I remember finding out about Unaspected Planets and their significance years after I became acquainted with astrology and wondered how such an integral facet of the study could remain so unknown. Understandably, unaspected planets are rare therefore not of any interest to the General Public, but when they're discovered in a chart, boy are they telling...

I recently had an epiphany/revelation of sorts and I'd like to bounce it off of you users here in the forum to see if you concur or have found similar instances in your lives. It's generally agreed upon that while natives may not "own" their Unaspected Planets, these planets are undoubtedly felt in their character and seen by others immediately. (Ie: an Unaspected Venus would behave very charmingly and agreeably despite his/her belief that he/she is unlovable).

What I've begin to notice even more so, however, is that natives actually have PHYSICAL manifestations of their Unaspected Planets. In my eyes, it's almost that planet's way of telling the native, "Make no mistake, I am part of you and hear to stay, and dare you not acknowledge me, I'm here in physical form to always remind you." (and in most cases, it's these very physical features that send others these planetary vibes about us and leave them with the impression we "own" that planet's qualities - meanwhile we feel internally to be severely inadequate!

My own personal example is myself. My entire life, people complimented my hair, and since the age of 17, I have grown it long (for a man) and it's unquestionably my most striking feature... it's rare that I go unnoticed simply by virtue of my hair - and it's not because it's long - it's that it's wavy, extremely thick and luxuriant... I recently put two and two together and made the correlation that this is totally my Unaspected Sun at play! Even if I don't want the attention, it attracts attention like moths to a flame. Very Leo/lion's mane, wouldn't you say? And most seasoned astrology lovers ALWAYS peg me as a Leo Sun/Leo Rising upon in first impression. The only other Unaspected Suns I know of are Beyonce Knowles and Brad Pitt - who it's safe to say both have similar hair situations.

Every unaspected Venus I know also has dimples - a typicsl Venusian quality. Every unaspected Mercury has very pointy features/chin and every Unaspected Pluto (1940s generation) has very piercing eyes/eyebrows (Scorpio).

Let me know what you think and if you have an Unaspected Planet that plays a role in your physical appearance! (ie: if you're an Unaspected Moon and could be mistaken for a Cancer Rising due to certain physical traits). Or perhaps an Unaspected Jupiter making you tall or have big thighs/teeth like a Sag?

Excited for your responses

I have an unaspected mercury and I have always been obsessed with words and writing. I'm an Aquarius rising too so it only adds more fuel to the fire. Or more "thunder" to the storm (air sign talk haha).

But yeah growing up I had a stuttering problem, now my voice is as smooth as butter. I was always an excellent reader. Even if I didn't know the word I knew how to scan it and read it perfectly out loud in front of the class. Spelling bees, hooked on phonics ya-di ya-da. I was never a chatterbox, BUT once I started talking I became a runaway train! Same thing with typing essays. This developed my love for poetry and music!

I started writing poems when I was 12, and I wrote my first book when I was 13 (trashed it though). I love raps and spoken word. And using fancy words to appeal to people

The BAD thing in this were my communication skills, which is something I am still working on. Sometimes I forget the "feeling" some words have and I can easily and unintentionally say the wrong thing in the wrong way. I've had many regrets in doing so.

All in all. An unsuspected planet is like treasure you have to take time to master in your own way since no other planets are involved. To this day writing has been my number one passion, and learning how to connect with people on a deep soulful level that brings enlightenment and inspiration. Good luck!

Forgot to mention. I think my unsuspected mercury has much to do with my hands. I have long arms and they are actually very quick. In terms of facial appearance. Everything has been Aquarian and Libran

I'd have to look more into it

Wow Great thread

I am an Unaspected Venus and I have dimples. I have a real interest in Unaspected planets and have written quite a bit on them and tried to explore them from doing charts.

There is precious little practical info on them.

I always felt as if social skills came easily to me and I never knew why. It was the Unaspected Venus

Thanks for your response! Its thorough and lengthy nature is soooo Unaspected Mercury.

I've known a few and they've all been word lovers, love crossword puzzles and word games, and all had pointy features/chins and hands that attract attention in some way. They've all also had really distinguishable voices! I would listen to their voicemails over and over. Haha.

The "very quick arm movements" sound very Mercury/Gemini to me.

Just out of curiosity, what degree is your Mercury?

I will be very honest. The Unaspected Moon is super hard for the person. The Mats may be out of control with anger and fly off the handle but I don't have that much experience with it.

