I read a lot of negativity about Venus in Virgo... and I was wondering if anyone's got some experience with them that they'd like to share?

Anything is welcome.. Even if it is negative, lol.. Just wondering what they'd be like in relationships especially considering I'm Venus in Aries. Worries me a bit lol.

I have sun in Virgo and I have been friends with Venus in Aries people. Does the person with Venus in Virgo also have the sun there?

I do have a fire sign Venus.

Libra sun. I've been friends with some Virgo suns, I tend to get along with them quite well, but I've noticed they had Venus in Leo.

I got hit on by a girl today in a fairly obvious manner
I add her on facebook and of course, she has venus in virgo :'( :'( :'(

But yeah I think the only thing about them is the fact that they tend to havr hard time being satisfied with themselves and even their partners...
other than thattt venus in virgo iss awesomee

I feel like venus in virgos who are aware of astrology should be able to control themselves much better though. So maybe not so much red flag anymore if they understand themselves well via astrology!

Been off and on with a Leo/Venus Virgo guy; he's been "fitting" because he compliments my Cap Venus. We both look at love and the expressions of love in the more "practical' sense. Not the most romantic placement in my experience lol But it's about what they do for you, in their eyes more than romanticism.

He loves to be appreciated for what he does as a provider and supportive companion. It's important to acknowledge all the little things this Venus does for you, or you'll rub them wrong. His taste in women? - Natural, well-mannered, neat appearance. Flashy doesn't really do it for him, even with that little Leo Sun.

You can have that Aries fire going on but the lively, life of the party, sometimes too blunt Aries appeal might get under their skin depending on other things going on in the chart. Virgo placements care about how they appear and the people they're surrounded with.

EDIT: Oops, you're a Venus Aries. Disregard the last part!

I had an interesting experience with one. My Mars in Taurus and Cap Asc loved it....but my Pisces moon and Aqua Sun did not.

I found he was very practical, down to earth, and genuinely cared about people. But...could be too critical at times, tough to emotionally open up, and stubborn.

To be fair..I am very stubborn too.

I've got Mercury in Aries, and a 12th house Stellium in Aries, so I do exude a lot of Aries traits even being a double Taurus with Gemini moon and Cancer Mars. It's complicated lmao. But I do have the blunt, almost abrasive (innocently), life-of-the-party attitude sometimes. Other times, I'm super observant, down to earth and easy going.

Venus Virgo here...

One bad thing is that I can be fickle. I may pursue and suddenly have a change of heart. That's one of the biggest complaints and I really can't explain it. It just happens.
Picky... We analyze and nitpick (only in my head) every last thing. I wouldn't expect perfection. That's a myth imo.
But I do think, "Is that something that I can live with long term?"

The good... I'll do almost anything for her. I do lots of little things, thoughtful things. I aim to make her happy. However, if it feels unappreciated and/or taken advantage of.... LOOK OUT.

I like libra sun/virgo venus. It's a combo that often shows up among friends. My s.o has it too.

He's calm and patient. Romantic, sweet n playful. I admire those qualities so much, but funny sometimes they grate on my nerves. When there are conflicts I'd deal with it by talking about it immediately. We may even fight along the way, I like letting things out. He likes to take his time to think things through. While he takes his sweet time I'll be stewing in my cauldron. His libra sun oppose my aries moon - yeah... Lol whenever my temper starts to flare, he'll sing "My sweet's gonna burn the place down... Down down down.." lolol cheeky focker.

He's caring. Takes care of every single little thing that I may overlook. He seldom complains, and isn't demanding or overbearing.

Well the fickleness would work well with my constant need for a chase/change.. What are your other placements? Sun/Moon/Merc/Mars.. if you don't mind me asking?

I can definitely understand the need to talk about it now - aggravates me to no end when people want to take their time to mull things over, my Aries mercury wants to handle it NOW. Otherwise, I'll be upset all day about it while you're just prodding along, contemplating it all. I appreciate your response though, it's nice to see some good things said about these people Thank you for sharing!

Sure! No problem. House number in parenthesis

Asc Libra
Sun Leo (11)
Moon Gemini (9)
Mercury Virgo (12)
Venus Virgo (12)
Mars Virgo (12)

What's yours? If you want to share.

Dang you have aries merc too ? Does his sun oppose your aries placements? Woa I guess some nice sparks r gonna fly

Yeah he sees "ugly" fights as detrimental to the relationship. While I agree to a certain extent, I sorta see those strong outbursts of emotions as a sign of passion - sounds a bit messed up but you know what I mean.

Yah we do talk things through n I forget quickly so we don't fight often.

Oh and he definitely didn't chase me. He was direct but was like "If you want it, come n get it". In our relationship, he's often the one who teases n "seduces".

Your Mars in Virgo.. How do you think that affects you (in relationships?) Thank you for sharing, by the way! Very kind of you to do so.

Same structure as yours:
Asc Taurus
Sun Taurus (12th)
Moon Gemini (1st)
Mercury Aries (12th)
Venus Aries (12th)
Mars Cancer (very end of 3rd - most say 4th, so I usually say 4th)

I don't know his TOB, so our synastry isn't exact and I loosely go off it, but his sun does oppose my venus. That's all though, it's mostly my sun that makes a lot of aspects to his venus, jupiter, pluto, and neptune.

