no. 2 ^ sounds like a crappy Mars.. Mars in Cancer, Pisces or Taurus - squaring something like Pluto or Venus.. and retrograde.

Leo's always mean well.....at least the ones I've met.I kind of like their spirit! My mom (who I LOVE) was a Leo....in her chart she has 4 planets in Leo too...) She was a queen and I respected her! No one was ever as great as she was!! IP: Logged |

Leos are way more in depth than what you describe and I'm with Odette, the 2nd description doesn't sound like Leo at all. Leos are warm loving creatures that people generally feel the need to admire or adore... I'm not sure what Leos you've known, but maybe you rubbed them the wrong way..you come off a bit holier than thou and I can't think of a single Leo who would appreciate that attitude directed at them.IP: Logged |

I have seen both the types. My ex with Leo ascendant fell in both the categories. Another guy with Leo Sun/Venus fell in category 2. All the Leo women I know fall in category 1. quote:

They won't admit it though because of course how could they possibly see themselves in such a negative light? Even when they note their flaws they speak like they're better than you for having the flaws lol I always wondered why do Scorpios get hate for these same behaviors but Leos get praised for it. Leos have this very false idol mindset that they are always and only warm and kind and nothing else and it is borderline narcissism. They refuse to admit to their flaws, even when they are admitting to their flaws. The most hypocritical...They have their own rose-colored glasses on for themselves. The replies speak volumes. At least Scorpios are honest about it when they do it and they do apologize. You can't get a Leo to apologize even if you put the facts of science down in front of them. They'll just smile and move onto the next topic and shoot you down if you try to bring the old one up, like they weren't getting defensive over it earlier. Tragic. I luv Scorpios and Leo but why the wishy-washy with the way they are treated? My Scorpio babes can't get a break for the same thing Leos always get a pass for  IP: Logged |

I've been around Leos all my life and probably know them more than the other ten zodiac signs.Many here tend to forget that Leo is a fixed sign, so getting a Leo to admit they're wrong is never going to be easy. Actually, the only time a Leo apologises is when they feel they have something to lose from the person they've hurt or annoyed. Unfortunately, even an apology is never enough because, at some point, they'll make the same mistake again, resulting in their previous hollow apology being nothing more than an attempt at providing a false sense of security to the other person. Leos are larger than life, gregarious and very generous people. However, they tend to have issues with boundaries and that's my biggest gripe about them (even more so than their arrogance). With the women, they tend to be prima donnas and have lousy taste in men (i.e. they place more importance on how exciting the man is and the intensity with which their fragile egos are stroked). The men I find worse. All the Leo males I've known I had to break ties with them because of their greed, inconsideration and selfishness. They have no conscience when it comes to leaving people that they know high and dry. Furthermore, in general, Leos have a tendency of putting even their friends down (or intentionally embarrassing them) when they feel inferior to them (no matter how temporary that feeling is). This is especially true in social situations. But, on a positive note, I have noticed that many Leos 'grow-up' with age. I tend to find Leos above the age of 45 to be, on the whole, lovely and warm people. Yes, they can still slip back into their bad habits but older Leos are more able to keep themselves in check.

either way leos seem like a very extreme sign and you guys are either a leader and admired or loner type...you stick out either way extremely. they also think they are ALWAYS RIGHT. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
and they think they are teaching you everything you know, they treat you like your dumb, they always have this better than attitude on the other hand i love aquarians they are like leos but way more considerate my aries rising is frustrated with this leo guy ive been seeing >: what are your guys thoughts?
Hmm....I've dated Leo men and have been friends with Leo men and women. I've never witnessed this behavior from them. I've just found them to be very stubborn, which can be a good or bad trait.
