Ive never seen someone with eyes so dark irl! So "simple black" is a bit misleading I think they're beautiful! Evrybody always swoons over blue/green eyes.. Im a sucker for browns and apparently black.. They always seem to hide something. I cant hide any emotion.. If I feel it, my peepers show it.

- My Asc. is Leo with it being on the 1st house cusp along with my Moon and Mercury.

I know that's much easier said than done. I have Lupus, and I've had horrible skin breakouts that have left me incredibly self conscious, although I've been lucky that they were only temporary. When I've had these skin reactions, it's hard for me to even leave the house. I've grown accustomed to people reacting to me a certain way, and I do feel the difference when my skin is covered in a rash, and it's like I'm suddenly worthless in their eyes. During those times, in order to put things into perspective, I think of those that have had horribly disfiguring burns or injuries to their face, and it snaps me out of feeling so bad about myself. We live in a society obsessed with beauty, but even the most beautiful supermodels will be old and grey one day, so your beauty should never be a measure of your self worth. It's fleeting, and true beauty lies within. It sounds cliche, I know, but it's true.

You also have Pluto on the ASC, so you have the ability to completely transform, and rise above any adversity. Pluto is Power!!! It doesn't come without it's own challenges, but it gives you the gift of being reborn over and over. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!" is my mantra. Pluto may have been demoted, but I still think he can kick Saturn's old ass!

I have a real big lump in my throat reading this post. It feels so good for someone to finally understand. Most people minimise the condition - "get over it" basically, but it really does kill your confidence when it flares up.

I don't believe in media-constructed "beauty" - no human *should* be any shape, weight, size, colour, or anything. There is no should, and therefore, there is no true beauty. There is only what brings us together, and there isn't really an agreed-upon idea of what that even is.
The media distorts psychological research to make us think certain shapes and sizes are more beautiful, but realistically, the hardest evidence we have is that waist-hip ratio makes a man want to impregnate you. That isn't "beauty".

Anyway, my stellium could bang on about the media all day and how it INfects our relationships (with self and others), but that's another thread.

I can't thank you enough for being so kind to me (in this thread and my chart thread). You have really made me feel accepted, and that's not easy!

I don't really think in terms of "beautiful" or "unbeautiful", it is more than when my skin flares it is painful, sensitive, and it can be disfiguring when it is a bad episode.

I guess I feel I haven't really had a face. MY real face.

BUT, it is getting better.
Funnily enough, as I have been working on the things we talked about in my thread, my skin has improved, so I really think there is truth to the struggle between Saturn/Mars/Pluto + Asc.

And yes, I should pull out my Pluto more often and kick Saturn's bum!

It's a bit wide, my Venus is at Aries 8, my ASC is in Libra, between 12 and 16, so it's a 4-8° orb.
(you can never be too sure of your birth time, just 10 minutes off in reporting will shift it a few degrees...)

My Venus is opposing the ASC from H6, which is in Pisces/Aries.

Facial appearance:
- Eyes are about medium set, I think? Maybe more shallow than deep. Visible upper lid, about medium height. Definitely small, especially for my face. Almond shaped, width is more than twice the height. The color is unusual, a mix of green, blue and brown.
- No slant, very straight.
- Nose is on the bigger side, starts at the height of the upper lid line and is straight. Thick tip, high nostrils. (I'm trying to be very precise here, but it all seems so funny when I type it out...)
- Cheeks are not very full, more long... Cheekbones are pretty low, at about the height of the nose tip.
- Skin is a hard question to answer: I use creams and tonics regularly so I'm not sure I even know what it's like naturally - what it'd be like if I left it alone. In my childhood, soft, thick, quite pale, difficult/impossible to tan, really, really easily blushed. In my teens, plagued with outbreaks, which lasted well into my 20s. Now it's fine, but probably owing much more to obsessive quality skincare than nature. No visible wrinkles yet, at 29. The undereye area is growing thin and showing veins more and more each year though...
- Eyebrows are medium thick, a liiitle unibrowy naturally. In general quite high, natural arch, long hairs. I don't like to mess with them too much. The small hairs nearer my eyes hurt SO MUCH to pluck. So. Much. I only had a professional do my eyebrows once, I had tears streaming the entire time, thought I'd scream from the pain. Decided to just keep them thick, whatever. Not worth it.
- My forehead, or rather fivehead, is very high. I have 2 scars on it, one minor, one with stitches. Really, really round hairline.
- Jaw is quite square and large, with a very small chin that sticks out, and is generally one of the things I dislike most.
- Facial shape I think is long rectangular but a few others say it's oval.
- Dimples are only vaguely visible when I smile, and it's more of a line in the middle of my cheeks than a cute dot.
- Unique features - a medium sized birthmark on the left side of the jaw, and several very small ones on my left cheekbone, under the eye.
- Lips are full and very small. The top lip is fuller than the bottom one, and I have a really, really pronounced philtrum.
- In general, the face is symmetrical. Kids and most strangers respond well to me. The major issue is that the bone structure is quite large, while the defining features(eyes, lips, chin) are very small, so there's this imbalance, that I can be really self-conscious about.

