I like were you are going with this...break it down for us your thoughts on the matter. What aspects contribute to early bird and night owls IYO??? I think uranus influence involving the 12th house ruler seems to involve people who prefer to stay up later and wake up later if they had the option...and pluto/scorpio I think as well does this. Uranus wants to set their own time perhaps rebel a bit agains't schedules and expectations of sleep or the energy from uranus just tends to stay up. So far I am leaning towards uranus/aqua and pluto/scorpio in connection to ruler of the 12th or 12th house planets equalling in people who prefer to stay up later than they should and wake up later than they are suppose...bc of how our society is structured. Definite night owl, time of posting should indicate that. Cancer Ascendant I think may have something to do with it. Moon is in 8th House in Cap. I have a lot of Pisces in my chart, Sun, Venus, Jupiter, MC.IP: Logged |

I agree 100% im scorp sun sextile uranus aqua rising nd moon my chart ruler is in 12th house also, i think its the uranus energy that keeps me up i hate waking up early and just like to stay up late and wake up late i hate having a schedule that everyone else has i just cant maintain waking up early and sleeping early

I have flip flopped with this most of my life. if i have no reason to wake up early, i end up going to bed very late. and sleeping in. i used to work a baking job that started at 2am....loved it.i am struggling with waking up early right now. it's driving me crazy, it's impossible to get out of bed before 9am and i feel like i am wasting so much time. i guess i need a good reason to get up early, and some more will power. because when i do wake up early i LOVE mornings. i think my lazyness is a transit or something, and my sleeping in is a by product. i also do better with less sleep. and i'm totally oversleeping right now. Ascendant is the Eastern Horizon.Descendant is the Western. Where the Sun Rises and Sets. Anything from First to Sixth is below (Nighttime.) Seventh to Twelfth is above (Daytime.) Above is the Day (when the Sun is in the Sky,) Below is the Night (when the Sun is below the Earth.) IP: Logged |

I knew this, but what didn't make sense to me is the 12th is this mystical and/or house filled with self-undoing, prison, etc. Great things too but as is natural with most people the bad stands out. It's above the horizon. It makes sense to me that that type of house would be below...? I'm not saying it is. But is it like, others see our 12th but it escapes the owner of it because it's just outside of the asc.. The self? How does that work?

I think it's kind of divided into a Self half, and Others half.The bottom relates to the inner world and the top the outer. I do agree about the Pisces House, but that's where the Sun rises... IP: Logged |

Night owl for 10 years since I was 17. I usually sleep around 4AM to 6AM and wake up around noon to 2pm. I blame this on my moon in cancer & mercury opposition pluto. I resonate with the moon so much. IP: Logged |

I'm fire dominant and I'm definitely an early bird. From what I have noticed, fire and earth dominant people are more likely to be early birds, air and water dominant people are more likely to be night owls.IP: Logged |

Her Mars is in the 1st degree of Leo (1'28) and they had her listed as a Leo Ascendant back then. Out of 29'59 degrees, it is very likely that her Leo Rising was after the first degree, so her Leo Mars would have to have been in the 12th House. However, they've changed her birth time from 4:37AM to 10AM giving her a Third Decan Libra Rising with a Libra Stellium of Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn placed in the 2nd House as opposed to the 3rd House (Leo ASC). I'm a night owl. I think it's a combo of my Leo sun and Cancer moon. Cats are naturally nocturnal so I think Leos do inherit some of those traits. Also, the Moon does rule the night time and I feel more energized at night than during the day. I don't like sleeping in for too long, however. I like to get some sunlight during the day.IP: Logged |

I was born close to 12 p.m. and can't stand the sunlight. Afternoon is the lowest point of energy to me. The worst hour. My natal Aqua Mars is in 12th house, so I prefer that moment of the day during the sunset or before sun rising. I feel more energized. I like sleepping a lot. I go to bed at 00:00 a.m. or 1:00 a.m. on weekends. I like to get up early but just for having a little time with me, having breakfast alone while the sun hasn't rised yet and nobody is in the streets is paradise for me. I love storms, rain, cloudy and dark weather. Maybe is my Uranus conjunct my MC.
I only can stand direct sunlight if I'm in the swimming pool or in the beach and even in those circumstances, I go swimming when the sun starts down or is the dawn time. Always wearing sunglasses, even if it's cloudy. Oh, I love cloudy days and darkness.
