This is different than a pullen chart. A pullen chart will show a planets strength overall but does not show a planets influence over individual planets. Unless I missed something because there's a lot of things there. Astrolada supposedly does, but only to Saturn like vedic. According to that, my Jupiter in Taurus is running wild on my chart.
So, for example, my Jupiter trines my Mars and mercury and her site is indicating that Jupiter is influencing those much much more than they are flavoring Jupiter. (even Venus though they don't aspect, just are in the same sign as mars/mercury) Do you believe that it works this way? If so, do you suppose that there is a somewhat simple way to figure it out yourself? IP: Logged |

Is it because Jupiter is right on the Domicile Cusp?Cause that is a pretty good Mercury you got going there. IP: Logged |

You mean the bigger planet influences the smaller one?Mars > Venus, Mercury, Moon, Sun. Jupiter > Mars, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Sun. Saturn > Jupiter, Mars, Venus, etc. Wait, so what does it mean exactly? lol. IP: Logged |

Yes, I think of it in that way.Pluto is the most influential and then backwards to the Moon. I usually think this is most relevant with oppositions, squares and conjunctions. The trines and sextiles work, but I think the squares/opposition and conjunctions have a "one up" on those nicer aspects. They are very much "in your face". So,for instance, someone with Moon conjunct Saturn in Libra and has no other aspects to Saturn except maybe a sextile to Pluto. The Saturn planet enjoys dominion over their Moon (with the sextile to Pluto having a less "in your face" influence). If,however, Moon-Saturn-Pluto forms a stellium in Libra conjunction. It is Pluto that enjoys dominion over both Saturn and the Moon. The person in the first instance will seem to have a lot more control over his feelings and come across reasonable, objective and well-spoken(Libra).Even with the sextile to their Moon and Pluto, they'll come across as a lot less "scary". In the second instance, there will still be eloquence, but the individual will come across as a lot more emotionally intense(even with Libra as the Moon sign). Their "passion" will be geared towards fairness and equality and they'll get very personal if such ideals are not upheld(in relationships or otherwise):They may even get very argumentative and assertive in furthering their own points of view. Be that as it may, however, the "intensity" shown by them is definitely not the same as those with Moon-Saturn-Pluto conjunct in Scorpio. With Libra it is expressed vocally (albeit aggressively at times),but there is more focus on expression than emotions. With the Moon-Saturn-Pluto in Scorpio conjunction, emotions are EVERYTHING. I didn't have a specific calculation in mind. Like bigger to smaller, outer to inner, etc. I'm not sure how, and that's my question, how? If you believe it's true. On Astrolada, when you pull up a birth chart there is a box on the side. She explained that this box shows what planets are of strongest influence. She's not saying HOW it's calculated, but she's saying that it exists and giving the answer. Ok here's the grid. (My own as a matter of fact) She's saying, the planets on the left side, are influencing the planets on the top. Empty means none, higher number means stronger influence over the particular planet at the top. Max is 60. (For some reason, Y means 60) IDK what +/- on the bottom. Ra=Rahu=North Node Ke=Ketu=South Node So for example, if you look at my Jupiter on the left side and look across. There's 50s, 40s, etc. Meaning, each of those that Jupiter is coloring that planet with Jupiter qualities, more than the other way. Or if you look, Moon on the left with Mars/Merc on the top. 40's.... Mars/Merc on the left to moon on the top... 14/15. Meaning that in the square between my moon and Mars/Merc... she's saying the moon is adding it's Gemini/Moon qualities to those planets, more than they are giving their qualities to the moon. I probably just made it more confusing. My question, is... how is this calculated? How is she arriving at this conclusion? IP: Logged |

They use Rahu and Ketu, maybe a Vedic Equation?Because unless it is Elevation, I couldn't fathom the cause. When I pulled up the Lilly, you were Pluto, followed by Mercury/Uranus equal, then Saturn, I think. IP: Logged |

You know what?I'll bet they're taking Transits and Progressions into account. If so, that's a very good function. You're getting it from all sides. That's how I like to pull up my charts for Prediction. IP: Logged |

Thank you! I just didn't know if it's like a tarot type reading or what... What it means. Pluto is my biggest influence...etc. Thanks! You're always so helpful. IP: Logged |

Very interesting. So are those Natal only, or taking into account more changeable things, like transit and progression?IP: Logged |

Yeah, it's Natal. They take Accidental Dignity and Essential Dignity, and use that to figure Total Strength.I like it when someone's truly interested. I like to help out where I can. And you're pretty cool, DeepFreeze. IP: Logged |

Wow, that's weird. Thanks for posting. ETA. Saturn & Uranus are in mutual reception in my chart. There's little doubt that Saturn is the strongest planet in my chart, I think.

Thanks Ellynlvx!Barbiegirl19 says she believes it (Pluto for me) and I've always thought so too. Like anything, it's cool in it's own way but jeez... It comes with it's own price. Not for the timid for sure. Drives ME nuts some days. And I could see Saturn in doux's chart. Makes sense. IP: Logged |

Probably why I felt a sense of kinship from the very start.Big Saturn here, too. Yeah, Pluto puts off a Force. My kids both have it, and they used to say "Space!" to each other. Does Barbie wants hers? IP: Logged |
