So I'm watching Titanic in snot and boggers because it always gets to me no matter how many times I've watched it, anyway I was curious to see what her chart looked like and what do ya know she has the exact same personal placements as I do minus the Venus and Mars! 😱😱 I'd imagine her to be intensely charming! More so than I am lol, is that even possible  What do you think? Is there a such thing as too much of something really? Her chart screams strong ego with all of those 1st house planets and not to mention that Pluto rocks her world or she rocks it's world? What do ya think?

I saw her in a movie called Labor Day. Now that was a trip!Her sun is close to my ascendant. She definitely has that earthy Virgo thing going! It really shows up when the sun is in Libra and Venus rules the sun sign. They look so much more earthier than the fire or air Venus imo. She looked earthy in Labor Day. And in her case, Venus rules the ascendant too! Virgo triumphs! When I went to see Labor Day I was so excited because I was born the day after Labor Day and I thought, cool, a movie about my birthday, because, sometimes, it falls on Labor Day. She has always come across rather like a feminist to me;all about equality and all that.Her Asc in Libra with ruler (Venus) in Virgo would make her a purist. I find that the issues she has had about her weight/physical appearance echo the 1st house planetary emphasis as well as the Venus in Virgo position.

Virgo is the sign of "the purist". This energy is all about sorting, organizing, assimilating and making everything run smoothly and in a coherent fashion.When Venus is there, the energy tends to be one that tends towards perfectionism. There is an emphasis to sort those areas that Venus encompasses and this includes the area of physical attractiveness, beauty and appeal etc. So this translates to body issues; wanting the perfect body, eating disorders,warped view of physical features, putting much emphasis on the self being physically attractive to others etc.
Venus in Virgo tends to think that they have to be "perfect" before they are worthy of being loved.

That's a Libra issue in general, its much worse when you add Earth or Water to the chart. Libras are about balance as we all know and when our weight bothers us we aren't balanced so it creates problem until it's restored to balance, same with physical appearance and many other things. I don't understand how if Venus IS her chart ruler that makes Virgo her chart ruler...I'm confused. It doesn't make her a Virgo just like it doesn't make me a Scorpio, why are we comparing her to one? IP: Logged |

Her Labor Day role was more a Libra in crisis. She does a good job of exploring the different facets of Libra, relationship wise, and in relation to the broader social context.

Because she looks so much like a Virgo compared to other Libras. I vaguely remember your pic so I cannot comment if you look a lot like a Scorpio but she does have that earthiness. Besides, I don't see what the problem is. Her chart ruler is Venus, it disposits her ascendant, sun and moon and it is in Virgo. That's a lot of Virgo power hehe. When I think about it, Scorpio has a lot of power in your chart as well since it's almost like hers except with Scorpio. So don't underestimate it. As a Libra stellium conjunct ascendant with sun ruler there, I can really relate to Winslet's characters vacillation and hesitation. I wonder what she is like in real life? One of my very best friends has a libra stellium but she has been single for 7 years now (she is attractive and well-groomed though...hello libra ) but her stellium is in the 10th and Kate has her libra stuff in the first. That could make the difference IP: Logged |

^^I don't how understand how anyone could say a person with 5 placements in Libra, not 2 or even 3 but 5, 1 being in Virgo is more Virgo, that doesn't make much sense...I could see if that Venus aspected any of her Libra but it doesn't, unless we count the minor aspect like that to her moon, so no Virgo power.  If anything she'll be more Aries looking. According to Pullen her top 3 by sign are Libra, Aries and Scorpio in that order, Virgo is 6th because it doesn't aspect her Libra. Mine are Libra, Pisces and Scorpio so if anything I would look more Pisces than Scorpio. By planet it's Moon not Pluto sorry, Sun and Venus. Virgo and Libra, both. Her role in Labor Day was sooooo earthy. Much more than Rose in Titanic. She acted it well! Virgo and Aries can look similar, like Virgo and Aqua. The signs quincunx each other are stuck in ironic situations of being similar but not working out:/
I thought she looked like a combination of Aries and Libra as Rose in Titanic. I find the Pullen findings odd considering Venus disposits sun, moon and ascendant. I don't get the Scorpio influence. Anyways we're all entitled to our opinions even if they are incorrect and don't make very much sense. Scorpio(Pluto) fits because its on all of her most personal planets. Yes Venus is her chart ruler and it's in Virgo but that does not make her a Virgo, especially when that Virgo does not aspect those personal planets. Venus is her chart ruler because it rules her ascendant and due to the number of Libra she has in her chart, how does that even possibly correlate to Virgo.. How is Pullen incorrect even when you think about it logically? Not to mention that she too has sun/moo exact, that in itself proves my point. IP: Logged |
