Well, Taurus mercury can be pretty slow ^^ especially if it's retrograde and highly afflicted. But then again, each sign has its own strength and weakness and we can't judge simply by one placement.IP: Logged |

i agree every sign has its strengths and weaknesses where one sign shines another sign does not but that doesnt make it the worst or least because it also shines somewhere else everything is balanced out ------------------

My Taraus best friend from my 20's was like this. We used to joke that it took two bricks to the head for him to understand something. But if you explained it patiently, he got it and it stuck. My Taraus boss and mentor from my 30's was easily one of the 5 smartest people I've ever had the honor to know. I can only tell you that such a statement is high praise indeed from me.

I've never locked a thread as a moderator so I think it's significant when I say I'd have locked this one out of hand and made a note to keep an eye of the person who started it. Even if the question is innocent it's pointless, at least without getting a lot more specific than it is such as "which placements would be best for a life in academia" (which, btw, isn't necessarily for the most intelligent), or about learning styles (and which academic atmospheres appeal best per sign, such as which need competition to thrive and which do best in a relaxed atmosphere, for example), common sense vs. book smarts vs. people smarts, which subjects are best suited to which placements (not restricted to sun sign), and so on. In my experience, mercury in taurus is abnormally slow! In a vvvery annoying way! I usually pull my hair while explaining something to them!Also mercury in cancer: they just don't "grasp"! That's true, same with Saturn in the 3rd house, but as you grow older you get a deeper more stable mind and good writing ability and tend to educate yourself on communicating stability and thoroughly
