This is my opinion with personal experience with sagittarians:Omg. I love them and hate them. Most of the crushes I have is Sag guys. What I don't like is that they make you feel like an ant. They don't make eye contact. Their aura just says that they don't give a **** . Which I don't really like. Unless they find you pretty or are really interested in you, as a PERSON (which is very rare). They have a good sense of humour which can be annoying at times when they just don't stop joking/making remarks, until your lungs explode. And they're so optimistic that even if you insult them, or tell them that something doesn't look good on them or something, and you're being honest from your part, they won't believe you and just think that you're jealous or secretly like them... damn sagittarians!! Sagittarians in my life: My mother, my aunts, my celebrity crush, and some more people. ------------------ Mia x IP: Logged |

Ah, yes, Sagittarians... It's really weird, because till the beginning of this year I had never had a decent, non-job related conversation with one of them, and I really mean never. Then they started to appear all around me, and I feel as if I am being run over by a pack of horses. They are all the same - they jump in front of you, energetic and enthusiastic, and just when you start to think they are decent folk you might actually be friend with, they disappear. Just like that. It's really difficult to make them stick around for a while, and I can definitely relate to what you said in your posts. IP: Logged |

I get a long quite well with the women. I have quite a few Sag girlfriends. But unless there was a significant Moon aspect or something altogether binding, my friendship with them never goes too deep. I don't have many Sag male friends. Saggitarian energy doesn't really appeal to me romantically. This one Sag Sun guy friend that I have whom I think is cool and have fun with has water planets and a Gem moon like me, so I get along with him. But generally, Sag guys don't really stir me up.IP: Logged |

I have a Sag friend but he's got Aqua Moon and Taurus AC which probably attracts me and sustains me. I tend to find most Sagittarians boring and their conversations drive me up a wall. The Sag I am friends with drives me nuts! He always wants to talk about what I'm doing and where I am and tell me about his day, when I want to talk about deeper things. I tell him this and nothing changes, we just won't speak "because he doesn't want to bore me". Drives me to drink. IP: Logged |

Oh yeah, like a buoy, you can pull it underwater but once you let go it immediately pops back up and bounces cheerfully on the waves, orange and insubmersible.

OMG I will keep this thread going for days! Sag, sag, sag. I live to marry one, seriously. My only request is they not have a Cancer or Capricorn moon, maybe a Taurus one like me? They have to have an earth moon though. I can't imagine being with a Sag that has an AIR or FIRE moon of all things. I digress.. There's one Sag woman that makes me uncomfortable because I feel like she's judgy and likes to show off her material things (when I could care less. I like to be happy for other people, but it's alllll in how you say it.) I know about four Sag ASC, Aries suns. Three of them are pretty loyal people as long as you're not obsessed with them and you go with the flow of wherever the friendship takes you. One thing I don't like (just personally, and it's not really against them) is how they assume things about me...and those things are true sometimes... but they still assume it and assume they're right, automatically. I hate that! My Taurus moon chafes here because I'm very careful. I don't make assumptions. All of them (except for one who had a Taurus Venus) are pretty outspoken when something bothers them, no guessing, which is SO refreshing. You can just deal with it between the two of you and move on after a little bit. There's no long, drawn out games and because my Mars is in the 12th house (albeit conjunct my ASC) I need that. I'm just bad at being assertive unless I'm getting bitchy and snotty. I know about four Sag moons and they behave more like Scorpios to me, I'm unsure why because only one of them had a Moon / Pluto thing. They tend to like to "get back" at you if they feel slighted and they can do it well! Again, this is just how I feel and my experiences. But I think it's safe to say Sag-anything can get under your skin if they really wanted or felt they needed to. I like how Sags seem GENUINELY interested in other people and observant of them. I met so many more budding psychologists who were Sagittarians than I ever did Scorpios (the supposed, textbook-stamped of the zodiac). I like how they view things, most of the time, and how they arrive at such conclusions at such a lightening speed! OH! And even though everyone (myself included) is like "Ah, they're gone too fast!" I do think when they are present in your life, their feelings for you are all real, but many people take time and are so used to a certain chronological order that it might not sink in with them 'til it's too late and the Sag has already moved onto their next chapter. << Be interesting to see your signs and how you relate to that.