A bit more on my ACS and Venus aspects:
- ASC trine Jupiter, Mars/Chiron/Ceres = Air Grand Trine
(Always felt this is a very masculine thing. I in fact only dress in clothes that can pass for menswear. I steal my brother's clothes a lot. When we wear the same size - his closet is my closet and I freely "borrow". I don't like to wear dresses/skirts in public.)
- ASC inconjunct Sun, sextile Moon/Uranus, opposition Mercury
- Pluto and Vesta in 1st house

- Venus trine Moon/Uranus, sextile Mars/Chiron, square Neptune

Also Sun is in Taurus, H8.

Do you have dimples, or any other unique features?
Dimples when I smile.

Are your lips thin or full....describe their shape?
Full lips , lower lip larger than the upper lip. Two different colors.

Glancing over your responses, if you don't find many aspects between your Venus/AC, look at your 2nd and 7th house ruler....do that aspect your AC?

For the several ppl I saw with Saturn in aspect, esp conjunct...and anyone who deals with self image issues.
First I'm sorry you have to deal with this, if Saturn aspects your AC, it doesn't matter what aspect it is, even the soft aspects will make you insecure about your appearance.
I have Saturn in a 4 degree sextile to my AC and I was always insecure about my appearance. I could love ok in the mirror and all Id see is what I don't like!
We really are very cruel and look at ourselves 'glass half empty' attitude when Saturn aspects our AC!
I have spent over a decade intensely working on getting my psyche into a better place.
A little over a year ago I had finally gotten down to some deep/core issues, and realized it's that cruel little voice in my head that picked me apart that caused so much of my insecurity issues. It was that voice that opened the door everyday to all my insecurities and led me straight into to feeling bad about myself as soon as I woke up.

Eventually I realized I didn't need to physically change for that voice, it's the voice that needed to change, not me!
When you hear that voice, acknowledge that something in your head is trying to open a door that leads to bad places, don't walk through that door!! Don't allow yourself to emotionally believe that voice, follow it and begin to get down on yourself.
Instead, acknowledge that ugly little by saying, no, that's not what i want to think about myself....what your saying is wrong!
Then openly allow yourself to acknowledge what's ugly is that voice is trying to make me feel bad! Don't let it!
If someone else came up and treated you that way...most of us would get mad at the person not agree, slump our shoulders and feel worthless. So why do we allow ourselves to bully and pick ourselves apart and emotionally think it's true? It's crazy that we accept being treated like this!
Our thoughts about ourself are totally up for analysis and adjustment. Our thoughts are the options our mind gives us, if the first option isn't one we like...chose to see it as wrong and let your mind find another option one that makes your heart smile!!

Just because we thought something and it was the first thought that jumped in our head it doesn't make it true!!
If your minds analysis of you is not nice, your mind has made a bad analysis, it's time to readjust your thinking and come up with another opinion...one that fits better with you in a positive way and emotionally makes you feel good not bad.
You can do this!! That very first thought about yourself that hurts when you wake up in the morning....analyze it instead of listening to it! Decide your tired of that grumpy, b*+€hy, nagging voice and throw them out of your head just like you would do a person who was always putting you down! Tell them to go away!!

When you look in the mirror and start judging yourself and being cruel...stop and say, no that's not what I think about myself, I like myself so I wouldn't think that! Then find the reasons you like yourself.
Analyze the things you don't like and allow yourself to realize they are not really that bad, tell yourself you think your beautiful/handsome even with those things...those are your character, your trademark...find a reason to appreciate them!
Stay focused on fighting with that little voice, instead of agreeing with it! Allow yourself to see your problem isn't your appearance, your problem is that voice that won't allow you to feel good about yourself and has completely unreasonable expectations of an imperfect person.
In all honestly, that voice is kind of stupid....didn't it get the memo that humanity fell from perfection thousands of years ago, da....it's expectation are WAY outdated, totally unreasonable and impossible?
That lil voice is what's ugly, stupid and worthless, not you!
Pick on the voice instead of picking on yourself!!