I too agree with strong outbursts of emotions as a sign of passion. I've got the notorious Venus in Aries working when I pick fights because I'm bored and want more passion/intensity. It's terrible lol.

I would hate being baited in and not chased, although part of me would love to do the chasing. It'd be back and forth.

Also; could you further elaborate your statement "some nice sparks are gonna fly" - what exactly do you mean by that? Thank you again for your input it's nice to get some direct experience with similar planetary placements.

Oh cool! I really like Cancer Mars. It's supposed to be a bad placement, but I think it's great. I love the nurturing, caring nature and the protectiveness. My fiance has it.

My Mars seems to be a mystery to me. Mine conjuncts asc from the 12th.
Sexually, since Mars covers that. It's ALL about my partner almost all of the time. Very selfless and Virgo is mutable so I'll do my best to do what they like.
The only other things that I know is things such as... if I ask why someone did this or that, or why they want me to and the response that I get is along the lines of "Because I said so." Not good. I get VERY annoyed about that. I asked for a reason, not to get some generic, smartbutt answer. That kind of thing will irritate a mars virgo.

It's kind of a mystery to me though. I've read about mars virgo in 12 but... I don't understand it completely.

Interesting... Thank you again! I really appreciate your time and cancer mars - how refreshing to find someone actually liking it! I personally am not a fan of it, would love to have a fiery mars.. But we can't choose our placements.

You’re welcome.

I’m soo guilty of picking fights with him coz I want to get some strong reactions lol.

Oh the sparks. Whenever I see oppositions I sorta get excited. In a way, oppositions are disruptive coz the two energies are so different, to reconcile them takes lots of effort. But I’ve read that in synastry, oppositions are “stimulating” and there will probably be a lot of magnetic attraction. In my experience it’s been true enough. I see oppositions as the energies that complement my own so well, but so hard to handle. To me they’re the energies that make me think “Wow I didn’t know what I've been missing".

I was together with a libra sun, virgo venus 5 years ago…I don't think he wanted me back then, and I don't think he felt like I was good enough for him… he hasn't got a girlfriend since, he is extremely picky and flirts with everyone….somehow he still thinks he got a chance with me, I don't know if it's just a trick or if he actually did regret that he didn't just stayed with me, but he is still trying to get me back lol…. anyways he got extremely high standards, and I think he is that kind of guy it is impossible to satisfy in a relationship….watch out for this venus sign

I'm a woman with Venus in Virgo (and Mars, too) but my problem has been not being picky enough if anything. Maybe being in the 12th house and the apex of a T-square has to do with it? Empty leg is Pisces, which is all about accepting people unconditionally.

But I express my Venus by wanting to get to know people genuinely. Even if it's just casual chat, I'll be asking specific questions, just use the Mercurial side of Virgo here. And for presents... completely tailored to that person's interests and things they like. Even if I have to stumble around the city all day to find it. As a child, I would make things, too. And I do tend to put in extra attention for the underdog or people whom I don't think have been appreciated enough by others. Some of it has to do with my own self worth, I admit. And yes helping others... dropping what I'm doing to be there for them. It's quite easy to take advantage of me, so I've been trying to arm myself against that.

But I mostly feel my house placement, the T-square and my duad (Cancer - I love cooking for others and need hugs/cuddling. Not just want them, need).

Edit: For the beauty side of Venus: Yes, I'm a health freak and very conscious of my body. Want to keep it as strong as I can.

Also cover up my upper body. Like, a tanktop is fine, but I stay away from baring midriff or showing lots of cleavage. Instead I put the focus on my legs. It feels less... in-your-face, if that makes any sense?
And I love wearing one specific thing and draw all the attention to that. Necklace (I love them), something in my make-up, special shoes, etc. Probably the Virgo modesty and attention to detail?

Anyone else has noticed this about Virgo?

yeah. I share this - I can be very flashy with colors and design of clothes but never in a way that displays my bare body - it makes me feel cheap and not modest. there are tons of famous fashion designers with virgo as a sun/venus in their charts. very picky, impossible to satisfy in a relationship because we look for faults all the time. and we can lose interest fast if the person displays some quality we don't find attractive. in some ways a virgo venus would be ok with an aries one because it likely won't succumb to the aries as fast as some other signs might; virgo is deliberate and thinks

My ex was a Leo Sun/Virgo Venus combo. He would notice the smallest details about everyone. In terms of love relationships, he had very high standards. Anyone less than a "10" was not good enough regardless of their level of intelligence and compassion.

They like women who are natural-looking, neat, clean and dress modestly. I never wear makeup, which caught his attention in the first place. He told me that he was amazed that I looked flawless despite a lack of any makeup. My low-maintenance appearance, unfortunately, made him extremely obsessive and wouldn't let me go.

I know I'll probably stir up drama with this and I know that I'll just ignore those people.

As Venus in Virgo... Leo
There's been some negative things said, as well as in the leo virgo Venus thread.
If you will observe, I didn't get all butthurt like so many people do about their signs/placements.
That's how you do that...
Take notes.