They don't make me feel like an ant, but perhaps it's all the Sag in my chart? Let's see...Dad, don't know his chart (he'd probably freak if I asked him for it), did have a sense of humor but it was on the mean side. But then he had a lot of stress and he was also more responsible than I would think an alcoholic Sag would be, I'd guess he has a strong Cappie influence somewhere, and I swear I feel some Scorpio energy (probably mercury) in him. He tried to kill Mom, and once me as collateral damage in another attempt to get her back, but one time when a drunk Mom tried to shoot him (but was too drunk or stupid to switch the safety off) he merely disarmed her and I don't know what he did with the shotgun after that. He got paranoid once in thinking I was trying to murder him. He could be a lot of fun and he could be a nightmare, and I learned how to read his moods fast from a very young age. He'd definitely make you feel like an ant, but I realized fast there was something wrong with him rather than me. A good friend was a Sag. He was funny but it never bothered me and never got old for me, but others didn't like him much. He was a very odd person that most shunned (and he was strangely shy and nervous for a Sag, and I can deduce he had a lot of Scorpio in his chart) and yet we were comfortable with each other. We even sorta dated for awhile, but basically we just remained friends as usual and when he got with another girl I didn't even care, we were just friends again. They ended up breaking up because she demanded he not have anything to do with me and he wouldn't put up with that (she probably felt he was fickle and faithless but she didn't understand him and how his mind worked as I did). He and I remained friends until I moved away. Another Sag I know has a muted (but still present) sense of humor and does have a tendency to look down on some people, yet it's a clear criteria (that is I could make a checklist and predict how she'd react to someone based on learning the answers to it) rather than just her mood or how she feels (and she can dislike you without looking down on you). I think the Scorpio and Cancer in her chart contributes to that, but her Sag sun does have some very firm ideas about certain things (taking on the philosophical aspect, which Sag can become particularly dogmatic & preachy about). I got along with many Sags and those who had prominent Sag placements. Perhaps it's because I tend to keep the really bad head cases at a distance that I don't have my "horror stories" that so many LLers have of one sign or another. IP: Logged |

Same modality, you mean, right? I have a lot of Pisces in my chart + a Gem moon... I think there are too many harsh aspects to handle and even if they were out of orb, there's still tense energy there. I'm guessing you're an Aries sun. Do you tolerate Caps more because you have an earth moon? IP: Logged |

Yeah, just the fact you're both mutable signs. I think it's hard for that energy to affect one of it's own kind since it's so "go with the flow." You (in general) need a rock for a wave to crash into, etc. Total Aries Sun (Merc and Venus too, Mars also conj. ASC) and yes, I have that earth moon which is also trine Saturn. I don't know if my Moon has anything to do with it really. I think it helps in "finding" them per se, but Caps appeal to my straight shooter style. I like how naturally certain they are, with everything. Say what they mean, mean what they say and are easy to understand compared to other signs. IP: Logged |

Yes, definitely need "a rock for a wave to crash into". Even Virgo, being mutable, is still reliable enough for me. The opposition doesn't really bother me much. I usually find the Aries/Cap square especially harsh, which is why I asked... I think your Moon trining Saturn definitely reduces the friction. Explains why you view them the way that they do. I have such a love/hate for Capricorns, it's ridiculous.

