Whether you think marriage licenses should exist or not- it doesn't matter. Marriage isn't going to be extinct no matter how "progressive" people push for its death, along with other structural institutions. Marriage is not only social, it has to do more with laws and legal status that is tied into how society identifies a person. If someone is arrested, they will notify someone, and that someone is the spouse. If someone dies, it's the spouse that gets notified first. If the person has no spouse, trying to find one of their relatives could be a MAJOR pain. Why? Because the spouse is on legal record and is considered the next of kin in all situations.

Right now is the time that the Virgo Pluto people are in power. Everything is subject to sheer scrutiny. It's a damn pain in the ass with all the over regulation, all the pseudo-intellectual BS that goes on in government and society as a general whole. People are awkward, self-entitled, whiny, demanding. So utterly appropriate since nitpicky Virgo Pluto is in power.

I said YIKES before when commenting of the Libra Pluto generation being in control by the time that Pluto enters Aquarius for a very good reason. Libra Pluto loves relationships and marriage. If anything, by the time Aquarius Pluto rolls around will be the time the Libra Pluto generation (people will be in their 40s and 50s) make marriage as the #1 come back. That's why I think EVERYONE, their dogs, trees, iguanas, etc. will be getting married. Probably a surge of real art will come back. Quite possibly social etiquette could be in place. When the Aquarius Pluto generation are in power? Who knows. I'll be too old or dead, so I really don't give a damn.

This is absurd.

I suppose you could be intending that as a hyperbolic statement, but you don't sound like you are, and there are actually people who say things along this line who are serious.

With Pluto in Capricorn currently it seems that there is a focus towards bringing the lies of anyone in authority to surface.

Would this mean that when Pluto enters Aquarius, that the secrets and lies about technology, charities, sciences, etc. come to surface? I would think so. The only way we can improve in these areas is if we address the issues with them and fix them. I think afterwards we will see a huge improvement in these areas.

I strongly believe this will mark a genuine revolution, globally. I recently went off on a whole tangent about this, but the signs are too many to list. The most important though, Saturn leaves Aquarius in 2023 and enters Pisces, just as pluto enters Aquarius and (finally) leaves capricorn. Saturn and Pluto are both at the 29th degree of cap and aqua on March 7th, 2023. I can only imagine what this will mean on that day, and the days that follow. Others have already mentioned some of the amazing transits happening before that, like the US's pluto return. Ive got my calender marked.

I can definitely sense clear signs of revolution on a global scale, not just against obviously oppressive structures (like governments) but against mundane things in everyday life - which I think is more telling. It's easy to rebel against something obviously 'evil' but once small mundane things feel unbearable then the status-quo is truly heading to a transformation.

Things which used to be accepted as a given are now being questioned by everyone I interact with, at any age, any continent, any background. For example, the 8-hour workday, commuting and traffic, pre-defined career goals, the limited ways to have 'time off', etc. to name a few.

As fas as I can observe people are moving from "Yeah it sucks, but that's how it is" to "None of that makes any sense". All of it feels so worn out that it can't be tolerated anymore. People genuinely find it painful.

So at the very least our current economic world will undergo transformation in the (hopefully near) future, as people have become disillusioned with the corporate enigma and are going back to considering their own niches. Especially since a corporate career used to be seen as "safe and stable" - this idea was shattered in the last years when so many US and European jobs got off-shored. People are finding that you can only be 'stable' if you are flexible and developing your own talents and expertise, rather than letting them be defined by an organisation.

Combined with the huge amount of educated young people who can't get hired in the current economy, so will be forced to get creative if they want to survive, I'm sure we are heading into a major transformation. Maybe it will even happen, or kick-off, while Pluto is still in Capricorn, as structures will need to die and be transformed.

