So I came across this thread:

I agree i calculated all my aspects and have attracted signs that my aspects gave me an affinity towardsIts actually very interesting some of my good friends share affinities with me like im a sun scorpio and my best friend has sun trine pluto exact we get along great and are very perceptive and notice things that fly over others heads Also i always wondered why i got along so well with aries moons i love em haha and on the affinity chart i have 3 out of 4 possible affinities and its correct i do get along with/ attract them To answer your question yes even minor aspects should be counted but i wouldnt consider it as strong as a major aspect A minor aspect wouldnt really attract the energy as often as a major aspect its more like something that would be felt between another person once you get to know them more personally say you meet someone with a sign you share an affinity with and you instantly click and get along very well, thats how a major aspect would play out in an interaction. Now lets say your with a person you share an affinity for and you have to work with them or see them daily maybe at first you dont really connect but once you get to know each other more your minor aspect is going to show and work its magic IP: Logged |

Hm interesting, I never looked at mutual receptions like this.In my synastry, I have: Sun in Virgo
he has Mercury in 5th Moon in Leo
he has Sun trine Moon Sun/Venus
he has Venus in 5th Sun/Jupiter
he has Jupiter in 5th he has Moon sesquis saturn
I have saturn in Cancer on DSC he has Venus/Mars
I have Mars in Libra I have Venus in 8th
he has Pluto in Libra
he has Venus/Pluto
I have Pluto in Libra
he has Venus in Aqua
I have Uranus in Libra I have Venus/Neptune
he has Neptune DSC I have Mars/Pluto in 8th

Right! Its very interesting and i see plenty of mutual receptions with people i have good relationships with definatly something to take in to account along with synastry

Thanks for the responses all. And thank you Randall for bumping. What was most interesting to me is that my affinities ended up showing up again and again in friends, exes, and people I've crushed on. Supreme I really like your explanation, it makes sense. I do find like you said that elements which I have a minor aspect with, I don't initially feel pulled towsrds them, but they grow on me over time. Aries moon for example is one of them, I have a minor aspect between my moon and Mars. IP: Logged |
