Of you think that men acting a bit girly is an insult, then you're the one who's offensive.

Because it was a major stereotyping and generalization of a sign, not to mention false. It also reinforces stereotypes and emasculates men, which AG nicely pointed out.

Maybe you meant something different, but 'girls' isn't the apt word to choose. I guess I am offensive then, because saying they act 'girly' based on your description is offensive to both sexes.

For example: calling a girl fragile (its implied in your OP). I'm a 1st house stellium....far from fragile!

Technically you only know 2 Taurus people, so it really isn't conclusive enough to determine 'girly' or whatever your point is.

I think it's cute.

I know 3 taurus men, 2 with their sun in it, the other with the moon.

The sun ones are more girly in nature, and the moon one acts girly on occasions.

I don't know if they realize it or not lol.

But they're not necessarily gay. I don't think they're gay, it's just in their nature.

What are your experiences with Taurus men, what do you think about them, do you agree with this or not?

Thanks xx

My apologies but I do not believe for a second that you just randomly thought Taurus guys are girly, especially when you only know three. You have put in way to much detail here and have spent much time obsessing over this.

I believe that you are of the male gender, age is in the late teens to early 20's, and you are of Taurus within your natal chart, possibly Sun and Moon both in Taurus. Inside you is turmoil and this turmoil is a battle over your true sexuality. I believe that you've posted this message in an effort to find answers. Answers you seek on your journey to find your true sexuality and, for some reason, what society thinks matters to you. However, the first person that should matter to you, is you!

^ wow. How did you come up with such a scenario?

I don't find anything wrong with the OP, to be honest. She stated her personal opinion, so what?

So much fuss.

Lol this is getting ridicilous; yes she either phrased herself very badly or she is trying to put forth a view of tauruses being feminine or "girly" as she put it, atlough the only thing she really is doing is reinforcing the already illogical stereotype that heavy venusian or heavy lunar or any other "feminine" placement for that sake is in fact gender spesefic. which in my beileif no energy is, it just has attributes of which is seen as either masculine or feminine.

As to you'r out of this world conclusions that is even more retarded, i see where you take that from but it's far to vague to hold any kind of root in reality from what you or any of us know.

One Taurus male friend and is totally gay. Not a straight bone in his body. What kind of gay? On the feminine side but not a drag queen.

I'm sorry but that was insane. Lunar Piscean people are cray cray.

^ I speak from personal experience!!

btw, I do believe there are feminine and masculine that are NOT related to gender stereotypes but rather yin and yang which both sexes can have an inclination to one or the other.

for example wearing heels and dressing pretty is not a girly thing, is just a love of beauty thing lol.

When I read this post title, my heart began to ache and it ached with compassion for every Taurus man out there whom had read this and found it offensive or emotionally hurtful. So, I thought to myself, questioning why this person would so maliciously attack all the Taurus men of the world and a woman wouldn't. Then it popped in my head and my heart stopped aching. Then I thought it over for a few seconds and I knew it was the correct thing to do and I knew because my heart wasn't stopping me.

I was not mean, nor did I have mean intentions. I will always stand tall for the innocent, it is in my nature to do this. I only brought their insecurities too their own eyes, exactly what they did to any male taurus out here that has ever felt insecure about themselves.

I wouldn't be offended if someone said I act like a dude, personally.

Yeah, so what?
I know that already, rofl.

Sure, the generalization is quite clumsy, but I don't think it was meant to be offensive or malicious. I simply see curiosity there.

Anyway, this thread is turning into something a bit weird. Wonder what the OP thinks.

Many of the Taurus men I know are refined, very into luxurious things. Some are very stylish. They KNOW how to dress well and always have a wealthy look about them. I just think the post should have been phrased differently but I don't believe she meant in an offensive or negative way.

AND LOL @Brobian and KarkaQueen your comments made me laugh. Thanks, I needed that!

EDIT:

I'm actually crying of laughter. And Doux you just added to it, I can't breathe now.

With all due respect, your mind and thoughts are unique to you and are in no way aligned with how the other peoples of this earth think or feel.

