I have 12th House moon and often find it difficult to express how I'm feeling or I will have an epiphany moment about all my feelings all at once and then I forget and go back to the fog. Over and over again like a cycle.Thankfully my moon is Capricorn and there is a lot of capricorn energy in my chart but I'm sure Neptune in my first house also isn't helping. Today I was thinking about how I forget that I have a body a lot or I forget to take responsibility for it and was wondering if that could be connected to my 12th house Moon. I love to dress up and look good but there is some unawareness of my body and i've to remind myself to look after it. I definitely feel like I'm a floating soul at times. IP: Logged |

Yes. That is also a 12th house/Neptune thing. Some bypass bathing, shaving, moisturizing their skin etc. Its not like Neptune is intentionally sloppy, it just doesn't connect with the physical body much and only attends to the soul within it. My Pisces friend has Moon-Neptune opp. He baths regularly and is clean. But his house is a mess and sometimes people mistake him for a hobbo -as he wears random clothes and keeps an unkempt appearance. He is an artist and so most times, he could care less about how he looks. Or if people think he is "sexy". IP: Logged |

I am similar in a way! My 1st house Venus probably makes me care about my appearance and I like to look good. I love makeup and dressing up nice. But a lot of times I find myself not attending to my hygiene as much as I should. My mom gets mad at me because I dont shave my armpits or legs because I forget. She also gets mad because some nights I get too involved in pacing around my room with headphones on getting lost in music I dont shower til very late at night. Sometimes I get lazy and dont care to shower. It's not good and my mom complains. Im always the very last obe to shower. While everyone in my family shows early and relaxes at night. I always shower late. It's hard for me to do that. It gets annoying at times because I cant help but not care about showering or going to bed at a decent hour and it takes me so long to do thise things I can I keep thinking and daydreaming urghhh ------------------ I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is art IP: Logged |

@moonlight swan I want to respond here because I can relate to it as well but my moon is nor in Pisces or 12th house. This is bizarre
Just recently I've learn to take care of my body because I was getting sick one after another without realizing I neglected my body. Now I keep reminding myself my body is a car. My soul is the driver. I need both to function. IP: Logged |

Don't even get me started on Neptune sitting on the Moon.....
Interesting perspective, the knowing versus experience! Love it. IP: Logged |

Knowledge is one end of the spectrum. But experience is another. One seldom like the other.A professor may "know" about business strategy and planning. But it is the entrepreneur who "experiences" that through active living it out in his business My friend has Moon in Pisces. He is sensitive alright but is not keen on things involving the spiritual world. He experiences the realism i.e flesh and bone of life's monetary up/down(Moon in 2nd house) An ex of mine has Moon in Taurus in 12th. He is the typical calm Taurus with a steady energy but he is also extremely sensitized to people's energy, can come across "weird" at times and dislikes crowds. He told me he has had weird encounters involving spritual stuff that he tries to downplay and feels cery connected to animals(esp Dogs). The house brings forth the experience beyond the intellectual "knowing" . IP: Logged |

So do you mean 12th house moon has more Neptunian and spiritual energy? Do you think 12th house moon feels the same way as a Pisces moon? Because I read the description of an Aquarius moon (my moon) and Pisces moon to her and she seemed to think Pisces moon sounded more similar to me. ------------------ I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is art IP: Logged |

Not "more" or "less" of any which one really. But i get your question. Its hard to explain without oversimplification.Which feels more "real" to you? Someone chasing you in a dream or someone chasing you in real life? Both get your heart racing. And both having you avoiding imminent danger. The thing is when you are within a dream you do not know its a dream. So the reaction is the same. IP: Logged |

I have both - a Pisces Moon in the 12th house. Guess I'm screwed?I highly relate to not feeling grounded in my body. I feel like a separate entity to my physical self. Many times I stare into the mirror and am shocked at my appearance; it's as if I'm staring at a stranger. Although, I feel that doing yoga helps me ground myself in order to find balance between my physical self and my inner being. I have to try REALLY hard to focus and not make a mess of things when I am doing physical things. It's so easy for me to drift back into my floating cloud. However, I am into my physical appearance and try to stay healthy and exercise every now and then. I am an Aries rising after all with a Taurus Mars in the 1st house. But I am a total messy person and honestly it doesn't really bother me. I am an artist too, so I tend to pay more attention towards my art stuff while neglecting other practical matters. Just the way I am I guess. IP: Logged |

There you go Aries23 I have moon in pisces and am very intuitive, have an active dream life, I sometimes astral travel and dream of things that are happening. I hate crowds and live in the mountains bc of it and I am extremely sensitive to other's people's energy so I have to do cleansing meditations and other techniques that help clear out those energies and keep me grounded. I dont have moon in the 12th house and sound very similar to your friend who has moon in Taurus in the 12th. So I dont think is that simple that the sign is knowledge and the house experience. I have both knowledge and experience and have moon in pisces. IP: Logged |

