With the Moon in 5th, I wonder if you work with children or an environment that has creative expression as its core?

No, most of my life though I had a super strong intense need to have children and a super strong intense need to experience romances and one big out of this world romance which I did. I also have always had great rhythm and love dancing and singing, even in my dreams I dance ballet sometimes. When I was a kid my dad would play the guitar and I would sing along with him. My girlfriends in my neighborhood and I would come up with dances together. Further, I attract artistic types and guys who are in touch with their inner child who maybe refuse to grow up to some extent and I myself feel took a while to grow into "maturity." I work with all ages but even though I am 34 years old I look younger and kids have always liked me a lot, they tend to smile at me even though I am a stranger ect... I definitely have experienced romance to a degree of intensity most don't so I guess that is where the experience piece comes in and how I experience music. But like I said I have moon in pisces on the 5th house cusp and sound similar to your friend who has moon in the 12th house so I am not sure there is a clear distinction between knowledge vs experience. I am not convinced yet, I think is an interesting theory to explore... I do have moon in pisces square neptune forming a tsquare with my sun with neptune at the galactic center so ofcourse I have experience not just knowledge regardless of where my moon falls in. Neptune is my most dominant planet, it also conjuncts my Sun/Moon midpoint. IP: Logged |

Also, my mom is a pediatrician...She is also super religious (moon rules my 9th and squares neptune). I consider a highly sensitive person. IP: Logged |

I think my point is that Moon in 12th often has "out of world" stuff interfere with their life on a daily basis. And by "other worldly", I don't mean only ghosts and dreams, but those caught in between.I picture this Moon taking on jobs that are related to things that are just outside the mainstream i.e. a professional psychic, working with people with dementia, working with children with disabilities, working at a shelter etc. With your Moon in 5th, much of what you wrote makes sense. But the Neptune on the Moon/Sun midpoint, adds to your creativity. But I wouldn't say it has you dealing with people who have drug/addiction issues. That is not 5th house. But if you find yourself dealing with drug dependency issues in and around your life, emotionally crippling issues that dont have quick fix solutions, people that you either have to put your own needs aside for to better theirs(or visa versa). That is a diff story. Moon in 5th /Moon in 12th both may deal with children. But its on a different level. Moon in 12th may deal with children behind bars or those who are born in and around correctional facilities. Moon in 5th may suggest a kindergarten teacher, child developmental psychologist, cartoonist/comic creator. Etc. To me the Moon in 12th is shades darker than the 5th. IP: Logged |

Well my moon does NOT rule my CAREER houses Aries23 but I am a counselor and yes some of clients have substance abuse issues and some have complex trauma or severe mental health issues.I have saturn conjunct pluto in the 12th house which explains more my choice of career than my moon which is on my 5th house and rules my 9th and squares my 5th house ruler Neptune, nothing to do with my career houses. Saturn is the natural ruler of careers after all and Pluto has a strong connection to psychology and trauma. Further Mars rules my 6th house and conjuncts my Venus in the 10th which I feel also describes well my passion for my career, how I put my career first and the nature of my work (e.g venus rules my 12th/mental health/subconscious). The moon on my 5th house ruling my 9th describes well my emotional NEEDS and emotional NATURE, not my career choice. IP: Logged |

Oh ok I see. That is very interesting. Both 12th and 5th feature in your chart. So its not so cut and dry. So true. IP: Logged |
