have mother issues?
She meant well.
3. Are you prone to being jealous or possessive?
Yes possessive re boyfriends. I used to be about friends too. I am very friendly but I feel safer knowing it’s fleeting. A sister abroad and a boyfriend is enough.
4. How has this trait affected you negatively?
I have spoken out and probably sounded ridiculous. But boyf gets jealous too which I remind him about in those moments.
5. Do you feel you have lost friendships/ lovers because of issues with this aspect?
I don’t think they got to know that side, so probably not. I kept it internal before. These days I speak my mind, it’s refreshing to not compromise, it reinforces identity.
6. Also what houses are moon/Pluto in?
Libra 4th

1) not at all, but I have an uncanny ability to smell it in others
2) absolutely, my mother was in a car accident before I was born and it's caused her to have terrible mood swings, addictive behaviors, violent outbursts, and many other horrible characteristics of a traumatic brain injury. She's basically a perpetual teenager in a grown body. She's extremely manipulative and one of the worst alcoholics I've ever met. The kicker... She can't comprehend why her behaviour has effected her children. Because of the brain injury, she doesn't understand actions can have dire consequences.
3) no, I can't remember a time when I've felt jealousy. Possibly as a baby when my sister was born but nothing past that. Not in any relationship.
4) I've had to learn massive amounts of self control. I'm prone to "letting my emotions run away with me". I'm 35 now and able to pair logic with my strong emotions before making a rash decision.
5) not directly as a result of my actions, but because I have an extremely low tolerance of ******** I've cut people out of my life and walked away and never ever looked back.
6) moon at 29°40 libra, Pluto at 0° 7 applying scorpio in the 6H

And too add to this,
My mother has the sextile
My sister has the square
My brother has the trine
My baby sister has scorpio moon exactly conjunct Midheaven
So it definitely runs in our family

The irony of this thread and these questions is that we are dealing with two rather unconscious and subjective symbols individually (both are very connected to the "shadow" parts of self), and especially when put powerfully together.

Part of Pluto's meaning, process, and potential though, is about coming to a greater and clearer self awareness and consciousness (through pain, attachment breaking, directly facing fear, and purification), but it takes a lot to get there because there is often so much attachment, desire, subjectivity, and often with a fair amount of ego and fear attunement.

The Moon is one of the most subjective symbols there is. It is completely and utterly "right brained" metaphorically speaking. The Moon needs a heavy dose of symbols like Mercury, Jupiter, Virgo, Capricorn, Libra, and/or Aquarius to help balance out it's extremely emotional, attached, and very subjective tendencies.

Or, in other words, if a person has a Moon Pluto conjunction, and especially if it's rather highlighted/amplified, then often, unless there has been a lot of conscious self work and transformation, they have a VERY strong tendency to primarily act and interact from their unconscious/shadow (almost as if they are on unconscious autopilot), and don't tend to be too objective about themselves. (Though they are quite good at sleuthing out the secrets of others, because they are gut level intuitive and have a tendency towards the OCD spectrum).

They are also noted for a definite tendency to either put others on a pedestal unnecessarily (often the father figure oddly), or demonize people unnecessarily. These are the kind of folks that can come to hate and despise others very, very deeply and hold a grudge for a very long time, unless they are more evolved/spiritually mature than the average.

And, they are also prone to odd combos of love-hate relationships, were they are both intensely attracted to and yet repelled by certain individuals.

Source forbid if you become one of those on the receiving end, because it will confuse the HELL'z out of you! Wait, they love me? No, they can't stand me/I don't exist to them? What the bloody heck is it?

The person I somewhat recently fell deeply in love with, has very late Scorpio Moon closely conjunct very early Sag Pluto, conjuncting the IC. That and a very strong Uranian attunement.

She has such a jumble of extreme, disparate, starkly contrasting feelings, desires, and tendencies, while being fairly unconscious to her shadow aspects, that for a empath and sensitive like myself, it was like being on a roller coaster ride, and I never knew if I was up or down.

But she has great and powerful potential to grow a lot in this life, and become VERY conscious and very intune (her Soul is rather old/mature, but her personality/body level hasn't caught up yet). My core partner had a dream about her as seeing her as very mottled dark brown and blackish smooth caterpillar that eventually became a pure white and hairy moth. There is a lot of inner strength and tenacity there, and she has been through so much.

Her biggest hurdle is her inability to let herself become emotionally vulnerable and open, especially to men, and especially non platonically interested men. (Also symbolized by Venus Saturn conjunction in her 7th).

My mom has this aspect. Pluto conjunct moon in virgo in the 2nd house. She is not jealous at all. I have never seen this woman be jealous. She is also an incredibly open and honest person. Knowing the characteristics of this aspect, I don't think she fits it at all. The only qualities that she might have is that she is really passionate in relationships and loves deeply. But I don't know if it's because of this aspect alone....as she has other aspects in her chart that signify passion and deep love.

1. Are you manipulative?
Sometimes, but only so much since I haven't achieved world domination yet. :P

2. Did/do you have mother issues?
They have improved I just needed my independence. Totally one of my favorite people. I just can't live with her.

3. Are you prone to being jealous or possessive?
I try not to be because I know how it feels to have someone be jealous of me.

4. How has this trait affected you negatively?
Yes, but I also see good having this placement.

5. Do you feel you have lost friendships/ lovers because of issues with this aspect?
It all comes down to compatibility and human behavior from both parties. I don't think one placement can be the cause.

6. Also what houses are moon/Pluto in?
6th
