from my experience, leo tends to make more of a completely devout follower than leader. capricorn is a great advisor.

7th house Sun aries would definitely give leadership potential. I got some Aries, my mars. Any other leadership placements?

I agree Capricorns are good for advising but I would prefer a Virgo as an advisor. They tend to be more devoted to the support roles and offer good cautionary advice though sometimes miss the big picture.

Thanks for the luck. I'll need that and a lot of hard work. I'll cover the hard work part but I'm hoping jupiter 1st house trine capricorn midheaven handles the luck business

Yeah from what I read, you guys are guessing it right
My Chart is almost 50% Cardinal
I have Stelium in Leo, strong Capricorn, Libra rising..
Sun conj. Mc

For me the most important think that a leader has succes is that the people he leads like him and vice versa, that they are friends..

I also wanted to note a person can draw leadership in the work place from Venus in the 6th providing you care to be a leader.

I have it and that placement helps a lot with managing your social capital and increasing it.

hah, youre right. i have that as well!
its funny you bring that up because i had an experience of leading at orientation at my new job today. i dont really want to get into it because it just sounds conceded but, its definitely true!

Awesome! Not conceited at all! Celebrate this placement cause it's very helpful! My cousin has it and experiences the same effect in his daily work though he doesn't care to be a leader - he just likes that everyone at work likes him.

I have a question for you then :P Do you find your romances start up in the work place often? All my romances have been from work whether it be co worker, superiors, or even clients. It just happens like magic and I never understood it.

A small group of friends? I wouldn't say being the dominant one in any way means one is a good leader. That's not leading, its falling into the silly trap of power over others that ego revels in. True leadership is humble, caring, compassionate, decisive yet thoughtful, with consideration for all involved. Its pointless to try and stereotype these attributes to a certain sign as there is free will on this planet. But what would matter is if the individual is playing out the evolved or unevolved versions of his/her major aspects and signs. True power comes from within, having power over oneself is far more important and, well, powerful, than power over others. Those that value the love of power over the power of love are not leaders and have no strong base with which to lead from.

I will second that.
