My first thought as I was about to open this thread was that I start ignoring them, and that's precisely what you asked about as well.

As someone mentioned above, I just don't like to make everyone suffer along with me or make them think that it's something bigger than it is.. The more I ignore the situation, the easier to forget about it and the person involved. Sometimes I also feel it's best for the other person that I ignore them rather than be mean to them.

Ignoring them gives them the chance to move on and gives me the patience to keep my cool, because small talk is not my forte(I think I speak for most Caps here), and thus, faking like for someone is just impossible, I'll end up being rude.

They ignore you, and at times, can enjoy watching you squirm. One made it physical, didn't respect boundaries, and thought they were in the right, when they weren't. My uncle isn't like this, but another one is: he stopped talking to his mother, after she used money he sen t home for his education, on his sister's beauty school tuition instead. He will ice you out, as though you never existed, and so will my sister.

What? So if they don't respond to you ignoring them you call them?

I feel like a misunderstanding is going on here...

I think she/he means that when they ignore someone and they don't pester them about it, they call back. However, I think, constant pestering when Capricorn really just wants to ignore the situation, (to cool off and let it dissolve) will only compel them to want to ignore someone more.

That's how I understood it. I hope I'm not putting words in your (12muddy's) mouth.

This way, cap people are pretty bad at resolving misunderstandings. I know i do that sometimes and I never have discussions with the other party.

Ohhh well I meant when a Cap is mad at you or doesn't like you and ignores you to prove a point, but you don't pester them or try to get their attention anyway, then what would a Cap do? Just hate that person forever (and by hate I mean put them on some kind of "list" in their head)

I have Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus all aspecting Saturn (Moon is the only trine, others are squares) and I'm the same way.

Well, he/she differentiated between how they would handle the situation if it were say an acquaintance or someone from the "general public". In that case, yes. Ignore that person and if they ignore back then what needs to be done is done. That's how it goes. There's no need to attempt resolving something with someone who isn't important to you.

When it isn't just some random person, they would eventually call them....

Yeah Piscean Dream got it right. That was what I meant. I don't really want to ignore the person, just the part of them that I don't want to deal with. I often tell them that I think I need some space and that I'll come back later.

Hanna, in such situations then yeah I think I'll avoid that person. It's rare though (sometimes there are verbal exchanges or fights), most often I don't dislike the person, just dislike what they do (I may like some or several other things about them). So I often feel that the best thing for me to do is to turn a blind eye/zone out/go away whenever they do something I don't like.

This applies mostly in casual/social interactions. With best friends and loved ones, heh I choose to deal with whatever they dish out. Like my cousin's apartment-trashing sessions, or my friend's numerous break down episodes. It's the "love" that binds, the feeling "We're in this together". Otherwise I can't escape fast enough.

Capricorn emotion is like a tsunami. Most Caps that I know talk about throwing things, breaking things, turning destructive when they are p*ssed off. You don't do that when you don't care. So, for the preservation of life on earth, Capricorn evolved with a freezer switch that we can turn on when we are about to go psycho.

You don't (usually) see the psycho, you just see someone who is weirdly calm and cool.

It's better that way...

I agree with everything you said. I've seen Capricorns lose their sh*t. It's really difficult to watch actually.

Btw, where's you Venus? Since you've written most of your placements and I recall you stating you were a Gem Mars. Already so much of your chart seems so compatible with mine. Just you being a Cap sun is enough to make me swoon hahaha!

It depends on the person and situation...I think everyone cuts ties once in a while.

With me, if I ever felt affection for a person, part of that lingers. So if I no longer talk to a friend but were to bump into them on the street, I would be nice to them. Why not? Life is too short to hold grudges. Usually it's not even them I have an issue with, it's just that the relationship didn't work out.

Cap affection can last a really long time, whether we are showing it or not.

I don't think there's any hatred Hannah. They just feel like "it's over" with that person, and they need to distance themselves.

You had me at "Pisces"

LOL

My Venus: 5H Sag, conjunct Neptune, trine Saturn, sextile Mercury.

It's my only non-afflicted planet unless you work with super wide orbs and/or treat Ceres as a minor planet. (Then it gets more than 2* orb, and its opposition to Venus counts.)

I'm sorry to hear that you had to witness a Cap meltdown.

NOT FUN.

I feel the same. Affection lingers. While I move on quickly, the sight or thought about someone whom I used to care about may still tug at my heartstrings. Although I don't want them in my life, there is quite a lot I would do for old times' sake.

People have seen me go psycho, too. Not something I'm proud of, not in the least bit. The only thing that cheers me up about it is...you know when you hear stories of grandmothers lifting up cars to free their grandchildren stuck under the tires?

That's the kind of power I feel surging through me when I come unglued. Like I am trying to contain the same amount of force and drive that could enable a granny to lift a car.

Soooo if anyone needs a car lifted I might be the one to ask. Especially if I am angry about something. Mars trine Pluto helps.

Awww, you're making me all giddy hahaha! Sag Venus huh, how interesting!

I like your chart. Although your Venus isn't aspected, do you still feel the dissonance in energy between Moon, Venus, and Mars? Cap Sun, Pisces Moon is just about the sweetest thing ever. And then that bubbly Venus Mars combination. You honestly have an awesome chart.

LMAO @ the granny analogy. Yes, I never underestimate Capricorns. They are survivors. There's a reason why Mars is exalted in Capricorn. I have absolutely no Cap in my chart. But I think why I attract them has so much to do with my 1st ruler being in the 12th (Cap on the cusp) and my 12th ruler, Saturn, being in the 1st. As well as the rulers of my 5th, 7th, 8th, are all exactly conjunct Saturn. Venus also conjunct Saturn. No mystery that I'm attracted to Caps.

A male version of you sounds about perfect to me!

I can only answer for my Cap Moon but I will ice you out. Can sit right in front of you, stare at you and you'd feel as if I am there but not really. I will make a game out of how uncomfortable the situation can really get.

Charlie,

My mother is a virgo with scorp rising and cap moon.

She'll I've you out too. I've noticed however that sun sign contribute a lot to expression of anger. My mother is a virgo so she might give you a cold shoulder after pulling up the scorp stinger (tell you why you are wrong). But after a while she'll respond if the other person tries to apologize.
I have lots of cap influence but I'm mostly an aqua when I'm angry. I just drop people like a hot potato and moves on.

When I dislike someone I'm neutral and typical towards him. That's when he's not a big fuss. If someone really sucks, I ignore him, I get a little bit of sarcastic, and if he's really rude I get bitchy and do not regret it. Just to let you know Capricorns are polite, calm and get angry only when there's a reason. We think a lot before we act...

Cap guys are so hot. <3 Unfortunately, for me, it somehow never clicks even though I feel a lot of attraction towards them.. maybe because they are shy to take the first step too? Idk

You have a Cap stellium?
