quote: Originally posted by Astra: My ex had a Taurus moon and unfortunately started exhibiting the shadow side of the moon within a month into our relationship. If he found you to be physically attractive, he would be very nice and charming. However, if he found you to be unattractive, then he would be unbelievably rude and treat you like crap. I find this attitude to be disgusting. There are plenty of people I find to be physically unattractive, but I don't consider that to be an excuse to disrespect them. Unless someone acts like an a**hole, then I will treat them with respect and kindness. I also realized that only his feelings mattered to him. What HE wanted and what HE needed was all that mattered. When I broke up with him, it didn't matter that I no longer wanted to be in a relationship with him. He still wanted to be in a relationship, so he stalked me long after the breakup.
What was his sun sign? Any other significant placements in his chart? My partner has a Cancer Sun/Taurus Moon (in the 2nd house) and I can't say I've seen this in him. He is generally pretty fair to everyone regardless of what they look like. He is the type to root for the underdog. Could be his Libra Mars though. IP: Logged |

The AC/1st house is an angle, the IC/4th house is an angle, the DC/7th house is an angle, the MC/10th house is an angle. Trust me,when the planets are placed there, they show up. I have Saturn and Venus on the 7th house cusp. People see both of these-even if I don't see them.

He was a Leo Sun with venus conjunct mars in Virgo in the 11th house. He had Uranus in Scorpio in the first house. Pluto in Libra in the 12th. Venus square neptune.

Hmmm, I think the OP was trying to say that Taurus Moon people are more focused on pleasing themselves and taking care of themselves first than others (which is what another poster said, more or less). I think this is true, as Venus is all about pleasure, after all. I think Moon in Taurus is usually very generous and not at all stingy with their resources or time. I have one friend with this position and the very few times that I've borrowed money from her, she's always insisted on not being paid back, which is pretty rare. She was just happy to give and to help. But, with Taurus being so practical, I think they're, at the end of the day, very aware that they need enough money in the bank to be that generous. They always make sure they're taken care of first. Where as Water Moons are more likely, on the other hand, to do things for people that will leave them penniless. And that's a horrifying word to a Taurus Moon. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

100% agree with this. They are very concerned about their financial state and may come across as "stingy" to some but it is more like they are just careful with their money. Security is their #1 priority. I can attest to this as this seems to be my partner's mentality with his Taurus Moon. He is not one to spend his money willy-nilly on a whim (unless he's being spontaneous - hardly ever) but instead looks for value and practicality in the things he buys. He would much rather us buy some nice meat and cheese and go home to eat lunch than go to McDonald's, for example. I think they get a bad rap because they are not overly "generous" but frankly I would rather be with someone who I know is going to pay the bills every month than someone who is secretly running themselves into debt. I contrast this with my water moon because I will do whatever I can for others - financially and otherwise - but within reason. IP: Logged |

Hmm well some Leos are very image-conscious meaning outward appearances (their own included) are very important to them, and Virgos are known for their sometimes critical /nit-picky nature so this might have something to do with it. IP: Logged |

Yup I agree but I'm an only child so...I was raised in an environment where when the attention was there, I got it since I was the only one. Taurus moon people tend to have easily hurt feelings and focus on them at times. We take stuff personally and can react strongly.

Just look at the way I have been treated on this forum at times.
I think you are taking this personally and are unable to see the truth behind it because it offends anyone to be called childish or selfish... As for how you've ben treated on this forum, I've witnessed it.. But I also think part of people's reaction toward you has a lot more to do with your stubbornness to hold on to what you perceive as fact/hard truth rather than being open to other interpretations of said truth. Blind stubbornness will alienate anyone. Im not trying to attack you in any way, please understand that... IP: Logged |

@the89freespirit - yes! More self need focused.. yes taurus moon CAN be generous with time, money, emotions...but only if they are taken care of first.@SSS you nailed it. Im an only child as well so I completely relate to this and have even brought it up in conversation with those that im getting close to... "just fyi, I was an only child, im used to being spoiled rotten with affection and possessions.." Unabashedly so lol... Im not particularly proud of it, but I am aware and think its unfair for someone I care about to be blindsided by it. IP: Logged |

Ah, I do love to please myself though; I love to indulge myself in the senses. I have Moon in Taurus-IC, Venus in 5th square Jupiter. Venus/Jupiter mp conjunct Moon too doesn't help my cause. It does give me a big heart thoughIP: Logged |

I do not feel attacked or offended at all. I just don't see how what you are describing could be connected to moon in taurus specifically.
