I guess the closest word in English would be nostalgia in relation to loss and longing what has been lost......
But in relation to something that has never happened but one longs I dont think there is an english word for that specifically.
I'm not sure which of my placements make me relate so much to this word. It could be sun conj nept (in Sag, travel?) or it could just be having grown up in a house with immigrant parents from Portugal. We traveled there all the time then had to leave. So every time we went back to visit things had changed. Consequently what we missed wasn't really there anymore. Does that make sense? Nostalgia a word that comes up when you try to describe saudade. But I doesn't give the depth of the word. I think it is quite a Neptunian word. There's a fog in what/how you remember the thing you long for/miss. It's not clear and it may not even exist once you get through the fog. I'm glad you like it. Not sure why though! LOL It just makes me happy that you "get it". IP: Logged |

It makes me long to learn the language over many lives and experience the intense romance with the same soul over and over gain in a different country each time. It's interesting how when we read the words and their meanings, our minds constellate too, shedding light and illuminating forgotten aspects of our selves or our romantic natures.
As for fate and destiny...I'll post about that in your other thread. As I said...I'm going to bookmark this thread and re-read these words periodically. Each one is an entire myths of the forces between two people...as the Eternal Lovers manifest with our mortal minds. And might I say you write as fine and as elegant as you have said I write well in a different way. Thank you.
Just want to point out that the description of the words is not my writing . The author is in the link I believe. I agree she writes great. "Each word above is a different spark off the Eternal Lovers' Eternal Tryst" Now I have learned two words today: Tryst and rendezvoux (Ron Day Voo)... It sounds to me like you could write a book about the dance of eternal lovers. Experiencing the same romance with the same soul over and over again in different countries would be epic... Genius! I wonder if I have the tenacity to persist through an entire novel! Perhaps it could be a little shorter than average? Maybe just a few scenes from separate cultures. IT would require research and I'd probably need help... I hope to continuously develop relationships here and eventually strike out on such a course. Thank you Amelia28! Namaste sister! IP: Logged |

I already thought of what I would do...I'd write a short story of each tryst for each 100 years after 0 a.d....the first love story.I'd do the research by reading literature from that era as well as secondary and tertiary sources from historians... It's an idea for now...but I pray I can do it for I think it will bring me closer to my nn in the 12th house...I could use my analytical nature to write a universal and collective love story which spans the gamut of time and culture... Or I can do something more creative and assume that different loves living in contemporary times but in different cultures all stem from the same cosmic source of love...each story could contribute to the archtypal fantasy realm which is all too real since it interfaces with the minds of these lovers.. Something similar was done with Fantasia and the Never Ending Story. IP: Logged |

I will certainly with great joy although I must humbly request that you forgive me for the time it may take but since I'm studying and reading all the time I have plenty of down time to do research by reading history and choosing the time periods. I also still wish to do that thing about filming and using characters to portray the relationships in the stars. I was looking at the astrological alignments and I noticed that mercury moves around the sun a lot. It's almost as if mercury runs to catch Apollo and then runs ahead to see if there is danger... And then he comes back to Apollo again to warn him... I can really see the zodiac and charts as an unlimited source of inspiration. Anyways...It will probably be a while before I get the gumption and tenacity to complete all these potential aspirations. Thanks for the encouragement and confidence though because it lights the day and puts a huge smile on my face knowing that someone believes in me!!! My mother does too...she thinks that is one thing I could certainly do, among others! IP: Logged |
