I like that theory, Lotis

I agree with it and it makes sense

But where does Juno fit in at?

For both genders, the one they're ready to be grounded and settle down with for marriage/committed relationship and start a family? The one they're in for the long haul?
Or is it more of the type of relationship they would like to be in for marriage/committed relationship?

Because I can relate to the second one because I have Juno in Sagittarius in the 5th House and I would like to be in a committed relationship with someone I can have an intellectual journey with, but it doesn't necessarily mean a Sagittarius type.

I see Juno as an asteroid that's a link to the ideal and unconscious attraction. Kinda like what we "need", so to speak. Juno could be what we're "ready" for in a relationship or person.

I believe someone with an interception is very attracted to a person activaiting it by planets or angles there, because one of the challenges of an intercepted is to bring his interception to light, into the world; sometimes an interception pushes someone to go above the average, to do something (socially or culturally) important in regards to it.

My Sun/Mars are in Leo, but they don't aspect each other. I'm not attracted to Leo men romantically at all, just as friends.

My fiance has Mars in Leo, though, and I can say I'm attracted to this placement a lot. He's very protective, kind, and passionate.

Hi Mercurian Intellect,

I see Juno as the asteroid equivalent of the 7th house. It shows what we look for in committed relationships. You’re right about the ‘need’ thing. It shows what we need from a partner in order to feel ready to commit, kind of like our bottom line stance on relationships.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people are actually attracted to their Juno sign. Juno’s sign does not always show up in the partner’s chart, but I have seen this occur enough times to make me think that Juno could actually be quite significant in attraction. Juno is also associated with adornment and has a Venus-like association with what we consider beautiful… So the qualities of Juno in our chart can also attract us on a magnetic level, and not just on a mental “I need this in serious relationships” level.

Prince William has Juno in Capricorn and Catherine is a Capricorn Sun. He has no other attraction indicators in his chart indicating the sign Capricorn (not 5th,7th, 8th houses, or Venus, Moon). Kate’s Cancer Moon falls into his 7th house, but her Sun sign only shows in Williams chart through his Juno.

Hi Dancing Maenad, I lost the thread on SR, how was your SR after all?
On topic, my Mars is conjunct Sun and Venus at less than 1 degree, but your theory is interesting

Do you think Sagittarius Juno and a Pisces Descendant are complimentary? I'm talking about a natal chart.

In their mutable nature, yes...for the rest...not really. Cappy, I have a question for you in the Compilation thread.

I tend to get an honest combination of the two with lots of Virgo. They always act like the stereotypical Virgo as in persnickety, complaining, nagging, exacting, although there hasn't been that many. Since Virgo is on the cusp of the twelfth house, it tends to alienate me.
The third house Sagittarius Mars - yeah they do have opinions and tend to be inflexible. They kinda drive me crazy with the way they think.
Since I am definitely not a pursuer, they tend to find me.
They are always the same type, too. If you don't believe in energy, take a walk in my shoes. Then you will.

Probably a little of both (or all three if counting Juno too).

I'm drawn to that Mercury conjunction to my Mars like crazy. Usually Gemini, but if he has that and Virgo, I'm hooked. Mars doubles as my 7th house ruler, so the pull's extra strong.

I think the reason I'm not that drawn to Virgo on her own is that it's my 12th house sign. Saved from early Virgo placements, they'd fall into my 12th house... I don't always notice them.

My Sun... yes, especially in combination with Scorpio/Pluto/8th house for the square to my Sun from Pluto. I have minor aspects from Saturn and the Moon to my Sun, too, and I've definitely felt a pull to Capricorns. Cancers not so much yet. Mars aspects Saturn and the Moon, too, by the way, so it kind of blurs together.

As for Juno, yes definitely attracted. But she's in an earth sign (Virgo) and with my Taurus 8th house, I tend to prefer them over Libra. Especially late Taurus, which trines its ruler. Intense attraction on my side.

I wonder if any other women out there have noticed a shift in priorities from Mars to the Sun in terms of the style they're attracted to on a guy?

Maybe you could list you sign, house, and aspects for Mars and Sun, and say what the change has been.
