"Gone with the wind" is my mother's favorite movie. It's a theme, she has Venus in Aries, as do the others it seems.

One of my favorites is more about the character of the man portrayed. "Cool Hand Luke"
It's not a romantic movie per se, but I do love the character.
Venus in Cancer in the 12th trine Neptune.

I don't have a romantic movie, but I do have a Romantic-Comedy series that I really liked.

It's a K-Drama called Secret Garden. (btw, thank you for recommending this to me my almost astro-twin, Chiemi )

I have Venus in Libra in the 2nd House, and while although I cannot exactly correlate it uniquely to my Venus, I can say that the fact that I'm a guy that liked a romantic drama series at all might have to do with the fact that I have Venus in Libra, in it's own house as well; the 2nd House.

I love exciting, sexual, passionate romantic stories! Foreign romantic dramas are usually my favorite because they are extra sassy and have no shame.

Sag Venus in the 8th

E Tu Mama Tambien
Blue is the Warmest Color (has become one of my favorites!)
Eternal Sunshine
Wristcutters

...stuff like that

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Hands down. It really relates well to the Pisces and Scorpio energy in my chart. The movie always affects me deeply every single time I watch. It reminds me that love can be beautiful and profound, but certainly not perfect - and that's what makes love both devastating and dignified. The movie's open ending is my favorite.

Venus in Scorpio, conj. Jupiter in the 11th

I love that movie. When she crawls into the bathtub with him! *cry*

My Scorpio Venus resides in H3 though.

Venus in Aquarius...used to like love movies way back in the day but now they bore the hell out of me.

If I had to chose, I'd chose something where the woman is feisty and resistant because her attraction is so strong to the man she fears it and then later on gives it up to the guy and they fall in love.

That sort of storming sensuality gets me every time.

Venus in Pisces in 1st..... I like movies about love overcoming all obstacles

Moulin Rouge
P.S. I Love You
Princess Bride
Across the Universe
The Notebook
Dirty Dancing Havana Nights hahaha
THE LAST UNICORN - Although it's just one of my favourites since I was little, I don't even think of it as just a love story, but I just had to how it some love as well.
Like Water for Chocolate

Honourable Mentions:
Shakespere in Love
Ever After
Sliding Doors
ugh I forgot all about Big Fish - I need to rewatch that pronto!

I love Casablanca but I feel like it's more a movie about the resistance than true love

The Last Unicorn was romantic enough that I was worried boys wouldn't like it (I did some babysitting jobs)...though they did and even a "macho leaning guy" calls it a timeless classic that he'll still watch. They'd even sit spellbound through this song (That's All I've Got to Say):

I did. I don't like that one though. I think the actors are somewhat dull....I liked the one with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman....if you're going to make a love story put some energy into it - moby says.

Gemini Venus in 9th house (also Pisces Moon in 5th house conjunct the 6th, because I'm pretty sure that also matters regarding emotional investment in movies).

Not a movie, but I enjoy the manga "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon".

I guess none of those fit together. I like that weird messed up love/infatuation I guess. In movies, I mean.

I would recommend Sliding Doors, and particularly Lost in Translation. I think those two would fit your style.

I'm a Scorpio Venus and if I had to pick a movie, I'd choose Serendipity!

I'm not very big on romantic movies just because they bore me to death (Gemini Moon) and I find them to be quite useless, but I actually did like this movie because of its "spiritual" aspect.

As a Gemini Moon, I much prefer intellectual movies. Romantic moves are superficial and I seriously can't deal with too many love emotions at once! I get a panic attack every time some asks me to watch a romantic movie.

lol I agree, when I was little I got my male childhood friends to watch it and they watched spellbound and then afterwards went "Well yeah, that harpy part was the coolest part...." hehe Jeff Bridges is indeed Prince Lir.
