PS Thanks for the email! I've gotten way behind because I am so popular this week, everyone is emailing me. But I've been working so hard I barely have time to catch up. I'd rather come here and try to gain status and leverage my way into a leadership position. And amuse myself with corny, non-funny jokes that nobody gets but me.

I don't see that as fake. Sometimes it's "trying" to be polite, like I'm not really "into" the conversations but I don't like to cut people off. It's not as though I smile through gritted teeth, sooo... Sometimes it's because I like to talk/interact, but I don't want to make it too deep, just acquaintances having a coffee, talking...etc... is enough, no need to be bffs n getting cozy.

For example, an acquaintance comes up to me and she's very excited about s.t so she wants to share the news. I personally don't really care for that "s.t" but hey she's excited why should I be "Mehhh..." and kill her vibes. So I act accordingly.

Another example is at social events, say a wedding of my s.o's colleague. In such instances of course the way I act would be just be strictly social.

Whether I like it or not, I have to and should give some time and effort to people around me, I don't live in a one-person island. Otherwise I'd become a hermit.

Or at work, I don't want to make friends. But of course I still engage in conversations.

The immature ones can be real d!ck. Some of them when they get older really come off as cold and users.

I have met great capricorns too, but they all seem to not let go and let people in. Even the ones who let people in always think that the world gives them a hard time when in reality they might have it easier.

I have my Sun, Venus and Saturn (also Neptune and Uranus) in Cap.

I am teacher and students (and their parents!) like me a lot. And I mean a LOT! But some of my co-workers don't. Why not? Simple.

I tend to work extra hours to properly prepare myself for classes, I am into computer science (Uranus in 2nd) and I am always looking for new and interesting ways of explainig school stuff to my students. So yeah, I work a lot (my mars in aries is in 6th)

BUT... there are teachers, co-workers who are just simply lazy. I don't hate them and I try not to get into verbal fights with them at all. But I do tell them witout hesitate, that they don't work good enough, if they start to complaining how the salory is bad etc.

What some Caps have displayed that really does bother me is haughtiness + correctness. If they were just snooty, it wouldn't be so bad, but they are snooty and often right. That's what sucks.

And I singled out the third decan because they are the most "advanced," and I usually respect (may sometimes revere) their opinions, but their self-assurance can put me off. "I'm right and I know it, period, end of story, lalalala I'm not listening anymore."

No way, not all third decan Caps that I've known have acted like that...just a few. Maybe this is something that can snowball as Cap progresses? Like it all culminates in a rock-hard confidence that is both warranted.. and scary? I dunno.

I've got a bunch of asteroids and midpoints clustered in that third decan, too, so maybe I'm more sensitive to that energy and overreact.
