1. they're in your face very into themselves, project that they love themselves dearly and are very theatrical, seem like a good time, extremely fun to be around and just warm loving people, people want to follow them

2. they are down right miserable and put down anybody who they think is trying to be better than them or if they arn't getting the attention that they want, pick everybody apart, seem like loners, leader of a loser clan....lol sorry...will only have friends who they think they are better than because they're insecure and want to always feel like "the man"

either way leos seem like a very extreme sign and you guys are either a leader and admired or loner type...you stick out either way extremely. they also think they are ALWAYS RIGHT. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

and they think they are teaching you everything you know, they treat you like your dumb, they always have this better than attitude

on the other hand i love aquarians they are like leos but way more considerate

my aries rising is frustrated with this leo guy ive been seeing >:

Though back when I first posted that, it struck me as very silly (but funny). These days I realize a great many women, even authority figures, really are that fragile (though they surely wouldn't tease and taunt a guy like that, which is what makes it funny in the "beware what you wish for" way).

I admit, I tend to hug the spotlight a lot and think of myself as important, but that's just because it's better to think positively of yourself than in a negative light. I believe thoughts create your reality. Call it what you like, self-centeredness, narcissism, but I know deep inside me that I am just as important as everybody else. That doesn't mean I think of others as dumb or way below me. I think everybody is equal as is. It's just that some people prefer the backseat, but I certainly don't.

And for a fact, I have many friends who I think are better than me. I can't say I'm not jealous of them, but I'm glad such wonderful people have chosen me among all others to be their friend.

I also don't think I'm always right. I'm pretty sure many other Leos would agree with me on this. I actually humble down if I'm proven wrong and apologize about it. We're all human. We do things wrong sometimes.

What I'm saying here is that you can't just judge everybody because of their sun sign. Everyone has their own unique blend of planetary placements making each one of us different from the other. Not all Leos are the same.

I really hate it when people stereotype us like that. Every sign has its positive and negative traits. We're not all like that, just like you are not like everybody else that share the same sign. Keep that in mind.

I'm really not! But I have exhibited those traits in the past before, sadly to say :\ I'm past most of that negativity but the only reason I say I'm like it is because I truly am a loner right now. I'm pretty lonely but I know I need to get my life straightened out first.

Another Leo I knew had a Gemini ASC and was nice, but quite annoying- very in your face, but in a childish way. Would repeat themselves a lot as well. They also tended to brag about ailments and disorders they had for some reason.

Then there's my sister who's just a Leo at 0 degrees. She's a Libra rising and isn't arrogant or vain in the slightest. She's so laid back. One thing is for sure though, she has a VERY bright sense of style. Sometimes she looks a bit...full on, but you gotta love her anyway

I'm always aware of if I'm wrong and I have no problem at all saying sorry. I have ferocious pride, but not when it comes to that. I also know other Leos who are just as quick to apologize. Virgo planets help out a lot in that regard, too.

I do think there's a pretty noticeable difference between extrovert and introvert Leos, more than any other Fire sign. I'm evolved into a more extrovert, big-personality Leo, but it's not to say that I'm always "on." That'd be annoying.

Yes, I have met noth the type you described.

1. Very loud, very abrasive and "in your face". But then again, he also had Sagittarius rising.It could have been that that I was seeing?

2. The "who told you that you could off that shirt?" type; very judgmental, self-important, snooty and unpleasant.

But then again, she also has Virgo in Moon/Mars and Venus.

So, basically, I think there is more to the story than just "Leo" energy.

I met a lovely Lion once that I still talk to now and again. He can get it. Anytime.

He was not the two you described; neither abrasive nor snooty. Very gentle, very sensitive and extremely thoughtful.

For instance I am not all-in-your-face arrogant on a daily basis. The only time you will see that part of me, is when I am being jovial and intending to be cocky out of peer fun. Plus it especially comes out when amongst fellow fire signs (especially Aries [I love provoking that jovial challenge])

You can't pin down stereotypes of Leos. We're extravagant in our expressions. At least I can be, but some of us (like myself) have a very soft side, and if you strike us in our most sensitive area, our heart, or ego, or pride (whatever it applies to what Leo) then you'll definietly see an extreme.
