Oh I should have just quoted you. This is what I meant. *mirroring again* IP: Logged |

Even my mom is like this, she has venus conj neptune and sometimes i can make her "realize" something about something and then it wont take her long before she thinks she realised that by herself and then will say back to me the exact same thing i made her realize about that certain something. Sometimes i even feel they don`t know how to even think for themselves, like they either have to read a wise quote or talk to a person they find "wise" for them to create something in their minds.Rarely do i feel like they sit by themselves and figure something out themselves. Often times i feel like they use another s knowledge.I do find them nice (sometimes a bit too nice) but rarely do i trust them bc of the deceptiveness and easily affected personality.
Maybe they need to "mirror" so they can better understand something. This isn't with just people but art, music, books, movies. Pisces energy experience things much differently than other signs -- I don't think anyone can really understand it unless you have the energy prominent. They need to be impressionable and literally lose themselves to feel the essence of things -- this is the Achilles heel as well as beautifulness of the sign. I think more people get impressed with Pisces than the other way around, just look at this board for instance. People seem more interested in Pisces, Neptune and 12th house stuff, even in other astrology forums its all about Pisces and Neptune...I don't think Pisces people are trying to impress someone, as much as relate to them.
I guess some Pisces can't think for themselves, but I just don't see it. Pisces is not a sign I would equate to not thinking for themselves and needing other people's ideas. They're a visionary sign and some of their insight comes to them in unique ways, not the logical way a Virgo would think much more indirectly. To be honest, we all steal from each other and re-work things, that is what creativity and humanity is founded on. Nothing is really new, we build from each other and make connections. A mirror is a reflector, it also represents the subconscious and conscious, things that we think we have seen but maybe not. Mirrors are like portals, they were long thought of as gateways. Pisces is like a gateway -- they are the last sign before everything begins renewed again. When someone mirrors someone they try to understand the whole package of the feelings, ideas, or thoughts of that person, only way to do that is to step into someone's shoes. A Pisces is hoping when they mirror someone they will get a good "take-away" something that is inspiring to them. Pisces energy wants to be inspired, they need to be inspired, they want the World to mean something. Pisces is not afraid of immersion, in fact they're drawn to it. Pisces is more afraid that they won't know when to open the door to come back to themselves, they hesitate and linger too long and get caught up in weird situations. Pisces is a accommodating and highly adaptable sign. Pisces has a strong need to feel, because they have no grounding, they need to have strong experiences because they feel like they don't exist unless they feel things in a profound way -- they can go to the ends of the Earth and back again just on emotions alone. I'm strongly 12th house influenced, Pisces North Node, and my ASC, MC, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars aspect Neptune. I noticed I have no problems understanding people and stepping into other people's shoes. But regardless I always remain true to myself. I really see Pisces/Neptune energy as a gift more than a hindrance when you know how it works as it can open many doors to the creative fields. But it has its difficult side, it's confusing and can be emotionally draining but people who have Pisces energy strong has the means to handle it if they so wish to or they can succumb to the negative side. Pisces energy is not for the weak of heart, it can make your life great or it can make you feel horrible and misunderstood or both. IP: Logged |

Right. I wanted to add that Pisces people with Mercury in either Aries of Aquarius can be confrontational just for the fun of it. Other planets and aspects are going to modulate the Pisces, too. And for what it's worth, all the Pisces men I've known in person are more or less intimidating. They say sun-moon conjunctions are ideal in synastry but I couldn't imagine ever dating a Pisces. Yeah they are sweet but do NOT get on their bad side. IP: Logged |

The most terrifying man I know is a pisces sun. I don't know his age so that's all I know. But he's just. Terrifying. Someone you definately don't wanna get on the bad side of. I'm sure he had a lot in aries! I don't know why they say sun moon conjunctions are ideal. Every time I had that aspect with someone I couldn't stand them... IP: Logged |

As Pisces Rising + Neptune conj SunI can relate to a lot of what has been said here. But, I do most of my mirroring with the people I like a lot, usually to try to bridge some character differences with the other person if I think it's necesary and to soften some of the bluntness of my Sag stellium IP: Logged |

Yeah some of em aren't to be trusted. I don't see em as mysterious either, but some of the Suns seem very fluid and I think that intrigues some people. IP: Logged |

Oh and mirroring, some do it to be liked cos they're way insecure and don't think they'd be good enough on their own. Maybe they're right but who would ever know. But every Pisces Sun I've met has been pretty interesting so I don't know why they'd think that IP: Logged | |