Bottomline is, I am convinced that a human being who is not zombified, exhausted by an unnecessary draining 8-hour workday, combined with a few hours commute, required to engage in mundane tasks in order to reach someone else's objectives, out of some need for security or misconstrued concept of success - but is instead a fully present, conscious, aware, healthy person actively engaging in his/her life, working out of a sense of purpose/ passion, in full control of his/her life, schedule, goals etc. - will be much more interested and engaged in issues of a larger scale. Happy and conscious people are always most compassionate, whereas someone exhausted by their own daily life barely has the energy to look outside their own little world.

Hopefully Pluto wreaks some more havoc while in Capricorn, so we can collectively embrace its Aquarius transit with bigger awareness and energy

I'm sure it'll be a very interesting time.

Transit-wise, for me, Pluto will oppose my Sun. But, it'll be passing through my 1st and crossing my North Node in Aquarius, eventually coinciding with my second North Node Return. So, I'll really be feeling it!

I do predict it'll be a very revolutionary time. I do think there will be dramatic changes when it comes to technology. We could move a lot closer to that Jetson-like way of living we always imagined. Remember when people wondered if we'd be driving hover-crafts in 2010? I think Pluto in Aquarius will bring us very close to such a futuristic vision. At the same time, there is always crisis during Pluto transits in the area of the sign. That crisis has to emerge for things to change. So, dramatic breakdowns with technology could occur, as well.

Maybe we're going to have to become less dependent on our cell phones and iPads and all of that because the major technological corporations fall apart, possibly to abuse of power. Maybe more independently-based technological companies will arise. Because this will freak people out because think about how much our lives revolve around and are controlled by electronics? Now, we'll have to question this and how we're really connecting to each other. I actually think Pluto in Aquarius might heal the disconnectedness that our culture now endures because of technology. Maybe people will finally learn how to stop texting during dinner and actually TALK to others! Pluto does threaten and change our old ideas, just like it's changing people's old ideas about career now in Capricorn.

I'm also hoping that there is a radical breakdowns of the separation of the races, the sexes, sexual orientations, etc. I have hope that Pluto in Aquarius can bring us the day when all of this institutionalized labeling and stereotyping can DIE. You know, it won't be every person in the world. But, maybe, we'll stop putting everyone in these categories we still feel the need to. Maybe society will stop caring about that and just become one united community, for once.

To the previous poster, I don't think that the Pluto in Libra group will be in control during this time. I think that the Pluto in Scorpio generation is going to assume control during Pluto in Aquarius. Each generation "takes control" once they're all in their mid to late 30's, aka truly reaching adulthood. This is when they become the new generation and really change things in the world, as a result. Pluto in Libra is dominating now and changing the agenda (they're why I think same-sex marriage has gotten such a push). But, during Pluto in Aquarius, it'll be our turn to start influencing society and changing things. Which is sort of funny to think about now. Me and my friends in our mid to late 30's! Buckle up, world.

We may have finally get World Government (created by the same people who are responsible for injustice in today's world). Many bad things will be masked under "humanitarian causes" (such as, promoting GMO food "to feed the hungry people"). People will become even more alienated than they are today. Communication face-to-face can become almost extinct (Aquarius-technology, social alienation).

Wow, I agree you on this one.
It could be 'compulsory' RFID chip phase where it is 'optional' but if you don't accept it, your life will become almost impossible to live. e.g. banking, for work, healthcare etc... They'll say, it's good and for your convenience.

And if you upset someone, your details will be switched off...just like that. You disappear from the system.

That's how it should be used but these things will get abused. Medical professionals don't want you to live longer.
Why do you think they keep on giving cancer patients harmful drugs like chemo when there are other stuff available which gets rid of cancer without toxins? Only chosen few can be given those but it already exists.

On another note, I know that I am not looking forward to it. I have Mercury in Taurus at 1 degree. And before that happens, my 24 degree Cancer moon will be taking a wallop....and I think my transits right now are horrifically scary.

A Saturn transit seems like a fun filled vacation in Disney land compared to a Pluto transit.

I have come to the same conclusion. Cardinal here.
