Just curious, has anyone found that their IC sign correlates to how their family views them? Like how the MC is how the public/world sees you, but your IC is how your family sees you or your reputation with family?

Mine is Virgo and all my life I've been known as the one who's "quiet", "always reading", "good in school", "smart" etc. and I feel like my family has always been more concerned with my grades and how well I do in school more so than my sister and cousins.

Anyone else relate?

Mine is in Libra.

I'm pretty sure my family sees me as prudish and snobby. I'm not sure if that fits for me. I forget libra traits (and I should really know them considering I have Venus in libra )

Leo and jupiter in the 4th my parents tell me they are proud of me and my sisters think I'm awesome.

my family life is pretty solid and normal they don't take too much of my energy but support me when I need them.

Mine is in Libra, my immediate family always commented on how pretty I am, my mother I swear its her favorite topic (its nice but obnoxious when you already know the first thing thats gonna come out of somebody's mouth) and how much I like to...debate and that I do my best to avoid hurting people intentionally..

So yeah, I suppose it fits

I have Leo on my IC. I do think my family sees me as a Leo but so does everyone else who knows me well since my Moon, Mercury, and Venus are all in Leo (but since they're all conj. my IC or in my 4th or both my Leo qualities aren't obvious to everyone). I like your theory though.

I have a Virgo IC too! I can agree with some of what you said, yep. I think my family has probably seen me as quiet, proper, a reader (though I did most of that as a child), shy, and honestly, probably family that I'm not too close with, a bit boring. But they don't know/see the Piscean part (MC) as much I think, that I have a huge inner world that is pretty creative and artistic, but I constantly get overlooked and unacknowledged compared to my cousins, and they have always stolen the spotlight lol. The only things they seem to see from my MC is unclear direction/goals. I wish I knew how to bring my Pisces MC to light, but that damn cloudy Neptune energy takes over most of the time.

Hahahaaaa well...

My IC is Scorpio, and I have a nickname "witch". My mum always commented on how independent I was since I was a child, and that I'm very wise, when it comes to family situations.

My IC conjuncts Moon, Jupiter and Uranus (widely), all in 4th House. Neptune is also there.

That is very fitting too. Refined was the first word that popped in my mind but because of that I am seen as stuck up or "too good " as I have been told. You nailed that one so maybe you're on to something here.

Haha, I am just the opposite to Leo IC - litterally and from the description here. Aquarius, I am seen as different,, maybe revolutionary, and an outlier - even within family. I do get Leo type recognitions outside home.

Also something interesting, when I do get recognized from my family, I get extremely uncomfortable. I like to be seen as a rebel at home. I have trained them to see me as a nonconformist.

But ha, it does explain things. It isn't after all mine or my family's fault

Well mine is in Sagittarious, but they see me as depressed, sad and weird girl LOL...
they think i'm a good student, calm, nice girl but also moody and lazy LOL..so i don't think that fits Sagittarious???
The only Sagittarious thing is that two members of my family and almost my mom, are Sagittarious.

Virgo IC as well and everything you mentioned is true for me. Not just my immediate family but my extended family sees me this way.

My brother is a Pisces IC and my mom seems to see him as "sensitive."

Omg yes! I have Virgo 4th house, too, and my parents have always expected more from me academically than my siblings. When I started to rebel, they were very disappointed. My whole life I've always worked to please my parents with good marks until high school.. which is now. I'm more free-willed than when I was younger. They view me as the most social and talky one though.

Scorpio 28.35 IC with Scorpio Pallas, Psyche and 0 degree Venus Sagittarius conjunction. Definitely the black sheep. I have been excommunicated by most of my family. They like to project their nasty qualities on to me. My life is much more peaceful without them.
