I like Mercury in Aqua. I think it would be awesome. Very innovative and interesting.I also like Mercury in Pisces because of its poetical nature. quote: Originally posted by anonymidarkness:

YES! I think that's one of my favorite Mercury aspects so long as it isn't a harsh aspect or more importantly, in aspect to an afflicted mars. IP: Logged |

Perhaps you would also like people whose 3rd house is ruled by a transpersonal planet .

Ok I got one. I admire a lot hands down Derren Brown. I think he is a genius. Hi has Sun in Pisces conjunct Mercury in Pisces: Mercury Square Jupiter Mercury Square Neptune Mercury Trine Pandora "Derren began his UK television career in December 2000 with a series of specials called Mind Control. Since redefining the genre of magic for intelligent, modern audiences, he has become synonymous with the art of psychological manipulation. His TV shows have become must-see events. Amongst a varied and notorious career, Derren has played Russian Roulette on live television, convinced middle-managers to commit an armed robbery in the street, led the nation in a séance, stuck viewers to their sofas, successfully predicted the National Lottery, motivated a shy man to land a packed passenger plane at 30,000 feet, exposed psychic and faith-healing charlatans, and hypnotised a man to assassinate Stephen Fry."

I like mercury-Pluto because they say things like they are and say things no one really wants to say, but needs to be heard! Sometimes it comes off as sarcastic humour which is entertaining. it appeals to my sag merc which likes honesty. Also mercury-mars purely because it's intellectually stimulating, I have this aspect in trine and conversations are never dull. I like Mercury in aspect to pluto, uranus and jupiter….Pluto because they are never dull, and they can hold the conversation for ages… Uranus because they are so weird but in a good way! Jupiter because…I just need talking with these people!!, other people without this aspect can seem boring and uninterested about the bigger stuff in life. I need these people for philosophical debates and stuff like that IP: Logged |

My coworker has mercury trine mars and we talk for hours; he also has mercury sextile jupiter and sextile uranus and trine chiron. Our conversations are stimulating and therapeutic. He says he loooooves talking with me too and finds me stimulating and filled with insight. I dig deep into his psyche and he enjoys the insight I give etc.. quote: Originally posted by next to neptune: I like Mercury in aspect to pluto, uranus and jupiter….Pluto because they are never dull, and they can hold the conversation for ages… Uranus because they are so weird but in a good way! I have Jupiter conjunct Uranus exact applying and Uranus rules my 3rd house. My mercury conjunct MC opposes my moon which rules my 8th. Mercury also semisquares my Saturn in Scorpio in the 11th. I gravitate towards deep conversations that are stimulating, philosophical and psychological. I have sag rising and Uranus rules my 3rd so I say what I think and I am blunt. I don't have superficial friends; the friends I keep are people that are deep and enjoy talking about in depth topics and controversial topics with an open mind. I just wanted to point out that these same qualities can be expressed in other ways . ________________________________ Great insight from both of you, I enjoyed reading your responses. IP: Logged |

I like my own Mercury placements tbh. I have Mercury in Virgo, Mercury conjunct Venus, Moon sextile Mercury, and Mercury square Pluto.Other than that, I love Sag and Gemini mercuries. They're adorable and really funny. I really get along with these placements, although they're square to mine. I like the fact that Gemini mercury seems to know a lot of things. This is probably due to my Mercury being my chart ruler and in my 3rd house. Sag mercuries take me to places I've never been. Like they're so philosophical and blunt, I really love it. This one, maybe because I have Sag descendant. I can pretty much talk about a lot of things with people who have these placements and never get bored. Pisces mercuries, I love them for their creativity and really admire them for that. But like my way of thinking just clashes with theirs a lot. My friend has this placement and I feel like he's all over the place and can't get straight to the point with things. He's a very good poet and songwriter, though. I'm also fond of fellow earth sign mercuries. I find that I instantly get that mental connection with them just because we're coming from the same place. IP: Logged |

I have Mercury in Pisces. I really do enjoy interacting with others who share this same placement. We can carry on conversations with almost ANY kind of person - I love the versatility! I also really like Aqua Mercury...fair-minded, intelligent, funny people. And I do dig Leo Mercury, too. They are by far the BEST entertainers & speakers! So dynamic, lively and fun. IP: Logged |