The Uranus is amazing--a truly original person.

The Pluto is a powerhouse. Picture Putin.

The Venus has a natural grace and natural social skills.

The Mercury seems obsessed with something to do with the mind. They may collect pencils, pens or dictionaries.

They seem to want to express themselves so very much.

Those are some of my thoughts.

Ugh, SUCH little information on unaspected planets! Such a shame. I'd love to write a book on them... maybe this will be my breeding ground! Haha.

The dimples are totally telltale unaspected Venus!

I've come across so many people who are noted for their dimples and charming smiles who have no Libra/Taurus ANYWEHERE in their chart, but ALWAYS have an Unaspected Venus!

I'm glad you've always owned your Venus, as I have my Sun. These planets are such gifts. Do people comment on how refined or beautiful or charming you are?

I like those a lot and concur with them! You didn't include your observation on Unaspected Suns. I'd be eager to read if you'd be willing to share

Do people comment on how refined or beautiful or charming you are?

Not to brag, but yes. My whole life people would comment like this.

I say this because I lost my way so badly and went into such a terrible hole and I need to be happy for the good things God has given me.

NO, it is unaspected. Chiron and NN do not count, nor do minor aspects.

No they don't. Except for quincunx, which is considered a major aspect

Wow! I too have an Unaspected Sun, and it happens to be in Leo. Funnily enough, I can remember times, especially during school years when friends would occasionally comment on my hair and how smooth it was or what have you. I was even given the title of 'Best Hair' in 6th or 7th grade during a mock election thing! Paradoxically enough I remember thinking my hair looked like crap that day during the photo, lol. But that's super weird. I do have naturally curly/wavy hair too. It's a combo of curly and 's' waves. Anyways, very interesting observation!

This is pretty interesting!
My Saturn semisquares my Sun, quintiles Jupiter, Venus, Mars and biquintiles Ascendant and Pallas but it forms no major aspect with anything else. It's smack on my 8th cusp. People are always telling me that I'm waaay too serious. That might explain why.

You may be on to something, my older Scorpio sister has Libra Venus unaspected in 12th house and she has one face dimple, but Libra is known for dimples, so don't know if it is from the sign or being unaspected. She's very beautiful too, and could stop traffic, seriously. I remember as a little girl walking to the store with her and these guys yelling come over here, and blowing their car horns. This happened so many times I can't count.

I think unaspected planets work like any planet in fall, detriment, peregrine, retrograde, element void...you work harder to make this planet work for you. Any planet that is difficult is most likely the planet you will feel the most or lean on the most; also this planet is what people see the most from you, even when you don't see it yourself.

I have an unaspected moon, like Bill Clinton and Louis Pasteur, and Michael Jackson (he had an almost unaspected moon, hence his strong sensitivity). Now I understand where all of emotional problems come from.

I'm a very very sensitive human being who feels as though they can't fit any sort of group. I'm emotionally and socially isolated. I'm very misunderstood. It's very tough but most people I know usually tell me I'm the "sweetest and most innocent looking person they've met" (until they screw me over). At 23 people still regard me as a child even strangers because I carry this "innocent and vulnerable but caring vibe".

People usually take advantage of my niceness though. I'm too "nice" and "caring" for my own good according to some people. People regard me as a "naive" human being, but I'm not "naive" per se, I'm just very nurturing which people sometimes mistake for "weakness".

Unaspected moon somehow sucks because I feel other people's pain as if it was my very own. I can't handle to see people (even strangers) in pain and I tend to cry in private. It's very strange.

Maybe all of these features have nothing to do with this "unaspected moon" but I feel as though they're very distinctive of my personality. Bottom line is I don't feel "normal" (whatever that means) at all. I definitely feel like an alien and nobody understand me.

It is a little strange to be said like this but i guess i sometimes feel like that.
I don't know if it's relevant, but my Venus is also the apex planet in a yod configuration, so maybe that is the reason why it differs from everyone else's.

I have an unaspected Sun in Cancer.

I'm always told it looks and feels smooth. It's like up to my shoulders.

I also have Sun trine Ascendant. I feel like I am very outgoing for a Scorpio Rising.

Venus unaspected here but barely noticeable dimples. Bad social skills. I'm too direct to be considered "nice". Not particularly beautiful. Bad fashion sense and I hate shopping.
