Mercury in Cancer don't need logic, they just know, which covers all water mercuries. There is more ways to find solutions than simple logic. Logic is wasted without imagination, Einstein will even tell you that. Intelligence needs memory recall and the ability to see things intuitively. Mercury in Cancer excels in this aspect, sometimes things you find out subjectively is even better than objective, human life would never have progressed without someone thinking subjectively, and taking it farther. Science starts subjectively and turns objective as experiments progress. Humans are not objective, we are all subjective, I don't care how people think they are logical, even Mr. Spock and Vulcans had problems with logic and emotions....now my geek factor is showing.

I know I totally approve.

But just cancers sometimes are just "not there". You keep explaining and trying to prove something, and they just wouldn't listen ONLY because it's logical And they do that with really trivial small things.

My mom is cancer and i really hate arguing with her. It just doesn't go anywhere. Too vague.

Also mercury in cancer: they just don't "grasp"! No matter how much you talk, they still go by their feelings and never use logic, sometimes at ALL!

I'm a mercury in sag, whoever said we are stupid, we are not. We just appear ditzy in our communications but inside our thoughts we are pretty deep thinkers.

I dated a mercury in Taurus once, it was like teaching a neanderthal the ways of modern life lmao.

Well, you sure did that with your previous remark ("mercury in taurus is abnormally slow! In a vvvery annoying way! I usually pull my hair while explaining something to them!"). And, as one with Mercury in Taurus - i felt inclined to play along... by acting out a short parody - which seemed fitting for your preconception of those with Mercury in Taurus - such as myself. I'm surprised you act insulted - to my response, since - again, as one - with Mercury in Taurus - I'm the one justified to feel insulted by your words. Don't you think? O_o Or, do you have Mercury in Taurus too? Cause you know - we're suppose to be abnormally slow. I just hope - i don't have to pull my hair while trying to explain this to you.

I don't mind and I'm supposedly the slowest (least intelligent) - for having Mercury in Taurus - the neanderthal. ^^ Would be nice, if they could prove it - though. I wonder if i can catch up - with my slow mind... O_o

Well, this is just "stereotype astrology". Stereotypes can be funny - they're good material for humor, but they bare little truth - in terms of real life scenarios and real life people. You can have fun with stereotypes in regards to a specific subject of a topic - but it's quite silly to take them serious. Even so, that happens a lot on astrology forums - "in a judging a book by its cover type of way (judging someone by their Sun, their Moon, their Mercury or an aspect and so on...)". In terms of astrology - Mercury is supposedly representative for the mind, but the mind can be influenced by a lot of factors: emotions (thus - we can add the moon to the mix), inner drives (and that's where the Sun comes in), personal struggles (Saturn might have something to say about that), delusions (the Neptune way) and so on. Beyond planets - we have the house in which Mercury falls - and that's suppose to show the way Mercury works (some personal talents - as depicted by the house in question), but then - we also have the "aspects" between Mercury and other planets - which show the way its affected by other planets and to what extent. That being said - even based on ones personal chart alone - there's to much to take in consideration and then, we also have "synastries" - which show the way our mind is influenced in relation to other people (we're not the same with everybody), and let's not forget "transits" - which can place an extra emphasis on the way one thinks and acts at a given moment.

That being said, from a 100 people with Sun or Mercury in Ophiuchus - if you're to judge them one by one - after spending a fair amount of time around them, you might realize that they have little in common, both in terms of intellect and tendencies - even worlds apart.

Leo mercury based on your bragging or Gemini because I hear they are narcissistic.

Honestly... Taurus since that seems to be the hot topic in here.

Yea...sorry I need to cut my nails...they mess up my typing..

But for the record, Someone with an IQ of 180 who is a surgeon, relative of the family, spells dog like dawg, literally, can't spell, or write at all...yet is a surgeon...so spelling isn't correlated to IQ as much as other factors.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that over-emphasizing spelling as an indicator of IQ would put someone in the rang of 120-130 based on correlations to professions and what my friends on facebook do...which is a pretty good sample size to extrapolate upon.
