I suppose they could be mistaken for such by people who don't understand their general nature which is to love and be loved back just the same. I'm not sure I even read the selfishness in your story. "What about me" insinuates that he is receiving much les than what hes putting into it.. Like his needs are being pushed aside for yours, perhaps. And if thats the case he has every right to start being a little selfish..

With any fire sign you get out of them what you put in. For a while (albeit a short while) they'll allow an imbalance in shows of affection or attention, to see if them showering you with both will pay off. But it's hard to not react when you feel like you are being taken for granted, and fire folk tend to react in a big way. Aries with their temper bc they are hurt, Leo with their regal air letting you know in no uncertain terms that your behavior is unacceptable and beneath them, and Sag will probably just up and disappear after telling you that it's what they'll do if things dont change... Self preservation? Yes, definitely. But selfish just for the sake of it? No, I just dont see it.

I'm a Leo Asc, Aries Venus 9h, Sag Mars/Saturn/Uranus 5h, and a 9h Pisces Sun/Merc... I give/do anything for the people I love, but if those same people are ungrateful or show me no appreciation for those things, I take it as my cue to start taking care of me, myself, and I. Like any person with a healthy sense of self should.

But not selfish.

NOT if the person shows me that he cares about me as much as I care about him. I can NEVER be selfish towards someone I really love.

Every sign and element has the potential to be selfish.

Its just that certain signs are more likely to be selfish depending on the scenario.

When my parents were drawing up there wills my capircorn sister tried to get as much money as she can.

Sorta backfired on her...my Cancer sun parents didn't take well to that.

Anything with money, I'd argue that a Capircorn sun is more likely to be selfish in that scenario...more so then the other signs.

I think the OP's refering to the unique scenario that whould make a fire sign more selfish.

I can't speak for Aries, I've seen Sagittarius get selfish when money is involved and Leo when it comes to anything regarding there ego.

Those are the scenarios I can think of...avoid a Leo and Sag. during those two scenarios and they won't be selfish.

I have aries moon, so i'd be raging mad before any aries sun whould.

If you ever get the chance to encounter an Aries sun with a Cancer moon do it.

I swear there the least likely person to be selfish.

There heart is in the right place with there Cancer moon and they have the energy to project it with there Aries sun...they are literaly the sweetest Aries suns you can find.

To be honest I haven't actually encountered an Aries sun that was selfish though.

But...sticking to the topic and showing there's more to then generalizations.

I'd think of the time Jeremy Clarkson (Aries Sun) punched Piers Morgan (Aries Sun).

Two diffrent types of Aries sun males, Piers Morgan is a selfish jerk and not a nice guy.

Clarkson is an overzealous car enthusiast obsesed with fast cars and is well respected for his knowledge on the subject.

I think Aries could be interpreted as selfish if they come off appearing childish.