I will add I care about looking presentable and dont look like a hobo, I care about my house been organized and clean but I dont take that need to an extreme. I have standards but am also laid back. My office is organized too. My strongest planet is neptune at the galactic center squaring my sun opposite moon. My sun in pisces friend with venus in pisces is very organized and super clean in general, a lot of pisces folks are. Pisces discovery chart has a huge stellium in Virgo after all and neptune is the higher octave of venus and venus does care about appearances but yes neptune values more the soul but that doesn't mean they look like hobos and are super disorganized, I find those are the exceptions to the rule and other stuff is going on in their chart. If anything moon in aries tends to be messy. IP: Logged |

I know many pisces people who have high ideals about cleanliness and organization. One of my clients has both sun and moon in pisces and she cleans for a living and is very very good at it, she was just telling me last week how she cleaned up this room for someone that was truly a complete disaster and took her hours to clean and organize bc it was that messy and filthy and her client did not recognize the room bc it looked so amazing. Her home is kept with the same standards. My friend with sun and venus in pisces same thing, she lived with my virgo friend at that time when we met and was always complaining that my virgo friend did not clean things well and it was a source of stress for her bc she was very clean. My ex like me has moon in pisces square neptune and he was very clean and organized, more organized than me actually. I know many other examples of pisces folks with very clean and organized homes. What sign is your moon in?

My moon is in Aquarius. I feel like being a bit messy goes with the typical description of Pisces. For me, I neglect cleanliness at times and Im messy cause Im all over the place. Im thinking or imagining in my mind about something a lot that I forget what's around me. ------------------ I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is art IP: Logged |

Like I said ime pisces is often the opposite, highly idealistic and perfectionistic leading to high standards of cleanliness with their hygiene and home. So to make assumptions that pisces usually means messy and dirty bc you are like that is not fair to pisces folks as many of them, more than not, are not like that. IP: Logged |

I never assumed that all Pisces were messy??? When did I say that? I was just setting an example of how I have those placements and Im very disorganized. And why do you make it sound like it's bad to be messy? Being a neatfreak isnt all there is to life. And Im not dirty. At times neglecting myself or neglecting my chores does not mean Im dirty. I still take care of my hygiene I just said that I times I neglect what I shouldnt. Messy does not equal dirty.... Pisces is my dominant sign, the 12th house is my dominant house, and Neptune is my 3rd dominant planet. So Im aware that Pisces can be quite scattered. All over the place. Read descriptions of Pisces, it will say that. That's why Virgos are Pisces opposite. Virgos are structured, well organized, and like to follow routine. Pisces doesn't like following an organized route. We prefer to go with the flow. Again Im not saying all Pisceans are, I can only speak for myself. But don't you think you are doing just that and being unfair by claiming that most Pisces are organized and well kept? When really not all of us are. And if you can point out a description describing Pisces as organized and neat freaks I would love to see it. As I dont ever recall reading about Pisces being that way. At the end of the day different aspects come into play, which is why the Pisces you know may be more well grounded and orderly. ------------------ I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is art IP: Logged |

The thing is I have met a lot of pisces that fit the description I am saying, a lot more than the description you are saying and it fits the discovery chart I saw of neptune with a HUGE stellium in virgo. Hence their rep for wanting to help others and been idealistic, is like virgo on steroids. "The signs that are ruled by water tend to be organized, but flexible about it. This includes the signs of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces." "Pisces are the most kind and tolerant ones. This goes for their housework as well. Children of this Zodiac Sign are the ones who help their mothers the most with the cleaning of the house. They would clean the windows, vacuum clean the carpet or even scrub the floor if asked. As adults Pisces do their cleaning chores with the same enthusiasm and motivation." And I am far from a neat freak lets be clear, I like chilling and having fun too much but I am organized. I am in my head a lot but dont neglect my house nor do I make it a top priority, I simply have standards, most people do bc it feels good to have a home that is organized.. Pisces is the sign that has casually submitted into conversations with me how much they enjoy cleaning and maintaining their house nice without me bringing up that topic at all. There is a lot of information out there of astrology that is not accurate. Astrologers create this narrative that because pisces are dreamers they must not care about mundane things, well research shows that cleaning is good for depression and grounds you. Perhaps many pisces realize this unconsciously that when they clean and organize it grounds them and that is why so many of them love it.

I’m a Pisces sun and moon in 8th. My boyfriend is a Pisces sun in 2nd house. I am super organized and clean and he is messy and late to everything :-p We are both creative folks. I am more artistic and he is more musical. As far as my moon goes, I am super intuitive and sensitive. I can easily pick up on people’s energies and usually if something seems wrong somewhere. Like the other day I went to this park with this old building that used to be a battery during the civil war and I felt like I was being watched. So I got out of there. It’s interesting to see how a Pisces moon and a 12th house moon are different. I’m not sure I totally understand the difference, but it’s interesting to learn about. IP: Logged |
