Some people just have a talent for attracting the wrong types… they seem to love these people, even though they are douchbags and is not good for them… I don't know whether or not I'm in this category, but I do fine compared with many of the people I know!What in the chart makes you attract douchbags? I personally would say my mars conjunct pluto, mars square saturn, mars opposite ascendant all on my 7th house cusp. I am very argumentative and impulsive in my relationships. I also Moon square Uranus & Neptune which often leads to unstable, unpredictable, snd deceitful relationships.IP: Logged |

my strongly aspected uranus in the 11th. it also sits opposite my moon. it brings all the aquas running towards me. not calling all aqua men douches, but i am not interested in their style of love at all. after countless aquas i have made a firm commitment to just say no to any of them.IP: Logged |

texts say that ketu in the 11th can make a person attracted to people who are not good for them... but usually this pertains to friendships. I'm not sure about lovers.Maybe mars in the 7th. IP: Logged |

Neptune in hard aspect to Venus or Moon. I natally have Neptune square Moon and I attract the lying deceitful types all the time. I wonder if i'm cursed LOLIP: Logged |

I'm going to say Moon in 12th (people think I'm overly sensitive) square saturn in the 5th...(too serious) I attract people who think I am too shy, sensitive, etc and they don't usually respect my need for silence, or understand my reserve at times. Also, I kind of take things seriously..... But, I do have a fun side...venus/uranus conjunction....but that takes a while for me to show that off!

Wow. Yes. I have both (well, Aries 7th house & Vertex, but similar to Mars in H7) with the ruler in H11 again. It's like everyone is completely fine with not talking for months, or they live too far away or just aren't available. Even people who start out constantly approaching me do a 180 once we get closer. Me too, I have similar problems… My pisces moon in 10th house seems so far away from my Mars in virgo in 4th house… (they are opposite each other) I usually long for emotional intimacy, but at the same time keep things at a distance, and I also wan't to start a family, but at the same time I don't got time because I feel my career is more important… I also just recently found out that I got moon square ceres exactly less than 1 degree… I have always found it hard to show my nurturing side towards those I love the most, isn't that contradicting? And how can I demand intimacy and emotional closeness when I always scream and run away when I feel close to someone?
My moon and mars square uranus isn't helping either…
I seem to attract good guys though, but the better and more sweet they act towards me the more I begin to scream and run away from them:S If I get a bad guy, I try to hold him so close to me that he will scream and run away from me…. omg my life is just so contradicting IP: Logged |

I have Mars in the 7th house... My 7th house cusp is in Virgo, but my Mars is in Libra. Anyway, I think that destroys me. I always choose the douchebags and the ones with the passion. I'm pretty sure that my life partner will be an aggresive one.IP: Logged |

On a psych. level, I think it has to do with not wanting to be close/tied down to someone, and/or feeling unworthy of decent love. Negative early conditioning, as well (that goes without saying, ahem).
Oh and longing for the perfect ideal thing (Neptune, I'm looking at you).So, go from that. Many things in a chart can point to those issues and in turn, affect one's relationships and attraction patterns. Afflictions from Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to the personal planets & DSC/DSC ruler. All kinds of things, really. It comes down to what you think/feel you deserve.

I attract boys who drink or smoke pot (my neptune in first maybe? I've got Pluto opposite Sun and Sun square saturn. I attract people who are cold, tyrannical and are bordering on psycopathy. I used to be drawn to intensely Scorpionic people like a moth to a flame when I was a kid, but now I do my best to stay the heck away...XP

I have more than just Sun square Pluto (my Venus is also opposite Pluto) any people I attract- men or women are very Plutonian/Scopionic in nature. The Sun, which signifies men and the father, is tainted with darkness by the harsh contact with Pluto (the relationship with my father isn't the best to say the least). Same goes for Venus, except Venus does not signify the mother, just my own femininity and women in general. My Moon makes few harsh aspects at all, and it shows.  IP: Logged |

Moon/Venus hard aspects seem to be really tough.
I think in women (and maybe in men?), Moon/Mars hard aspects can manifest in a similar way (feelings vs. physical attraction, for example). --- Sun opp. Pluto = power struggles in general, especially with authority and men. IP: Logged |

For me, I would say it is my Jupiter/Uranus squaring Sun/Venus and grand trining my Mars and Moon. I think the heavy Uranus aspects I have make me attract heavily Uranian types, and though I have the aspects myself and I sometimes take on an aloof persona, I am incredibly stable in my lifestyle and personality. Unfortunately the men I attract to me all seem to have a major Uranian element (or sometimes Jupiterian element) and they tend to not be as stable because they tend towards the Uranian unpredictability (or Jupiterian lack of impulse control) instead of the Uranian detachment. I've learned how to spot these types now, and though I recognize and appreciate their charisma, I've learned how to stay away from them. Unfortunately though, the more stable types that I would like to attract typically don't have an interest in me. So... That's just the way it goes I guess. IP: Logged |
