And it was just an "exam" or were they going to go ahead and take out polyps or whatever? A gig scheduled the next day after throat surgery?...uh uh. She said several offensive things recently, more so than her usual. I think she was losing her filter with age and that was a liability for some ptb. IP: Logged |

I don't think she was losing her filter. I think she had things to say and someone has to say them or we all become sheep, which most of us are. However, I don't think they even give general anaesthesia( sp) for the endoscopy.

Many endoscopies do use general anesthesia and I'm sorry but people die under anesthesia and sedation frequently. Its a risk you take when going under. Annoying as she was she was hardly saying anything not said by countless other people. Many more widely heard than she. I agree she went for cheap laughs, showed a remarkable lack of empathy often and unfortunately tho she disguised it with surgery she was 81 and obviously not in perfect health or the procedure wouldnt have been necessary/advised. Another self-hanged young celebrity today who was uncontroversial from what I can hear. We are going thru a time of critical energy globally and a l loo t of people just cant handle it. Robin williams had parkinsons the drugs for which often induce suicidal tendencies. Amy Winehouse was a substance addict, ditto Theres enough drama going down we dont need to get our thrills vicariously thru celebrity death conspiracies! No one is coming to save us folks and no one is out to murder all our favourite gossip objects. I repeat Rivers said nothing that was not widely said and publicly by others. Nothing much to motivate bumping her off...unless the daughter was getting tired of being in her shadow lol...but thats a cheap laugh too (the kind Rivers would make)and I highly doubt she would take action even if she were, so another dead end. Ironic that someone who had indulged in so many superficial surgeries should meet her fate in a clinic but apparently she did meet her fate...chiron filling out her t square and karma conjuncting Destinn doesnt sound like dirty work but her own affair. Well, now that the authority has spoken I guess we can all move on.
People of her high profile tell the world everyday that Obama is gay and Michelle a Tranny, and say that Palestinian children should die, right? That wasn't a joke, btw. She was serious.
Most endoscopies use twilight or something besides general anaesthetic from everything I've heard from medical professionals- because of that risk. I had one for gallstones and I was awake the whole time. Believe me, there are wars raging on forums everywhere on this, the fact they didn't know how long that she hadn't been breathing, etc. General outside a hospital is very ill advised because even if the clinic's across the street from a hospital, it still takes several minutes to make the calls, transport, etc. It's hard to fathom someone with her experience and education allowing them to use general, IMO. It wasn't her first rodeo. I'm not going to list all the celebrities who've died suspiciously in the last 5 years because your ill informed post doesn't merit the time. Thanks for that stillatlarge. Sorry you dont like me having an opinion. Even mild sedation can cause deadly reactions.But yes, Sarah Palin says worse all the time. Rush Limbaugh is another "thorn" producer...Do you honestly think the President cares who calls him gay? Just add it to the list lol. Like a lot of other jews Rivers felt vehemently about Palestinians. Some extend it to all Muslims which she didn't do to her credit..She also blonded her hair and used a stage name that sounded "nondenominational" when that was "what jews did" P erhaps her nurse was Palestinian but I doubt it. I think it is drama-seeking to look for foul play. But go for it if it gives you a rise. I'm sure theres no end of "investigative" gossips making hay with it. But thats just my opinion too
I feel peoples predilection for paranoid gossip is one of the biggest generators of fear and loathing in the world and it is fed by the pros for that reason. I dont delude myself that saying so will stop it lol. But Joan played into that gossip/slander dynamic, one if the reasons for the "cheap laughs" mentioned ^^

Something else that bothers me is that when a patient is "worth 270 milllion", there is usually concierge type of a care setting to begin with, but anytime you have someone of that high profile, wealth, and future earning potential, they are extra careful because of the gargantuan damage award in a malpractice case. A lot of people don't understand how that works. It really all comes down to that. If you're an older person, especially if you're on public assistance, disabled or something, it's almost impossible to sue no matter how egregious because that's what the damage award is based on and it's also what the lawyer collects his contingency from. It's very difficult to get an attorney in these case.
The way this place sounds, is like a cattle call where they rush people through on an assembly line practically. Those places do a LOT of surgeries and because of that, they usually know their stuff pretty well but there are the same risks that have been exposed by this case. There is nothing sinister about doing a biopsy while doing an endoscopy. It's fairly standard and they don't always tell you first ..this happened just recently during the endoscopy of a child close to me.the Daily News is a rag in other words they like to GOSSIP as the link mentions She is dead. You know what though, all I'm convinced of is some kind of foul play. I think she may still be alive or...I don't know. Remember the guy coming out of the hospital that morning and saying don't believe all the doom and gloom, that she was getting better? Then the fact she was supposedly cremated which jews don't do and then the casket? Why a casket if she was in an urn? Melissa's not selling her house, they made a point of that. You know all the other jewish friends in the public eye would be raising all kind of hell if this was such a brazen murder or even screw up.
Something just doesn't add up no matter how you look at it. I think there's supposed to be a message in all this with the sudden cluster of hangings, especially in the morning. Do people do that? Just suddenly between having their coffee and brushing their teeth, with assistants on the way over, and everything as usual, just spontaneously hang themselves? Women? In this day and time? Why do something that's so easily screwed up and potentially painful? They could have botched it and wound up a vegetable. Wouldn't they have taken pills or something more fool proof and less traumatic? Hanging is what you see when they don't have another means or they're angry and want to send a message, maybe. I don't see Robin as being that way. There was LWren, then Robin, then that chic over the weekend. I think Robin and Joan with the belt around his neck and her vocal cords, it was meant to say shut up or else. She was serious as a heart attack when she said what she did about the Obamas and the Palestinians. That was no joke.