I actually chuckled at this! Well, Capricorn is in my 12th house cusp. Although I get annoyed easily, no other sign gets under my skin and blows my cover quite like Capricorn heavy folk. As an Aqua ASC and Gem Moon, it's really unsettling. By the same token, 2 of the men I loved were Cap heavy. I never knew this though... Why are they considered the old married couple of the zodiac? (I'm excited now!) IP: Logged |

Capricorn is the proverbial 'old man' and Pisces being the final sign of the wheel and supposedly all encompassing the "perfect woman" (from having the ability to channel the other 11 zodiac signs) is the 'old woman.' From my personal observations it's more about their attitudes and the way they handle life. Capricorn, underneath their serious demeanor, is a baby. Plain and simple. They like their routine, they're habitual, and they're more often than not hermits. I don't even think it's limited to strictly Capricorns but Saturnine and Neptune people in general. They just live life like old people, lol. They work hard, they save their money, they're not concerned with impressing others in the least, and they honor whatever tradition they stick with (vs. say, Gemini, who will bounce around and around and around all their lives enjoying the ability of trying something new and instant gratification.) Both signs get forced into the role of caretaker some way, somehow.See where I'm going with this? They're just ready-made-grown ups in their own way. IP: Logged |

Yes, I definitely see... I always felt like an old soul. Something about Capricorns always hits me hard. I find myself sympathizing with them or just wanting to heal them and take care of them. Doesn't help either that I have exact Saturn conjunctions to my Sun and Mercury, and more loosely to my Venus. Thanks for the explanation

I'm a sag stellium Sun/Merc/Nep and I don't like sag Suns normally, to abrasive and thoughtless, they do jump in your way, it's like they don't have respect for personal space, physically or emotionally.Saggy Moons, I adore!! I'm talking to a pisces Sun/saggy Moon guy right now....I adore him! My saggy Sun/Virgo Moon doesn't aspect crossway unfortunately but still we get along like 2 lil peas in a pod! Its new though? Our suns do square each other... I have only briefly dated 2 saggy's, n they didn't have enough emotions to make me feel happy...they will talk all day about philosophy, religion, world events, but emotions?? No! I like to talk about how philosophy, world events and religion affect mine and others lives personally and that's when their eyes glaze over and they get bored! Where's the depth and personal interest?? Ok the buoy comment cracked me up...so true! If someone insults me I will totally agree and crack up about it...but nothing changes! I am who I am and if you don't like it, cool.....what's for dinner? IP: Logged |

Wow Gabby, I would have never thought you were a sag because you're so nice on here. My mom has sun/mercury/neptune in sagittarius too. Do you have neptune conjunct your sun or mercury? Maybe that's why you are more emotional and also it depends on where your moon is. I noticed with those who have neptune conjunct mercury, they like to talk in riddles and they don't get to the point or straight-forwardness because they find that too boring. They like to create mystery and they can lie very often just to make someone feel happy/flattered. (my mom is like that lol). ------------------ Mia x IP: Logged |

Yes my Sun/Merc/Nep are conjunct I have a virgo Moon in 12th also, that tames the saggy im sure! Plus Saturn is an exact trine Merc and 1 degree trine to my Sun...another taming aspect for all that saggy. Yes, I adore riddles, any thing quirky n weird n makes you think, I just love! My saggy stellium is in 3rd, with Neptune 3rd im an odd thinker. I don't think my brain goes in a straight line...it's all over the place!! The lying thing used to be something I struggled with, but now I've learned it's not healthy for anyone, even if it's in an effort to be nice. I just say nothing, if I can't tell the truth. Love Sagittareans!! OMG they're so funny. Unfortunately, I don't meet so many of them. But I've met people who have strong sag influence, though. I really love the way they just take you to places you've never been to and expanding your mind as far as the universe can go (LOL Sag descendant talking here). They're also really fun-loving and adventurous. IP: Logged |

I have Venus 0 degree Sagg sextile Aqua Jupiter. I have attracted so much Sagittarian energy throughout my life. Oh wow, It just dawned on me that my craziest traveling stories/buddies always have contained Sagittarius. My manfriend's Sagg Moon conjuncts my Venus & squares my Pisces Moon. He blurts out what I thinking quite often. Also, he is not the person to ask loaded questions such as "does my a*^ look fat in this?"
