I'm a saggy...I guess the optimistic and bounce back easily qualities are really nice. But I wish I was more goal oriented and structured!
Saggy is so "go with the flow" n "whatever" that we lose track of more serious things. As we aimlessly wander here n there without a care, those damn capricorns are allowed to take over the world!!
I'm jealous of their drive, money making ability and determination, they have their priorities set at a young age and go for it, I want to be like that.....esp cap ACs'!

I like Taurus (though I've never gotten close to any, but that was more circumstances). They make me think of hobbits (for me that's a GOOD thing) in being solid, sensible, dependable, sensual (I mean this in the more general sense), and knows how to take care of someone if they must. Granted, they're slow to form a bond as they're more into quality over quantity but that just makes it more valuable (at least if s/he lives up to the positive more than the negative). Can't say I'm jealous of any sign. If I was forced to choose a sun sign it would be Sag, but that's probably because of my Sag stellium which makes me think I'd still be me (more or less). But I'd be fascinated to be able to see clones of me born with different charts (at least one per sun sign, including another Libra, and preferably other differences) just to see how they're different (taking the background into account, of course). ^Oh, clones of yourself with different Sun signs would be really interesting, PixieJane!  So would they just be a different Sun sign? Or with the particular sign of their Sun also the dominant sign in their chart, along with it's corresponding ruling planet being dominant? IP: Logged |

haha believe me no…I've seen the dark side of every sign! But the dark sign of sag are still fierce. No matter what they do, they do it cool. I like that. I like pisces too, but I already have a pisces moon. But I think pisces sun is still more cool. Actually I'm pretty much in love with the other mutable signs (virgo myself) mutable signs just rock! You are so nice, but you do know that SAGS are the nicest sign ever And all those capitalistic capricorns are going to have a hard time anyways, cause thats not really the "time" anymore for that. We don't need more capitalism, we need ecology and an optimistic view of our future where we take care of our planet <3 I like sags when they are involved in politics, they are great in that area IP: Logged |

Might be cheating, but I'm a little envious of Mars in Leo. Mainly because my Mars is at 29 Cancer and it's very ironic. I never wanted to fit the 'nurturer' role. I don't intend on having kids. I feel like this position makes co-dependent people naturally gravitate toward me. Sometimes I'm good at fostering people in a healthy way for the both of us, as long as they don't try to take advantage of me...but with Mars-Neptune also, it happens, unfortunately. I wonder how different my life would have been if I had been a Leo Mars. For Sun signs, I'm not envious of Aquarius, but I wish I could be one sometimes. I think Aquas are very interesting. I am also most frequently mis-guessed as Aqua (and Gemini! Go figure, both Air signs...guess I really am Air). Sometimes as a Libra, I can be too people-pleasing. I would like to remain intellectual but not as people-pleasing. I'm also driven to help humanity, and I have met many Aquas who have taken a similar interest in political science, humanitarianism, etc. and they haven't been so focused on approval from other people like I can be. They just go to the beat of their own drummer and usually don't care about others' opinions to the extreme, which I respect and admire. IP: Logged |

I think I would want to be an air sign. I have moon aqua(12th) and venus gemini but I have so many water placements i can't express them how I want.I just want to not care for once and not be so emotional.IP: Logged |

While I know its fun and what not to dabble in these kinds of "what ifs", I really dislike these threads because they really miss the point of why everyone has what they have. You have your sun sign and moon sign and all your other signs for a reason and you have something to learn from them while you are on this planet with these energies. We each chose our placements before we came into our bodies and cemented these astrological energies inside of us. What we need to do more than " being jealous"(which is ultimately a sign of fear that oneself is not good enough, whoever is should look up Leo and the lessons it teaches xD), is be thankful and understanding for what we do have, and not longful for what we do not.
If you were meant to have Sag rising and Tuarus moon then you'll have those things, if not then you won't have them. IP: Logged |

My friend you are taking all this too seriously and deep. We already know that, what you said. And I believe that we have the right to dislike some things about our charts and prefer others. There is no problem in that. Of course I accept myself. I have no other choice. I am a Virgo and I know that I have things in me that I'm glad I have. But we all have the right to wonder how it must be like to be another sign, and wish we also had their positive traits in us that might be lacking in us. One of the reason I wish I was a sag is so that I didn't have to take life that seriously, be more easy, less awkward etc. Of course you could say that the sun sign is not everything. As someone who is familiar with astrology since years now, I know a wee bit more about other things than the sun sign alone too... But to a certain extent we have to agree that the sun affects a person a lot. And as you can see this is only a very general topic, not to be taken that seriously. I do post some topics that are very specific and detailed. But this one is just not one of them. And btw how do you know that we chose our own placements before being born? That is completely a personal opinion and belief of yours. Which I don't mind you to have. But it's not a fact that you can use to argue with. You are just saying something typical and general - which is that we should all accept and like ourselves. But it really does not matter wether we like ourselves or not. That is our own problems, belief and reason. The truth is that we can only be us. Life is not perfect, we are not perfect. So why should we look at it as perfect? We are looking at things for how they are. And if Virgo has a negative trait of being too nervous, and worrying, then we don't need to lie to ourselves and say I love this about a Virgo. I personally both like and dislike things about being a Virgo. And yes I wish I was a sag. Because their positive traits are better than virgo's in MY opinion. Others might want to be a Virgo and think opposite of me. And that's fine. This thread is just made so people can express their personal and truthful opinions. We don't always have to look at things from the society's perfect point of view. It is not a very philosophical thread here, it's not a very serious one. It's only about our own personal opinions, not for preaching about general idea like you did, which is fine in its own way, but you must understand the basic reason for this thread. There are all kinds of threads here. If you don't like it, no need to pay attention to it. This site is for learning things we might like. But you may not necessarily like every thread and it may not always suite your taste/philosophy. But not everyone has the same state of mind as yours. ------------------
