Princess Diana has a Sag ASC (Jupiter), so that ties in with lvASTRO. She also has Sun semi-square Venus.

My guess is the same as this... Strong Venus/Jupiter aspects in the natal or Libra/Sagittarius in the natal. These people are good at giving the impression they are nice. Libra is so friendly and polite, and Sagittarius is so cheerful and sincere, it's like you can't imagine them as ever being mean (unless they have some type Scorpio or Cap influence). However, there are those that might use a 'nice' demeanor to hide darker tendencies, and those that seem stand-offish that are actually pretty cool once you get to know them.

The feminine signs Cancer, Taurus, and Pisces can come across as really nice in a soft quiet type of way. Scorpio, Capricorn, and Virgo, though, can come across the wrong way sometimes. It's not that they're not good people. They just have a certain sort of reserve that can rub people the wrong way at times.

The rest of the masculine signs Aries, Gemini, Leo and Aquarius, are usually outgoing and friendly. Though not necessarily 'nice' in a sweet likable sort of way unless the rest of the chart adds this.

I usually seem pretty nice. I've got a Jupiter/Venus opposition by less then a degree, with Venus in the 1st house and Jupiter in the 7th. This opposition is aspected by Saturn, though, which trines Venus and sextiles Jupiter. My Sun sign is also Capricorn and in my younger years this, along with the Venus/Saturn aspect, made me very shy and standoffish. I've gotten better at using the likable side of my personality rather then the standoffish part as time has gone on. The Venus/Jupiter gives me a kind of a cheerful/likable/sweet/girly yet slightly blunt vibe (blunt is a harmless way). My Asc, Mercury, Venus and Neptune are in Sagittarius, and my Moon is in Cancer. Despite what I've written above I still like being a Cap Sun because I think the positives outweigh the negatives.

Great post and good insights. Very true what you said about how people come across vs. how they really are. We are often duped by appearances, but it's human to be I suppose.

Because I am. Most of the time.

No fake pretenses here, I don't hate anyone and I am not a hypocrite. I think people can pick up on that.

Gemini ASC - humane, my face is very expressive and I am quite approachable and easy to talk to.

Venus conjunct Jupiter in Libra sextile Virgo Moon - well that speaks for itself. I usually see the best in people and don't hold grudges (unless I was really hurt or can't let go of something). I am very easy-going and tolerant. I am a good listener as well.
