I don't see the problem in this. Your chart is about WHERE you were born as much as it's WHEN you were born. People born at the same time, but two different locations have different charts. If you are born at another planet, your chart would probably be something completely else, not even comparable with a chart on our own earth.
The signs would be different, the houses, everything. You would have to invent a whole new system imo.

did we create the signs, or were the signs already there and did we just discover their whereabouts? are the signs universal? once again i must say, the signs are not aquarius, aries, pisces, etc. the signs are fixed air, cardinal fire, mutable water. it is just different behaviour of some type of energy. it is probably not a guys shape in the stars. but believe what you want; did we create astrology and our beliefs have a very strong effect on this world, making us behave according to our birth charts whereas before these beliefs formed we wouldnt have behaved in those ways, or is astrology a real tangible thing that affects us from the 12 signs and the planets effects on our brains?