When one goes to post on a forum or any other type of social place, it takes seconds to ask yourself the question; how will this effect my fellow people?

I also know that I am correct in my reading and can very easily prove it. However, I do not feel that to be necessary.

I agree with you and I understand because I usually try to be very conscientious with the language I use... But I think it was all in good intention.

Btw, how funny... I'm a Pisces Sun, Gem Moon! Is your Mercury aspected by Uranus? I love the way you express yourself! It's kinda funny, too!

Sun in Pisces Moon in Gemini, then you are like my opposite, or my twin, lol.

I do not have any transits between Mercury and Uranus. You are free to look at my chart, if you wish.

I'm honestly not upset about this and I know very well that it wasn't intended to be hurtful to anyone. However, my heart told me to do it and I've learned to follow my heart because it knows best. You have no idea how hard it was to make a Gemini mind, succumb to a Pisces heart, lol. It took me 35 years of complete inner turmoil to figure it out.

I mean, if you all want to go get some drinks, I'll buy the first couple rounds.

Omg, we have so many tight aspects! How cool is that... I'd list them if it's not awkward for you. You do have Moon trine Uranus though, which is pretty good. Explains the humorous eccentricity. Your strong defense of Taurus folk makes even more sense now hehe! Are you a male or a female?

Oh, it's not awkward to me at all! I do have a Gemini mind and I think people are fascinating. Actually, I'd be delighted to see your entire chart.

Oh, and I am a man and I have no problem announcing that I am attuned to my feminine side, as well as my masculine side. They are pretty evened out within me. However, I am only attracted to the female gender but I'll not ever judge any human for being who they were made to be.

I don't mind sharing my chart but I worry we're derailing the thread. We can start our own thread in Hearth and Home, if you'd like.

Asc Taurus here,Mars in Libra and 3 planets in the 7th house(including Venus).

I love "macho" related stuff like contact sports and running around throwing ball etc. But I am also very feminine. In that,I am quite soft.

Libras I know do not have the same "like" for these kind of things or may not even care for them, but I think that they should be included herein. They also tend to act soft.

But I have noticed that people with Venus-heavy chart have this emphasis on femininity and softness that becomes even more pronounced, than just the Sun/Moon placement being in Libra/Taurus.

By "Venus heavy",I mean;

-Venus on the angle(1,4,7,and 10th)
-Unaspected Venus
-Venus strongly aspected
-Strong emphasis of Venus-ruled planets; Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars
-Strong emphasis on 2nd house/7th house placements

Venus tends to "soften" people and even the ones that have heavy Venus and don't act "feminine/soft" externally, do have "tell tale" signs.

A Venus heavy guy may, for instance, like playing rugby and doing physical things that have a "masculine" association.

But you will notice the "Venus touch" when they take a shower with a freshly scented shower gel, lotion their body with "soft to the touch" cocoa butter or put on underwear/clothes that are well-fitted and accentuates certain beautiful physical features.

That's Venus.

For anyone who is interestd, you should check out porn star legend Brian Pumper's birth chart. Now that is a typical Venus guy.

The emphasis of Venus placements on his chart are so mind-blowing that finding the Asc seems unnecessary.

He looks, sounds and acts like the typical Venusian man. And I think he is flat out gorgeous.

Venus heavy guy here. Am quite in touch with my feminine side yes. Venus is my most heavily aspected planet as well as my dominant one and its in the 7th along with sun, merc, vesta, pallas, vertex and also have libra mars and libra north node. I am known as the calm peaceful one in my family even though I can be really hyper and wild a lot of the times. Haven't met too many venusian people that I know of but we definitely do like to take care of the way we look that's for sure.

In my original post, I started it off by saying "my apologies, which indicates a friendly gesture. However, you've felt the need to remove it from the quote. I'm curious, was this maybe to enhance the "evil intent" of my words?

Well, with the utmost respect onto you, my good sir. Maybe you should take what you direct outward and turn it inward, to your own heart and remove it's mask. When you've have fully accepted yourself for the negative and positive characteristics, the fundamental building blocks, which create your person. That mask will no longer be needed.

I hope you have a wonderful night, sir.
