I lack Aqua, but I suppose I can take comfort in my Leo Mars in his 7th conjunct his Jupiter and square his Venus! And of course My Venus conjunct his Mars. Double wammy. Attraction synastry-wise.

I sensed the Damon/Elena-Ian/Nina chemistry really strong but maybe that's because my Venus is conjunct her Venus and trine his Mars. I think synastry not only helps us tune into individuals, but also other people's chemistry if we aspect certain parts of their synastry.

With the Twilight thing, I didn't even like twilight. I considered it a bit too cheesy for me. I still watched it anyway out of curiosity to see what all the fuss was about. I couldn't really sense Rob and Kristen's chemistry but when I saw their synastry I could tell it was real. They had a Mars/Venus aspect. He had Mars in the 7th house in Capricorn, she's an Aries Sun with Saturn in Capricorn square it. He has Libra on the 5th house cusp, she has Moon in Libra. His Sun was trine her Dsc ruler.

She has Mars in Aquarius which traditionally rules the 11th house. Taurus is on her 11th indicating that she likes men who act Taurus-like. Rob was a Taurus Sun.

Basically, I was just nosy about their attraction synastry (like always).

You win. Venus-Mars and all.

Well, looking at our synastry, I noticed:

° his Mars falling onto my Sun-Mercury-conjunction with Mercury ruling my 7th house (interestingly unaspected in both natal charts)

° Grand cross-square of:
his Moon conjunct my IC and opposite my Pluto
his true BML opposite my Venus
and of course his Moon square my Venus, and hsi BML squar emy Pluto

So Moon, IC, Pluto, BML, Venus (interestingly his Draco Pluto is exac on my Draco Venus).

° his APHRODITE and LUST conjunct my Vertex and EROS. lol

° his EROS square my PSYCHE; his PSYCHE quinkunx my EROS (both aspects are exact)

° his Mercury exactly conjunct my Neptune and NN and ASC

° I like the Venus-Jupitr-trine as well, especially with both, his Venus and his Jupiter triggering my Venus/Jupiter-mp. Feeling good-aspect.

I see Nina's Capricorn planets as part of his attraction pattern through his Saturn in the 8th house, and 5th house ruler in the 10th. Interestingly her Sun falls into the Leo duad of Capricorn. Her Sagittarius Venus resonates with his 7th house, and 5th house ruler in Sagittarius. He also has Juno in Aquarius which matches her Moon and Mercury in Aquarius.

There's another method regarding attraction that I've noticed works quite well... The house traditionally ruled by the sign of Venus can show the traits that men find attractive in women (women would look at the house ruled by the sign of Mars).

It works like this... Ian has Venus in Scorpio... Scorpio rules the 8th house... Ian has Virgo on the 8th house, Saturn in the 8th house, and Mercury in Sagittarius ruling the 8th house.

I think this fits Nina's Capricorn planets and Sagittarius Venus quite well. I also suspect she has Scorpio rising. she has a 'Demi Moore' type look to her.

This is her approximate birth chart. The Asc is just my guess though. If I'm right her Mercury/Moon would help make up for the her Saturn square his Moon in synastry.
